We had a great experience during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the location, along with the amazing views, made it even more special. The apartment was very spacious and the rooms were extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless, and the entire staff was friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. We truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it.

The only things we didn’t fully enjoy were that the pool closed quite early in the evening, and the elevators felt a bit small for our group of five. However, these were minor inconveniences and definitely not dealbreakers for us.

Laundry service available by staff at the hotel was convenient. Great breakfast but unsure if it was free or included in our hotel fee. Location was in a quiet neighborhood but we had to walk a bit to the main area. We were on the 15th floor so the view was amazing.

Not many essential items in the hotel such as paper towels, washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen essentials like oil, salt, sugar were not available so it wasn’t easy to cook anything. Luckily we stayed for only 3 nights so heating leftover food was okay with the microwave in the kitchen. Only a small soap bar for body wash in the bathroom. The pool closed at 6pm so we couldn’t enjoy it after dark when the heat was nicer to be outside. Didn’t know about the extra fee per day, per person to be in the hotel, like a resort fee kind of thing. I’m assuming it was to use the pool. Pool was also very small.

The apartment has a view of Cartagena's inner and outer bay. The apartment is in the center of the Castillo Grande neighborhood within walking distance of the beach. There is a store in front where you can buy basic food and drinks. The Carulla supermarket is approximately a 10-minute walk away. A basic breakfast is included. Although the apartment's kitchen has everything you need also. There is a large balcony, and the AC works well in all rooms. Plenty of hot water. The pool is small but clean, and there is a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view from the 20th floor.

There should be more bath towels available, and pool towels should be provided. A washer and dryer would be a great addition. Some maintenance is needed due to the high humidity (rust in the closet and damage to the drywall).

It’s really close to a wonderful beach. The morning breakfast was fine, scrambled eggs + a side + fruit + juice and cereal. The bed was very hard/firm but I didn’t mind. The AC worked extremely well, and it wasn’t a problem that it turns off when you leave, it cools down in a matter of minutes. Wifi was excellent, and the balcony is shaded most of the day so it’s really nice to sit and read/work/relax on. In a bit of a food desert so you’ll have to walk ~15 mins to any restaurants. The area felt very safe! There’s a military base nearby so I had no concerns. The view from the rooftop was great. I thought it looked better than the photos! I think the table and couch might be new, both were great.

Needs some general repairs and TLC. No hand-soap beside bathroom sink or shower mat so the floor gets wet. Main shower door didn’t really close and the rack was broken. Bathroom windows would rattle and shake quite loudly at night if it was windy. My only concern was on the last day a dog in the next apartment started barking and howling very loudly at 7am, and did so continuously until noon when I checked out. Seriously, it was continuous and very loud. It wasn’t a problem bc it was my last day, but it would have been an issue if I was staying longer and it continued.

There was only 1 elevator working, which created high waiting times. Cold water on showers Internet connection failed quite often Recommend a eye band if you cant sleep with light, as in the morning the bedroom got really bright

They give us only one key for the flat! The staff said that we could get another key next day. But it was a lie, so for me to get back to the apartment I have to ask on the reception and wait for someone to open the door for me. And I also avoid to go out by myself because I did not have a key to return to the flat. Very bad

It was a super nice and squeaking clean apartment, very well equipped and well situated. The staff of the check-in and maintenance have been very friendly and helpful and flexible.

We liked everything, just some minor things could be improved at the breakfast kitchen: things like hot water, some food items or milk should not run out during the breakfast time. The staff was very friendly though, so that weighed it out. There would really be nice to have some umbrellas at the swimming pool area during the hot days.

the rooms were amazing, huge terrace and plenty of room. Air conditioning was perfect! two small stores just in front but with everything you may need. Location couldn't be better, pretty quiet and safe neighborhood surrounded by the sea.

The room to take the breakfast was too small for the amount of guests. So, the line was long and there were no chairs to wait for the buffet. Plus, some toppings or other things like bread was eaten by the first people who got there and they took so much time to replace it.

Breakfast Could be better. The fact that they only give one key room is inconvenient. Also I don't like the Idea of waking around with the orange bracelets for the entire Stay. Those Bracelets looks like the ones they put on the Little kids at the water park. that is so ugly. (:

The nice enough apartment we stayed in here had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a living/dining room and a kitchen with basic necessities. In my opinion it needs a little updating but you cant beat the price for the accommodations. It was all very clean though, with lots of storage space for clothes and luggage. The large balcony, with an overhang from the balcony above, was accessible from both bedrooms and the living room and was wonderful! But it could get hot mid morning and windy in the afternoon. We had a beautiful view of both the bay and the ocean that you could also see through the bedroom's sliding glass doors. It was very quiet staying there aside from some street noise. The beach was just a block away and had lots of canopies set up to sit under, the sun midday could be quite hot. There are 2 small stores across the street from the entrance to the building which is nice because all the restaurants and grocery stores are almost a mile's walk up towards "town". We needed to buy coffee there as none is supplied in the apartment. A cab ride "uptown" in that district is about $2 each way, and about $6 for a ride to the walled city or the airport. Lots of taxis everwhere in Cartegena! The lobby door to the building is always locked so we felt secure and although the friendly guys who worked right there in the small reception area only spoke Spanish, they will call for a taxi if needed and always opened the door for us. There is no restaurant on the premises or nearby but a small basic breakfast "buffet" is provided on the 20th floor. Nothing special... scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee and toast served from 6 to to 10 but best to get there by 9, before the food is too picked over. You could take your breakfast to your room if you wanted, some days there were no tables available. It''s in a small room but it has a nice view of the ocean. The WiFi in the building was good most of the time.

No restaurants in the immediate vicinity but you could easily get a cab both ways if you didn’t want to walk the mile up to where all the restaurants and stores are. No washcloths are provided but they have nice towels.
