Jenny the manager (owner?) was lovely and helped arrange a very early transfer to the airport. She was able to find me a spare blanket (It was really cold the night I arrived and the room had no heater) The extra blanket was enough. Great spot on the edge of Candelaria--the artsy area of Bogota. The room had a fabulous shower with lots of hot water! Spotless room.

Really noisy room (on the street side), Several passing Friday night parties. Couple of local dogs had been left for the evening while the owners were out and barked for about 4 hours. It's the nature of being in the city but consider asking for a room not on the street. That might solve the issue. Or earplugs.

Amazing location in La Candelaria. Just a few minutes from everything worth visiting. This is what you pay for and it is good value for your money.

Exactly because it is in a fantastic location to visit every bar and club in La Candelaria the quality of people is not ideal for spending a quiet evening resting in the hotel. I was very unlucky to even have people playing musical instruments the whole day, and the lack of glass windows (which is something that even exceptional hotels feature as it is traditional in this country), made my stay restless.

Situated it in the historic center of Bogota, Ayenda Casa Candilejas is a lovely place to stay. We were a group of six friends traveling l. And we loved the team here (especially Patricia) who were extremely helpful and polite. The hotel has a lovely terrace with a small kitchenette where we spent a lot of fun times, just hanging out.

The rooms are very small and a few of them don't even have any windows or ventilation. This was not mentioned anywhere in the room descriptions. Also, the bathrooms are very very small. Please check all this at the time of booking... We didn't.

The bed was the best. It was so comfortable! It was difficult to leave the bed in the morning. Right in the centre but quiet at night. We walked to all main attractions. We olny use Uber to go out at night. With the exception of one lady, who appeared to always be in a bad mood, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again should we return to Bogota.

The WiFi. It was useless. I couldn't even use WhatsApp.

Best stay possible in Bogota. GREAT location - safe, with a lot of graffiti art around, and close to everything. Very helpful, nice and flexible owner and excellent staff on the reception. I will remember always smiling Karolina. Accommodation is nice, clean and there is a great rooftop "living room" for work or chatting with friends. Overall great place to stay and I will stay there again for sure.

The facilities were clean and secure. I liked the upstairs patio.

Not much of a community. I never saw other guests, only heard them because the walls were very thin. Every time someone used the bathroom I could hear everything and any talking in the building echoed through the atrium area my room was off of. I sat on the upstairs patio several times and never saw another person.

Huge comfy bed, very safe location and inside the hotel too. Very quiet and relaxing. Great access to TV streaming channels and good Internet access too. A nice room on the top floor for relaxing and eating too. Staff were very helpful even though they speak almost no English and we speak almost no Spanish.

The shower was really small and because it was an electric shower it wasn't powerful enough. Resulted in either a cold shower with plenty of water or a warm shower with just a poor flow of water.

Loved it here! This is a hidden gem. Right in the center of the historic Bogota (La Candelaria). This is where you want to stay if you want to be within walking distance of the restaurants, museums, and sightseeing - including Monserrate. The stay was very cozy and comfortable. The helpdesk employees were so easy to work with, and always answered any questions I had. There is a hang-out/gym on the terrace that is fun if you want to get away and do some self-discovery. They also have a laundry service where you can get your laundry back the same day. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable room, very quiet at night despite lots of other guests. Kitchen and rooftop common area were great to prepare breakfast and mingle.

Non smoking in the common areas should be strictly enforced. While we were there, a large group ignored the non smoking signs while we were having our breakfast.

Good location, clean and comfortable room, hot water in the shower, reasonably priced. Staff was extremely helpful. Quiet section of town, perfectly safe for walking around and not far from shopping/restaurants. Would highly recommend.
