Very nice looking, cozy, nice breakfast

The room was a good size, warm in the sunshine but quick to cool down (as all brick walls in the new building) but the whole hotel has a great bohemian vibe. Clean and good size towels. The restaurant serves great food, good portions and is filled with friendly staff who are able to help out if you are curious about the city and don't know where to start. Walk outside and you are in the centre of town! From here it's a few minutes to the Botero museum, and up the hill is a great set of galleries, restaurants and some walking areas with a view of the city.

Still a lot of building work going on in the new building where we stayed. Be prepared for picture frames with no mirrors/pictures - it was arty but also a little disconcerting. The bathroom shelf wasn't straight (everything fell off) and we found the electricity sockets a little temperamental for charging, but that was overcome by charging phones/cameras at night.

The hotel has a very unique "industrial style" charme, it is spacious and modern. The Vibe is lovely. It is very central with lots of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The security staff was always very helpful and nice. There are a lot of activities offered and the welcome drink was very nice. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

We had a very nice Double Room with a balcony, but our friends who booked the same Double Room had to stay directly above the restaurant and could not sleep because of the noise and smell from the kitchen. The food in the restaurant was okay, but nothing special. All in all everything in the Selina was a bit more expensive than in every other place we stayed so far.

We arrived in the early morning 5am and security were accommodating, they let us in to relax while we waited for check in. The location is great, located next to a convenient store and really short walking distance to the square and meeting point for walking / cycling tours. Good facilities - pool table, cinema room, restaurant, bar etc. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Clean room - cleaned every day with fresh towels and toilet paper Good food in restaurant. The room we stayed in had little noise cancellation from outside the hostel but this wasn't a problem for us, it didn't affect our sleep and they also provide ear plugs which was a nice touch so I wouldn't list as a negative just a note to those who may be affected by this. Warm shower.

The location was exactly in the hostoric center of Bogotá. I was very easy to walk everywhere like Museo Fernando botero, Museo casa de la moneda, El Chorro de Quevedo, etcetera. Also, they give a welcome drink which was very fancy. And the food is really good. There is live music during the evenings which makes the bar even better.

I did not meet many people in this hostel.... I don't know something felt diferent from the Medellin hostel.... strange... Also, the sidewalk was under construction and there was a lot of noise & pollution coming inside the hostel... they did not warn me about this. One morning I was having my breakfast and suddenly, the noise & gases starting coming inside and made my eyes very irritated.

Amazing decor, friendly and helpful staff, lots of communal areas. Restaurant downstairs with lots of options for different cuisines including vegetarian options. Fantastic shower - really hot and great pressure.

The room was very cold especially at night. There was a heater provided but it didn't help much. Please provide more blankets. It was also extremely noisy in the room and we could hear everything including music from downstairs and all the traffic outside. They did provide ear plugs but it was not ideal. Bed was quite uncomfortable. Please provide a shower mat otherwise everything just gets wet when you get out the shower.

Why do staff always have to congregate around the room and talk so so loud int he early morning?????

The location is perfect; the property is súper beautiful and historical; the staff is pretty friendly and helpful; there’s is a nice restaurant attached to the Hostel with good food. I highly recommend it.

I just gave a 9 instead of a 10 for simple details: Since it’s an old building wherever you walk the floor and the doors make a lot of noise; The coffee served at the restaurant could be much better. It was usually cold and not strong enough; Paying to rent a towel was not cool

This time we had a small room with two separate beds and a shared bath room. The shared bathroom was great. Clean. Comfortable and usually empty. There are also many shared bath rooms to choose from. The amenities are amazing! A lot of space. Events. The restaurant is affordable. The staff is amazing.

The room was okay, but for the price a bit small and dark.

The staff was nice; the facilities were good; the hot water works (much needed in that cold city); I felt safe; the location is great; sufficient bathrooms for a shared space.

I think they can be a bit more strict with the noise policy. You are not to make noise after 11pm, but some people were in the kitchen laughing and talking loudly after 11pm. But I know the vibe of a hostel is all about making connections and having a good time with new people, so I wouldn't really consider this comment a complaint.
