This is an outstanding, amazing 5-star luxury hotel that would cost much, much more per night if located in an American city in my home state of Florida like Miami, Orlando, or Tampa. The on-site restaurants are top notch, the buffet breakfast was incredible, and the spa experience was outstanding. It is also located in a great, safe area of Bogota with concierge services and convenient access to tourist attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel for a long weekend or weeklong romantic getaway for two to visit Colombia's capital city and surrounding areas.

I have only two comments on this side, and they are both minor considerations. First, the sauna and steam room features of the spa experience are in the locker rooms and so you can't enjoy them together if a hetero couple. In that way, it's less of a true "spa" experience and more of a high end pool/jacuzzi/sauna with massage facility add-on. Second, while it is an excellent value by US standards, there are other hotels in Bogota that, while not quite as 'high end' of an experience as the Grand Hyatt, come pretty darn close but are 1/3 of the cost AND include breakfast in the room price. With that being said, the Grand Hyatt does deliver on its promises and was a phenomenal weekend stay for us.

Food from cafeteria was wonderful. Rooms were amazing, as well as the view from the 13th floor. People were nice and responded to requests for help quickly. Wonderful facilities.

I did not like that the pool was closed. It was only open one day of my entire stay and closed the next. It is a main draw to the hotel and part of the reason that I paid the high price I did. If a hotel advertises a pool on their website then it should either be available for those using the facitilites, or there should be some type of partial refund for failure to provide what was advertised to guests and influenced the reason for their stay at your property.

Price is a little high

The staff above everything else is what stood out to me. Especially the person I spoke to in the concierge lounge on the 13th floor. With that being said, the hotel is one of the nicest I’ve been to. And provide many amenities that will make your stay one to remember.

I honestly can’t say. Everything from the room, amenities, to the staff were exceptional. The only thing, which really wasn’t an issue at all. Is that because I am a larger human being the toilet seemed smaller than what I am used to.

Everything was awesome. The staff , house keeping and room service were on point. Everyone was kind and just amazing. Every person from house keeping was just amazing. On scale from 1 to 10 i give them a 20. This is my 2nd time there and this will be the only hotel I will stay at for the foreseen future visiting Bogota.

The mini bar prices were a little outrageous.i mean 17000 pesos for a candy bar is not ok.

We stayed here for a day and night on our way back from La Paz. This was our second time. We paid a little extra for a room upgrade so that we could check-in early in the morning. Our room was modern, very spacious, clean and comfortable. There was also a fantastic view of the city. The toiletries were very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent - diverse, fresh and delicious. Room service was great. We enjoyed dinner at the Japanese restaurant on the top floor. The pool/sauna/gym complex is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We also had one of the best massages of our lives at the spa.

Elegant hotel with great taste in decorations. The room was very quiet despite facing a major road (Ave El Dorado - Av 26). The room was spacious, clean, bed very comfortable. Bathroom big, clean and great shower with really nice toiletries. Breakfast buffet was very generous with great variety. Most staff was very friendly. We did not use the pool area but visited and it looked great with several pools and jacuzzis

Check-in and check-out were slow, both waiting and the actual process could be quicker. Minor issues. The juices at breakfast and for room service were not 100% natural (e.g. orange juice was not freshly squeezed, even though we were told it was when we ordered room service). More options of teas (like non-caffeinated) would have been nice in the room, as well as things to stir the drinks. Overall we were very happy with our stay so these are minor issues

Spacious room with huge bathroom and very comfy bed. Outstanding breakfast with great fresh fruit and juice selection. Amiable and efficient staff. Huge gym and a pleasant atmosphere at the bar.

The pool was out of service (I guess maintenance), and the spa was unavailable.

What I liked most was that every day there was a surprise, like having sleepers or extra luggage racks after our daily room service. Breakfast was always awesome and there was never the same menu. Some items remained but we always found something new to try. The decoration of every space was simply spectacular. We loved the fresh flower arrangements, tropical leaves, the small electric fireplaces, and specially, the ethnic decoration incredibly matched with updated and modern items and colors. Staff was very welcoming and polite, and reflected how well they have been trained and managed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a perfect addition to our stay, and the gym was perfect for keeping our exercise routines while away from home. Of course, the coffee was always great. Every space was in pristine condition. It is very well located in the city and there were several options nearby the hotel for dining or getting last minute items, like snacks or medicines; not to mention that there is a nice mall in about three blocks walk.

We didn’t like having to leave.

Unfortunately, my time in Bogotá was only for one night, I was not able to see the pool or the breakfast facilities, but the room was incredible, the hotel meet my expectations, the shopping center just two blocks away makes the stay at this hotel even better.
