The Fairfield by Marriott Bogota Embajada is in an excellent location if you have an appointment at the US embassy or any government offices nearby, plus it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. The area isn’t super touristy or residential, but it felt very safe, probably because of all the important buildings around. Having a mall in the same building with lots of restaurants and a Crepes & Waffles nearby was super convenient. We tried the hotel restaurant for lunch, and it was surprisingly good and affordable. The portions were large, and everything we had was tasty. Breakfast had a great selection too, though I’m not sure if they rotate the options daily. The staff was really nice and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even better.

The hotel restaurant seemed a little understaffed, so getting tables cleaned, orders taken, and the check processed took longer than expected, but everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful. There’s no fitness center inside the hotel, but they have a partnership with a gym in the building. I just wish I had known that beforehand since it closes early, and I prefer working out at night. The room was fine, but compared to other Marriott hotels, especially in the US, it felt a little below standard. Small things like missing bed skirts exposing some stains on the mattress springs, privacy shades that were slightly broken at the edges, and only getting one small roll of toilet paper could be improved.

My recent stay at the Fairfield Marriott Bogotá was a delightful experience. The hotel's comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, and convenient location made it a perfect choice for my trip. The climate control in the room was a lifesaver, ensuring a restful sleep. The view from my window was also quite pleasant. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a delicious variety of both local and international options. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, especially Señora Claudia who cleaned our room and ensured we had everything we needed. The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to major attractions and transportation options. Additionally, the hotel offers convenient airport shuttle services leaving every hour, making it easy to get to and from the airport.

While I was surprised to find that the steam room had an additional fee, I still enjoyed my stay overall. compared to other options in Bogota, I found rooms to be very small.

The location and the cleanliness of the room and facilities

I was surprised by the steep charges for the ironing service. My partner and I had only packed clothing that required ironing for our trip. Upon arriving, we realized that our room didn’t include an iron or ironing board. I contacted the laundry service and was informed that ironing would incur an additional cost per item, with varying prices depending on the garment. I was disappointed that this information wasn’t disclosed during the booking process.

Breakfast, the food, and the restaurant/bar staff were awesome, especially Don Edgar, who was so special and attentive to us. The location of this hotel is perfect very close to nice restaurants and shopping centers.

The room had a weird smell. I didn’t like the smell of the bed sheets, and the shower doors need to be fixed to prevent water from getting outside.

I am 52 years old and I have been in countless hotels and lodgings and I have never been in a place so comfortable and impressive as the Fairfield from Marriot in Bogotá, Colombia.

The only thing I didn't like and it is irrelevant, in that the shower has a glass wall and not a door. What I didn't like is that, after a shower, the floor got all wet.

The hotel is very close to the airport and have shops and restaurants around it. It was good value for the money with rich breakfast and equipped Gym

The room I had was very very small. In addition, not sure why, but I requested to send water to.my room from two different people at different time and they fail to assist. This was annoying.

Breakfast was a very special experience for us starting with the main host which welcome you with a big smile and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your breakfast. We think the restaurant including room service was excellent and well managed. Jesus & Desiree

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The breakfast offered a delightful variety of options that catered to different tastes, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. Moreover, the hotel's prime location near the US embassy was truly exceptional, making it incredibly convenient for anyone needing to handle arrangements there.

The hotel rooms have interconnected phones, which unfortunately resulted in receiving late-night calls from other guests who dialed the wrong extension. To address this issue, I had to disconnect the phone. I reported the problem to the hotel staff, who assured me that they would discuss it with the maintenance team. However, I suggest disconnecting the phone during your stay to avoid receiving unexpected calls from other guests during the night

Location, spacious room, very clean, very nice staff.

Not enough tables, very simple breakfast, under staffed, employees from the Hotel and groups having breakfast within the same space all of it happening at breakfast time, decreasing the quantity of available tables and quality of the food being served. I ended up having breakfast somewhere else even after paid.
