The location is truly unbeatable, and the staff were consistently welcoming and helpful—definitely a highlight of the stay. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, even if the décor felt a bit dated. Breakfast was decent, and with a few tweaks, it could be even better. We did notice a faint odor coming from the kitchen, but it didn’t significantly affect our experience. Overall, a very pleasant stay with exceptional service and a location that’s hard to beat.

While overall it was a good stay, a few things could be improved. The kitchen had a noticeable odor that was a bit unpleasant. The room, though very clean, felt outdated in terms of decor. Breakfast was okay, but not as fresh or varied as I’d hoped.

The apartment itself needs more up keep and update. we understand that maybe the idea is to keep the hotel with classic and conservative look. However, the apartment looked deteriorated. We also felt that the stuff around the apartment can improve like kitchen utensils, heaters and the entertainment like Netflix, YouTube and apps. One thing to keep in mind is that we left some food to eat it later at night and when we came back the food was not there, maybe the person that cleaned the room threw it away thinking it was done but we saved it for later, next time it will be better to ask or leave things in the kitchen.

When the staff at the check-in gives you a paper to sign, they have to give you time to read first what you are going to sign, only one time I found one staff with lack of experience or poor manner, or unfriendly. But everyone else were very kindly. The waiter at Maki Bar, thank you for his kindness. Excellent service in the breakfast restaurant on the 3rd floor. Paola and Peter, a big hug for you both. Keep it up, you deserves a 10+ because you know how to serve, with your kindess and very helpful. The cleaning lady, a great thank you, the apartment is always very clean. Bless to be blessed

The location is great, close to a big mall and good transportation options. The hotel room was very comfortable, with super nice beds and showers, and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. The staff is amazing all around, especially Milena at the reception, who helped us a lot during three different stays we had. They have taxis right outside that are part of the hotel, always safe, always helpful. We ended up doing short trips outside of Bogotá with them for a very good price and service, especially Nelson.

The rooms can be a bit cold but we got heaters. We were there three times as we were traveling back and forth to Bogota, some of the rooms were a bit outdated but still very comfortable. The rooms towards the church can be a bit noisy.

La Fontana Estelar always offers a secure and friendly ambiance. The staff is increíble and attentive to all my family necessities.

I would pay more attention in the tools available in the apartments. It will be nice to have an air fryer or a little oven for cooking, always have a kitchen paper towels, and more cooking utensils.

The exterior of the hotel is very beautiful and the hotel is in a very good location.

The apartment's furniture looks a bit dated. I had the impression that the breakfast on the first floor is much better than the one on the second floor, which is used for apartments. The daily surcharge of 120 thousand pesos for pets seems excessive to me.

I travelled with my wife, a toddler, and a baby. The room had two bedrooms and that made our stay vey comfortable. As you can imagine with two infants, our room was always a mess but the the cleaning service was stellar! We also really liked the breakfast buffet with the eggs made to order.

There is not much we didn't like. One suggestions, the wifi in the gym was not working well. We would have also appreciated a map of the facilities upon arrival.

This place is our favorite hotel in Bogota, and we stay here every time we visit. Well kept grounds, spacious rooms (we stay at the apartments), delicious breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff, one of the best cafés in Bogotá and a nice bar comoliment the experience.

Although the hotel feels dated, it is spacious, clean, and well kept. Not terribly accessible for people with disabilities as ramps sometimes end in steps and not easy to navigate (we used a stroller). Our biggest disappointment this time was the restaurant Tonnarello with mediocre, overpriced dishes, and slow, although friendly service.

They should wash the curtains and change the towels as they seem old. If you don't like noise you should request an apartment facing the interior of the property as the ones facing the street can be noisy

Very limited kitchenware (ex. Saucepan). Fair cutlery but limited. The kitchen was very old. The electric stove was old and took ages to boil water or cooking.
