The location is great, close to a big mall and good transportation options. The hotel room was very comfortable, with super nice beds and showers, and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. The staff is amazing all around, especially Milena at the reception, who helped us a lot during three different stays we had. They have taxis right outside that are part of the hotel, always safe, always helpful. We ended up doing short trips outside of Bogotá with them for a very good price and service, especially Nelson.

The rooms can be a bit cold but we got heaters. We were there three times as we were traveling back and forth to Bogota, some of the rooms were a bit outdated but still very comfortable. The rooms towards the church can be a bit noisy.

The exterior of the hotel is very beautiful and the hotel is in a very good location.

The apartment's furniture looks a bit dated. I had the impression that the breakfast on the first floor is much better than the one on the second floor, which is used for apartments. The daily surcharge of 120 thousand pesos for pets seems excessive to me.

I travelled with my wife, a toddler, and a baby. The room had two bedrooms and that made our stay vey comfortable. As you can imagine with two infants, our room was always a mess but the the cleaning service was stellar! We also really liked the breakfast buffet with the eggs made to order.

There is not much we didn't like. One suggestions, the wifi in the gym was not working well. We would have also appreciated a map of the facilities upon arrival.

This place is our favorite hotel in Bogota, and we stay here every time we visit. Well kept grounds, spacious rooms (we stay at the apartments), delicious breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff, one of the best cafés in Bogotá and a nice bar comoliment the experience.

Although the hotel feels dated, it is spacious, clean, and well kept. Not terribly accessible for people with disabilities as ramps sometimes end in steps and not easy to navigate (we used a stroller). Our biggest disappointment this time was the restaurant Tonnarello with mediocre, overpriced dishes, and slow, although friendly service.

Very limited kitchenware (ex. Saucepan). Fair cutlery but limited. The kitchen was very old. The electric stove was old and took ages to boil water or cooking.

location. easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, etc. Very close to trendy Usaquen neighborhood. However, it depends on what you are planning to do in Bogotá. this location is far from the historic center and traffic is a concern. This location was perfect for us because our family lives in the area. the breakfast that was included was excellent, featuring local food and fruits. The staff was very helpful and cordial. All restaurants on site were really good.

I think the apartments need some renovation. Investing some money in painting the cabinets and updating the furniture. The kitchen appliances were not working properly. The beds were a little hard.

Nice, safe location, albeit a bit far from most sites of interest for us. Very nice complex with good facilities, including a gym and jacuzzi / sauna. Excellent service. The apartment we rented was spacious and sufficiently comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout.

Beautiful hotel and location is very good. Great staff, very helpful. Loved the 24 hr room service. Loved that they have a laundry, spa, gym and 2 restaurants on site. There is everything you need.

I would have loved to have a tv in the living room.

We had a great experience in Estelar la Fontana. Very safe historic hotel, several restaurants inside the hotel. Buffet breakfast. It’s an old hotel but rooms are renovated. It’s really close by one of the most popular malls in Bogotá (unicentro). Very good price

The apartment was spacious, with 4 bedrooms, each with their own bath and balcony. Our apartment overlooked a beautiful courtyard with a bell tower and chapel. We arrived late at night and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with platters of fresh fruit, bread and pastries , eggs, pancakes and a delicious Colombian rice dish.

Would like to have had a coffee maker and wash clothes. There were plenty of nice towels.
