I love the staff…they are kind, friendly and very attentive. Every day I am greeted with smiles and it makes me feel very comfortable especially when traveling solo. The hotel itself is very speacial. The energy of this property is quite soothing and it literally feels like you are home.

I wish the shower was a bit hotter…it is a bit chilly to have all the open cooler air while trying to warm up in the shower/tub. This is not the case in the VIP room with the white tub…that room has a separate room that you can close the door to hold the heat so it is very comfortable…this is why this is my favorite room there🥰

The ambience was gorgeous. Very cool. Very quiet even thought it is right downtown. The museums and restaurants were very close. The staff including Esperanza, the lady who made us breakfast each day, and the young man at the front desk; were EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Honestly the staff made the entire stay! Wow. (If you stay in Candelaria- we highly recommend the Capital Graffiti Tour & Workshop!)

The Booking add said that the bed was King size but it was not. My husband is very tall and both the mattress and the shower were challenging for him. The lighting was also very dark, although when we brought it up they immediately brought us a lamp.

This is a beautiful hotel situated right in the middle of Bogotá’s historical centre, close to great museums, bars and restaurants. It’s stylish and well furnished whilst retaining original historical features (like internal courtyards and incredible wood panelling). The breakfasts and dinners (in the hotel’s own restaurant) were absolutely superb - really high quality menus, local ingredients and presentation! Finally, the staff were so helpful and accommodating. When our outbound flight was cancelled, Pedro and Esperanza made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and provided for whilst we waited for our replacement flight. I highly recommend a stay here if you’re visiting Bogotá!

The location was great and I'm glad we stayed there; walking distance to the major attractions in La Candelaria. One of the things I'd read before the trip was that the area was dangerous at night but it didn't feel that way. There are a lot of restaurants and bars opening up in the area too. We liked the hotel as it was just 3 rooms and when we stayed we were the only guests. Rooms were large and despite what I'd read in some reviews, the heating worked well. I enjoyed the breakfasts but my wife doesn't really like eggs and for four days we had eggs for breakfast.

Everyone comments that the rooms are gloomy and dark. They are. I found it difficult to find things in the room without my phone flashlight! WiFi was weak and kept dropping out. There were a couple of free bottles of water in the room when we arrived, but after that we were charged for water.

The hotel is very well located, the staff is fantastic and the hotel is very beautiful. The breakfast is unreal and everyone is great!

The wifi doesnt work on the bedroom, only outside it. The shower didnt have much hot water (but because it was hot outside, it was fine). All the rest was great

I loved everything about this property! The vibe of this place is amazing. It was perfect after a three week stay in Puntamayo area of Columbia! The room was so comfy and luxurious with the amazing textiles and the lighting. The bedding was rich and delicious! And the food was incredible…it was literally like staying as their personal guest! The kitchen staff were so fun and made my breakfasts and lunches so special! Best café con leche every morning! Pedro was a wonderful host and helped me with any local questions and finding a great sushi place for my friends Birthday dinner. Esperanza was sheer joy to be around… she was always there when you thought you needed something…she would appear with her beautiful smile and over pouring kindness! I felt like I was staying and an old family home and I will most certainly be back many more times.

I have nothing negative to say about my stay in this special place! It is now my favorite place in Bogata! ❤️✨until next time my new family, Ciao! Dios te bendiga!

Very well decorated, clean, and very attentive staff (Esperanza and the chef made sure we were well taken care of every day)! Fairly quiet neighborhood location, but the restaurant music permeates the entire hotel until 9-10pm. Great complimentary breakfast, prepared picture-perfectly! Great options for dinner as well.

Only minor issues: Wi-Fi was spotty the first two days, but worked really well our final day there. Bathroom in the deluxe room was beautiful, but claw foot tub seemed to rock a bit and the shower head was about eye-level for 5'11" person.

We really loved the style of the Hotel Dios, often 'boutique' hotels can be tacky but this is a really beautiful hotel, the central location is excellent for exploring the city and the staff we super kind and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast and our room was really comfortable and well equipped.

There is not much I can say that would have improved our stay here, perhaps a little more generous breakfast (or slightly more choice), the rest was close to perfect so don't want to say there was anything we 'didn't like'

Wonderful hospitality at the Hotel Dios; all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This boutique hotel is full of artistic touches and unique design. It has a great location in the Candelaria neighborhood convenient for many tourist destinations. The restaurant was also excellent, and we looked forward to our delicious breakfasts!

The hotel is very stylish. Colonial. With a lot of nice details. All the stuff was fantastic - very friendly and efficient even though noone there speaks English.

Our room overlooking the courtyard was a bit dark. Nearly no daylight and not enough lamps.
