Nice hotel with spacious set-up and pool. Very friendly staff. Equipped for diving audience.

Be aware that the location is quite some distance from the historic center (although taxis are very affordable); the street numbering in different areas of Santa Marta is duplicated. The centrally located pool area can result in noise in the rooms, depending on its users.

The hotel is well located, the rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. We slept like babies ! Most importantly, the staff of this hotel is very kind and accommodating which made our experience very special. We are grateful for their flexibility, and their constant smiles!

Breakfast buffet was a bit simple and limited. Check-in was a mess with having to wait another hour after the already late 3pm check-in. This was because of guests checking out later.

Staff seemed genuinely interested in meeting my needs

There seems to be a disconnect between the descriptions of rooms that I booked vs what was communicated to the staff via the computer that caused some initial frustrations and delay getting the room I booked. But it was totally not the staffs fault and both they and we had to wait for things to get sorted out.

The location the staff very friendly Big room, one minute to the beach very close to the malls and shopping center the restaurant, breakfast and pool.

The facilities were very good, nice rooftop, nice pools and the staff were excellent. I absolutely recommend Karaya Hotel

The hotel was very closed to the beach, it was walking distance to the mall and many restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the rooms was clean.

Flies everywhere in the restaurant and patio. Low water pressure almost no water in the shower and sink
