The WHOLE staff exceeds our expectations every time we stay... Luis ( Dining manager / morning ) , Edwin ( Dining manager /evening) ,Cristian / valet parking , front desk English/ Español ready when needed. Housekeeping was superb. Step for step, dollar for dollar.....Hotel Estelar creates cherished memories by providing a first class , full service environment in a beautiful historical landmark. I ate many meals ( 10 days ) . Baby beef ( chimichurri mmm..mmmm.mmmm.) along with🍝spaghetti, accompanied with asparagus i enjoyed several times, Any soup/ sopa is super fresh, tasty and outstanding. The breakfast buffet has every base covered.... Cereals, eggs made special request. Those little buckwheat 🥞 pancakes with a spoonful of mango and rasberry topping kept me coming back for more. Any natural juice provided( maracuya, gunabana , lulo, 🍊 orange, papaya) is breath taking delicious . I requested hot water in a pot for aromatics ( talking tea / fresh herbs bought locally ) often... . On and on and on the good things never stopped. We departed and they made sure we had coffee to start the day on an early wake up. And a big sandwich and juice for the plane ride... Overall put simply... Awesome establishment with awesome employees 👏

Honestly can't 🤔 think of one negative aspect pertaining to Hotel Estelar.

Perfect cozy hotel, looking luxurious, nice big space rooms, nice restaurant, deliciuos breakfast with various hot and cold meals, fresh fruits, polite personel with perfect English. Hotel situated in really safe Chapinero district which has Estrato 5 and 6 levels (highest in city), good connection with old town and center - by Uber you can reach center only in 10 minutes and only for 2-3$ , - that is really amazing for city bigger than London. Suroundings are clean and green, you can find restourants and supermarkets just a minute around.

The hotel staff and very kind and helpful. The rooms are very large, they could use a better assortment of furnishings for their size. The junior suite I reserved had 2 twin beds in the living room area and a king size bed in the bedroom. Since it was just myself I did not need the extra beds and it would have been nice to have a sofa or easy chair to relax on. Bathrooms are fairly good size and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The king size bed was okay, not the most comfortable. The breakfast included has a good variety from fresh fruit, yogurt, grains, cheese, meats and hot entrees. Wi-fi is good and easy to use. The hotel is central to the Chapinero neighborhood and easy to walk or get transportation to other parts of the city.

The breakfast room can be overwhelming as many large families use this hotel and it gets crowded, it is better to get to breakfast earlier when they open at 8 AM. There was nothing that would keep me from using this hotel again for another stay.

They really have friendly, attentive and professional staff. We were a little early and the room wasn't ready so they immediately offered us tea and coffee while we were waiting. Not even 10min later, instead of the standard room we had booked, we got a big suite with a separate living room, kitchenette, walk-in wardrobe and two bathrooms. Not really needed for one night in Bogota between two flights - but much appreciated. Thanks to the Estelar team.

Not meant as a negative comment, but since there is space here to write and some other users have commented about it: yes, the furniture in our room and the interior design of the hotel might be a bit dated but everything is clean and in good order. So if you look for a modern design hotel this might not be the right choice for you. However, we would be happy to stay here again any day with the old design, the great staff and hence a very good value for your money.

Very big and comfortable room, ideal for two adults and two children. Great breakfast, great location, super clean and very friendly staff. There was a problem with our booking and although it was not the hotels responsibility they were super helpful and sorted it out!! And... walking distance to 5 of the finest contemporary restaurants in Bogotá serving the newest Amazonian and traditional cuisines. Hotel breakfast is super healthy with unbelievably fresh fruit (Selfridges quality) and daily changing traditional South American dishes. Beds, pillows, shower, room service, all great.

Good size room and suite

Suite was poorly equipped as there were no electric kettle for coffee, no cutlery and no crockery , only cooking utensils , that was funny , how can you use cooking utensils without crockery and cutlery + kettle ?? So I could not make even coffee , what to talk of cooking food , poor imagination by management . Breakfast was reasonable but not great Room was too small as it gets crowded.

Very confortable, clean and spacious rooms. Great value for the money.

I was charged a cleaning fee for the matress because my son accidentally peed in bed at night. Although I understand this is a distress, I believe hotels should be used to this kind of incident and have cleaning solutions that do not impose extra costs on the guest.

We don't like our stays at Hotel Estelar Suites. We LOVE our stays at Hotel Estelar. We mean what we say...... Hope that helps your decision making process. There is NO other Hotel in BOGOTA that can match or exceed expectations for the money......... The WHOLE Staff performs their duties in a supreme manner. From check in to check out, our experiences are truly treasured memories. That buffet in the morning is fit for a KING and Queen with the staff on stand by to accommodate our every desire. French toast with bacon, omelets, any request we made was met with enthusiasm to satisfy us. I'm very analytical. I could go on ALL day pointing out the pleasures and the STAFF 's supreme professionalism at Hotel Estelar.

Well,this is easy....... Nothing....... Nothing at all. A fair minded person can't ramble on about defects, and let downs, and whatever else. Not here !!!!!!

The hotel is well located and the rooms is quite spacious for two people. We were 2 ladies traveling and felt very safe in the hotel and the breakfast is really good.

We didn’t like that the lock of the door on the first night wasn’t working properly and we had to move a table and chairs from inside of the room to go to bed feeling safe. The next day someone was sent to fix it and it worked fine.

The property is nice and clean, friendly front desk, walking distance restaurants, supermarket, a main street for public transportation if you want to.

we can not get king size bed, we have stay double beds rooms., front desk told us that the way Booking.com did the reservations despite we selected one bed rooms. For two nights, it was heavy party on the rooms above our rooms, we can not sleep until 2:30 midnight.
