The service in the hotel is incredible, all the staff are very helpful,attentive, and nice. The beach is stunning. The food and drinks are amazing. Highly recommend the steak at the mitra market and the seafood restaurant .The rooms are spacious and the beds are SO comfy. Room service/anything in the minibar is complimentary with the adults only package. Any excursions can be booked right by the entrance to the beach. The adults only pool is beautiful and relaxing.

When going to the beach the area to get a towel is far away from the beach entrance so it would be nice to have a towel/service area near that area. Also the adults only restaurant was closed for 2 out of the 3 nights we were there so never got to have dinner there .

Costa Rica is beautiful... and being in such a relaxing resort just made it better! The wifi wasn't great. It mostly worked. But the pool, room, location...spot on.

The wifi wasn't great. The steakhouse (La Sabana) needs a full makeover. The staff had terrible customer service and the food was awful. I won't return to this restaurant. Yuck.

Great choice of restaurants and the staff were really friendly. The beach and our rooms were well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. Magalar was amazing! Most restaurants were wonderful.

The staff needs to be clear on what is extra charge. Our friends sent us champagne to wish us congratulations on our wedding, but that message was never delivered. The communication is lacking a bit. In addition, staff should give Marriott elite members the premium liquor and other perks without asking. The spa is way overpriced for what you actually receive for treatments; nothing special there, really. We had to ask for room service and why on earth they think 2 bath towels is enough for 2 people upon checking in. Overall, we had fun but don't skimp on details.

Location is perfect. Beach is beautiful. Stuff is very friendly. Sunbeds, umbrellas, kayaks, boards on the beach are free, also you can take bicycles to travel around hotel for free. A lot of activities and animation. Good and cheap massage at the beach area.

It is not minus of the hotel but sometimes there were guys who give jetski for rent and some customers ride in front of the swimming people without any rules and it is very dangerous. Beach is not private and that is why these persons can come to beach. And as I understand they are illegal, because they run if police came at the beach. Hope that hotel with the help of police can solve this issue.

The resort is very close to the beach and the staff is extremely friendly. A good choice of restaurants. Speaks perfect english and will build a tour to anywhere you might want to visit in Costa Rica.

The restaurants that you have to reserve are not that great. They look fancy and the staff is friendly, but we didn't care for the choices there. We went to the Mitra Market for dinner one night and that place is outstanding for dinner. I'm not sure why the resort doesn't recommend that place enough for dinner. It's the only place for dinner and on our next visit , we will use that place for dinner alot more than the other restaurants. There were some bugs in the bungalow, not alot , but noticable. Not terribly surprising considering the resort sits in the middle of a rain forest, but just being complete in our review.

The staff was super friendly. After a couple of days, most remembered our names and preferences, whether it was in the many restaurants, at the bar, at the pool or on the beach. The Reserva Conchal is a real natural gem and the resort is perfectly located on the beach. We loved all the restaurants and the kids fell in live with the Mitra Market (self service with multiple booths).

Even better if: - the room bathroom was a little bigger / fresher (poor ventilation there) - there were only a few more activities to add diversity during the days (we had young kids so did not get to enjoy long evenings but live musicians where great!)

We stayed in Tower 1. I highly suggest getting a club room for extra amenities. Nelson and John were phenomenal concierges. The grounds were beautiful and easily walkable.

As an introvert, I wasn't comfortable going to the beach and having all the massage people come to me asking if I wanted one. Don't get me wrong. I hear they all do an amazing job, but it's not for me and I understand that's how they make their money, so I just didn't go back and I stayed in the resort grounds.

Upgraded to the Adults only area! This pool was great, many different restaurants to choose from and all lovely. Lots to do, ocean is good for swimming. Free hire of paddleboards, kayaks, tennis were all great.

Beach is not owned by hotel so locals offering jetski rides etc doesn't feel very relaxing, and somewhat spoils a beach that otherwise would be paradise. You can walk down further away from the hotel and it does improve however. Some of the restaurants struggled with Gluten free breakfasts but largely was ok.

Exceptional location for a first time visit. Great staff and amenities. Very good food and drink. Nice golf course. The Westin Club is where on the property to stay.

Some areas need repairs. Would like to be a little closer even walking distance to shops and other restaurants. People offering massages and knick knacks in the access to the beach. Expensive greens fees.

Excellent wide and not too crowded beach with easy access from the property. Good snorkeling from the shore along the north edge of beach. Food and service at the Asian restaurant was great. Mitra market is fine once you know what to get. Excellent staff great service all around. Grounds are beautifully maintained.

The actual bungalows and rooms are a little dated and look tired. Relatively few gluten free options in some restaurants. Pool ambience did not seem restful.
