Everything is great about this hotel. Staff is nice and friendly. Room is big, comfortable. Bathroom is big and comfortable, great shower. Breakfast was amazing, many options, specialty yogurt and juices, holiday specialties too, egg station for any eggs you like, coffee right to your table. Really enjoyable. The area is great and safe, I knew I had the mall very close with supermarket, movie theater, shops. First day I ordered room service and had an issue, they IMMEDIATELY resolved in the best possible way. Absolute First Class Customer Service. I was impressed. Loved this hotel, you won't regret staying here.

There are security norms you might want to be aware of. These are mildly annoying but of course overall a good thing. For example the elevator doesn't work unless you use your keycard. One time I came back to the room and they were cleaning it. They block the door and don't let you into your own room until they confirm your identity. Again these are mildly annoying but good in the end.

The staff was exceptionally nice. The breakfast staff even remembered how we like our coffee by the second day. The breakfast buffet and fruit choice was amazing, very varied with something for everyone. The beds were very, very comfortable with good pillows, and I'm picky in that regard. The shower pressure was great with nice, hot water. The room had all facilities and kits you would need. We required a different room, and the reception staff was also very accommodating. Laundry service was also great! I know Bogotá, so for me the location is perfect for what I needed. It's not central per se, but it's a safe and quiet neighbourhood with a great mall on front and lots of nice little vendors and shops around.

I'm personally not a fan of carpeted floors, but seeing as there is no heating anywhere in Bogota and nights get cold, maybe it's not so bad.

I didn't like that Booking.com didn't do the right process for booking. I requested full payment at the time of booking according to the Booking.com app. Booking.com did not notify me that I had not been charged in full. The day my sister checked one day before me, she found that the room had not been paid for. Fortunately, the hotel had a great understanding with us loyal customers and agreed to process the payment the next day when I arrived. Very disappointed to put my sister in that situation.

The hotel was surprisingly quiet owing to the double glazed windows. It’s directly opposite to Unicentro Mall which is very convenient. The Gym is small but has enough equipment to cover both cardio and weights. Breakfast spread was excellent with a good balance between Colombian and continental offerings. Overall good value for money.

I wasn’t given the option to choose the currency upon payment by CC so ended up paying more (~A$30) than I should.

The check out process is not efficient; most hotels allow for a fast check out process, Sonesta makes guest go in a line with a queue for no good reason, waiting just to be told you can leave now

The Sonesta Hotel Bogota is now our go to hotel when we travel to Bogota. We were so happy with our stay there. The room was spotless with clean drum tight bed made every day for us. The shower was wonderful with nice soaps and toiletries. One of the nicest things we loved was the breakfast that came with the booking. It included made to order eggs/omelets and a splendid buffet that changed every morning, plus coffee bar included. Buffet included fresh cut fruits, cheeses, lots of breads, pastries, different little cracker appetizers things and homemade Colombian fruit marmalades. Wow! It was a great way to start each day. A remarkable observation was that every staff member in the restaurant and hotel always wore a beautiful welcoming smile and promptly serve you if you need it anything. We felt spoiled! When you enter the hotel there is a free coffee/tea machine and fruit marinated water dispenser there all day. An example of their service was when we informed them that the shower door had a small part that seemed loose, we went to the buffet breakfast and by time we returned to the room it was already fixed like new. How can you beat that? On top of that it’s across the street from a nice mall with 24 hour grocery store and loads of shops/restaurants Thank you Sonesta Bogota you will see us again 😊

the staff was attentive, and very kind and the variety of the options was great. Everything was good quaility and made fresh. We loved the area and it was comfortable

Sometimes you could hear the noise from the conference level from lots of people or even parties late at night. Nothing too much but you could feel the base vibrations from the 5th floor we were at.

The staff in general, their commitment to service is remarkable. The hotel is very clean, spacious and elegant. The breakfast was a buffet and it was delicious, my daughter loved it as well as the 24 hour room service.

It doesn’t have smart tv, so we needed to connect an hdmi cable from the laptop to the tv.

The location is great and the staff are really friendly!! Our room was very clean and comfortable! The breakfast is one of the best around and the staff go way above normal to make sure you are completely satisfied with your meal!! We would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a great place to stay!!

The hotel's location is excellent, situated just across the street from the Unicentro Mall. It offers a modern and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are spotless and cozy, ensuring a restful stay. The staff is exceptionally accommodating and always ready to assist. The breakfast is very good, providing a great start to the day.
