Very warm welcome by Miguel who took care of everything, earlier and quick check in which was appreciated after a long flight. The room is very comfortable & cosy with the typical St Regis high service quality. Loved the patisserie in the lobby they had such delicious canelle, amazing breakfast.

The pool and gym didn't look very high end and not very inviting unfortunately. The cleaning service could be a bit more careful with details (arranging charging cable, organizing items) and not just clean the room. There is a renovation in progress but as long one doesn't sit all day in the lobby, it won't affect anyone that much. Location is okey

Location: close to Shanghai natural history museum; close to train station. Bed was comfy, had a good night sleep.

Swimming pool at B1, on the way to the pool, air ventilation was not good. Also no direct entry to the pool, but need to enter from changing/shower room, which was unnecessary.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel during my trip to Shanghai, and I wanted to share my experience. Overall, I found the St. Regis Jingan to be one of the most comfortable and welcoming hotels I have ever visited. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the elegance of the property and the attentiveness of the staff. The level of service provided was truly superb. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and stress-free. Whether it was the front desk, concierge, housekeeping, or dining staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly and professional. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. The room itself was beautifully appointed and provided a luxurious retreat after long days exploring the city. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail in everything from the room decor to the in-room services. However, I must mention that the ongoing renovations during my stay did have an impact on the overall experience. While I understand the necessity of these improvements, the construction noise and temporary adjustments did slightly detract from the otherwise outstanding environment. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the St. Regis Jingan and would highly recommend it to others. I look forward to returning in the future and experiencing the hotel once the renovations are complete.

the ongoing renovation

During my stay, I accidentally left my bag—containing my passport—in a Didi. As I do not have a Chinese phone number, I was unable to contact the driver myself. An employee named Peter used his own phone to reach the driver and successfully helped me recover my bag. I am incredibly grateful for his help since I I would have struggled to resolve this issue on my own, and losing my passport would have been disastrous. I appreciated the warm service!

Our stay at The St. Regis Shanghai was absolutely perfect. Special thanks to Butler Yan, who provided outstanding service — attentive, thoughtful, and made us feel truly at home. The hotel is beautiful, luxurious, and every detail exceeded our expectations. We would love to return!

Deco is getting old, bathroom needs update. Doors to bathroom can’t be closed properly. Curtains broken

We didn’t like the breakfast. The facility is dark and cold. Coffee station is not comfortable at all and only nespresso coffee which i personally hate.
