Lovely small hotel, quiet, very clean, with good wifi and hot water! Located right next to the university campus and very short walk to the Montserrate Taquilla. 30 min drive to the airport (taxi flat rate 60,000 COP, uber 35-40,000 COP). Also, within walking distance of many other popular sites in La Candelaria neighborhood. We visited in February, low tourism season. Staff were really friendly and helpful, though no one spoke English (make sure you have Google translate on your phone). Hotel held our bags for us after we checked out at no charge so we could see more of Bogota before our late evening departure. There is a strip of very rough cobblestone in front of the hotel so most ubers and cabs will not drop off /pick up right at the door (Uber had us meet the car about 500 ft down the street) but if you contact the hotel in advance, they will arrange a ride for you that will.

I loved the friendly staff, Ana the receptionist is super sweet and super helpful. Anything we asked for she would help us get. She helped us get an uber from the hotel to the airport. The driver was very careful while driving. I cannot forget to mention the chef Ms. Gregoria she made us the most amazing arepas I’ve ever tasted in my whole 10 day trip to Colombia, but hers were the best. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone that likes modern/ rustic vibe with amazing staff. Is also super close to the cerro moncerratte, and 15 minutes walking to downtown and other nice locations.

Excellent location, the staff is very helpful and kind, it is clean. They kept my luggage until the night when I had to go to airport and were very helpful in booking my transportation whenever it was needed. The decoration is so beautiful. They provided hair dryer and electrical heater, which was very helpful and despite they don't have a kettle in the room, they provide hot water and a cup for making tea/coffee. Breakfast is just ok, it is tasty, but not huge.

The internet dropped several time and was unstable. The rooms are tight and there is no much place for the luggage or hanging clothes. Note that there are no windows; however that was not a problem when you just want the room for sleeping, but otherwise it is something to consider.

I like the cosines of the hotel situated on the brink of La Candelarria. Close to all important things: 7-minute walk from Monserrate funicular, 10 minutes from Plaza de Bolivar, not far from Botero museum, Museom of gold.... Oh and let's not forget the sumptuous breakfasts.

Most of all, I got to get used to temperatures. Coming from 30+ Celsius to unheated room, when it is around 15 degrese outside, is tough. But after three nights, I got used to it. bed-cover is very warm and you preheat the bathroom by opening hot water 😉.

This is a great place to stay in Bogota either if you come for work or for pleasure. It’s location is fantastic, right in the historical center of the city and within walking distance of all the museums and attractions. The hotel is beautifully decorated and styled. The room I stayed had a good size and a nice bed. The breakfast was fantastic, and very tasty. Last but not least, the staff is amazing. Super friendly and helpful! For sure a place I will go back if in Bogota and fully recommend!

I dislike flat pillows, so for me that was not nice. But a minor issue.

The location was very safe, central to everything including el museo Botero and el museo del oro, and the staff is phenomenal! In addition, you couldn’t ask for better customer service! The breakfast was wonderful! I highly recommend you asking for airport service too! Camila is just so delightful, and she will transport you safely to the hotel and back to the airport again! I felt very comfortable staying here even as a single woman traveler.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Quinta Bolivar in Bogotá. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety during my entire stay. A special thank you to Laura from the staff and the hotel driver Andrés, who were incredibly supportive and helpful during an unexpected emergency situation. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. The rooms were comfortable, the location ideal, and the overall service exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bogotá!

really lovely quirky hotel with a very interesting style. very attractive, comfortable, communal areas. our bedroom upstairs was really quiet once the people in the room next door had finished showering. we had a very good night's sleep. the bed was super comfortable. the staff were really friendly and helpful. the hotel is in a very nice, safe area, next to the university which made it very quiet outside at night, but was only a 15 mins walk to Plaza de Bolivar. there is a restaurant complex just down the road where we ate dinner at the really good Wok restaurant. breakfast was good.

the bathroom is small with a tiny washbasin. Some fresh fruit at breakfast would be a great addition.

The location was great, right in the old town, easy access to museums and the square just 15 minutes walk plus very close to Mount Monserrate, nice cafes and Simon Bolivar house. The breakfast was lovely, good options, the hotel had great character, the staff were wonderful very helpful and accommodating and the room was very cosy.

We were downstairs so sometimes the sound of the doorbell and reception at night was annoying.
