The property is an older property but it is very well maintained. Location is excellent you have everything within walking distance. The breakfast is exceptional. The price you get on booking is the cheapest room and located in the worse part of the hotel. Of course once you arrive they will try to upgrade you however it’s so reasonable that it’s worth it especially if you travel with US dollars or Euro Barranquilla is an older city. However it’s really worth the price and you if traveling for leisure spend a day in Santa Marta absolutely amazing.

Since it’s older it does have a certain smell but nothing bad. Basically the same as many older Hotel s have in NY.

Staff were very friendly and helpful anytime I asked for something. The room was super clean and I had everything I needed. Great location close to everything, lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Breakfast included is fresh every morning and great quality.

The wifi was a bit slow so it was hard to get work done at times.

One of the reasons I picked the hotel was for the pool for my daughter. We checked in on a Sunday and my daughter was counting on the pool on Monday. It was closed and reception indicated that the pool was closed every Monday. We were very disappointed. A reason for possibly not coming back

The location of the hotel is in one of the the main areas. A lot of hustle and bustle. Ease of access to shopping and night life. The staff was great and so was the breakfast!!! The room were nice and clean when we arrived. Check was easy. The pool area is well kept.

The hotel is a little out dated and could use some renovations, but for the price, can’t complain. I definitely would come back for another stay.

Super cool stuff, very friendly and helpful and smiley. 10/10 Breakfast was good, nothing crazy but you have choices. The area is fine, you can find shops etc but it might be a bit shady at night but I guess it is okay, just be more careful. Have a terrace and saun and spa ( never used ). The room is comfy.

They should take care a bit about minor details in the room and bathroom when it comes to furniture and other accessorie. Renew some things around.

The only thing that i did not like was the black water that went down in the street in front of the hotel obviously also with a bad smell. But that was something that the hotel had not in hand.

It was my 1st time in Barranquilla so I was unaware that the hotel was on the strip of bars. So the music didn’t stop till 4am. But I was on vacation so I can’t say I’m angry. It just caught me by surprise

Restaurant was very accommodating until I was allowed to check in at 3pm. Don't expect to check in any earlier. They upgraded for an extra 50,000 pesos, not bad, because they realized I would need a King-sized bed and bigger room from the one I originally reserved.. Internet worked perfectly and bed was a very comfortable. Great water pressure. Hot breakfast was available in the morning. Also the restaurant Salvatore, Italian food/pizza was a block away which was perfect for a family dinner. Two pharmacies are also close by in case of emergency which we had a sick child. I would stay here again.

Nothing not to like. the staff is friendly and breakfast was good. Overall my stay went very well. I will be coming back.

More attention to detail during the check in. There was a billing issue on my way out that could have been easily prevented.

Perfect location, comfortable bed, fast wifi, performant A/C, hot water, small but nice pool, good breakfast

It could be very noisy (and impossible to sleep) if your room is located on the street (traffic never stop and the windows are single glazing !!)
