The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the airport. Nearby, there’s a busy local street with a good supermarket and several restaurants. The old walled town is about an hour’s walk away, though taxis are affordable. Beaches are within walking distance, but they all had red flag warnings during our stay. We arrived a little before the official check-in time and felt some reluctance from the manager to allow early check-in. The room was spacious but in need of maintenance. One of the window blinds wasn’t working, there was a leak from the bathroom sink, and the shower was not fully functional. As in some parts of Colombia, running hot water and strong water pressure were not available, but you get used to it. If a hot shower is essential, I’d recommend checking with the hotel before booking. The small pool was great for cooling off in the heat, but it needed repairs. Several tiles were missing, leaving rough edges—I even tore a pair of shorts while entering the pool. Breakfast was very basic, so I often needed an extra snack afterward or an early lunch. Overall, the stay was just about okay, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The hotel is in a calm and safe residential neighbourhood with reasonable priced restaurants, grocery stores and even pharmacies. I could stay away from the vendors, the shouting crowds, bars etc. It is a perfect place for sleeping! The staff is helpful; they fixed my air conditioning when it did not work. The pool area enables evening and afternoon chill if you do not enjoy the crowded and filthy beaches. I will come back next time too!

The wifi was not stable so I had hard time having meetings during my stay. Since the pool area is quite small, if you are lucky to be a neighbour of a large company (as I had in my first evening), it can be disturbing. The staff starts the working shift sometimes after 6am to prepare breakfast, so you might wake up early in the morning. This was never an issue for me as I am a morning person on this trip.

Beautiful small and friendly hotel complex which is always pristine and immaculate. Attention to detail and personalised service for a small hotel is outstanding and well worth visiting this hotel over bigger hotels in Cartagena. Grat pool area if you fancy stay away from busy city centre. Breakfast was simple but tasty and well prepared. The whole team here are incredible! If you are visiting Cartagena and you’re in doubt book this straight away without hesitation. It is only 10min walk from the airport, brilliant location and 5 minutes by taxi to Muralla de Cartagena.

Very clean hotel with nice staff, the location is perfect if you're flying to Cartagena airport (8 minute walk). We got a very spacious room with airconditioning and a big bed. The pool is super refreshing, considering the temperatures in Cartagena. We weren't expecting a lot of this hotel because of the price, but we were very pleasantly surprised! We had a great time here. Also, there's more than enough places to eat and get groceries closeby.

I liked the room we booked originally (queen bed, pool view), though it was given to us starting the second night, as the previous guests staying decided to stay a night longer without advising the owners. The pool is small, but pleasant, and it is the perfect spot to start your day. It's a pity it closes early, however I understand this is done to avoid any type of disruption to other guests by guests that may think this pool is for partying, and I personally prefer quiet hotel surroundings. The breakfast is a little bit on the small portion side, but it is tasty and freshly made. Don Hugo, the receptionist in the evening is a pleasant and knowledgeable person to chat with and ask for advice about things to do in Cartagena. Room was well cleaned, I'd probably miss more water pressure in the shower. It is totally worth the price Vs what you get, and talking about distance, it is walking distance from the airport, 10-15 minutes walk to the closest beach and going beyond to Marbella, and a 15-minutes ride to the Historic Centre. We would definitely go back!

Things to improve: better WiFi speed, and channels availability in all rooms TVs.

The hotel is a 7 minute walk from the hotel. It’s in a great location. Loved that the room was spacious. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and freshly squeezed juice was a bonus. Loves getting in the pool before leaving the hotel. Reasonable pricing as well. Great experience and would definitely book and stay in the future.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff is amazing, super friendly. Great breakfast, cold AC, comfy bed with great linens. Great neighborhood full of great little restaurants, grocery store and nice pastries around the corner. Great internet. Walk to beach and beautiful running trail.

This could have probably been avoided if we spoke better spanish, but the eggs for breakfast are NOT free. Anyway, hanging a sign with this information and the price somewhere in the dining area would be helpful.

Very clean and spacious room and clean common premises, very helpful staff (they called us Uber, made breakfast earlier, because of our early flight, we could borrow the iron), WARM water, very QUIET air-conditioning, clean small pool, free good coffee during the day, pleasing sitting in the common place. Good breakfast. In general, we felt very comfortable and safe here.

Noise from the early morning (during cleaning and preparing the breakfast by the staff). Just few sockets at the room, badly situated. We had the apartment A1, directly next to the reception, and the window from the toilet / bathroom missed the glass (just mosquito net) - so no private for us.
