I loved the ambiance of Villa Kalei; very peaceful. Wonderful after a morning of activity to nap by the pool or after taking dinner at one of the lovely nearby restaurants. Even though there were other guests, we rarely saw them. I loved the room too; very Zen vibe. Didn't want to leave! We also loved the outdoor kitchen; eating breakfast in the morning and looking for the monkeys in the trees. Geisha and Marcos are kind, gracious, and know a lot about the area and the country which was so helpful.

It would have been great to have a little table over the refrigerator to have a bit more room for snacks and drinks etc. but that's all I can think of! Truly a wonderful experience!

Our room was beautifully and stylishly decorated and was super comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower and private garden as well. One of the most magical parts of our stay was waking up to the sound of birds and monkeys. Marcos and Jeisha are wonderful hosts and gave us many helpful suggestions on food as well as local beaches and they are attentive and keep the grounds and villas immaculately maintained. Parking is easy and gated, the pool is beautiful and refreshing and Playa Grande is so much more laid back than some of the larger surrounding towns. It was just what we were looking for! I look forward to another visit to Villas Kalei- we will definitely be back!

We loved this property and had no complaints!

This property was everything and more…it was beyond our expectations. The grounds are stunning with perfectly thought out landscaping, a beautiful infinity pool, a shared kitchen and private, modern villas with a spa like bathroom. The property is so beautiful, impeccably clean, very chic and welcoming. The hosts were amazing and kind with excellent local recommendations and made us feel right at home. We would return just to stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer. What a perfect stay!

Couldn’t recommend Villas Kalei more. It’s really well located but also tucked away from any noise, other than birds, monkeys and other nature. The rooms are so well thought out and private but build with and around nature. The couple who run it were so lovely and really helped us with everything we needed. Great value for money and would definitely look to stay with them again

nothing - it was awesome. worth noting that you need transport of some kind if you stay there. we didn’t have a car but we rented little escooters through a company Villas Kalei recommended and it was so useful and fun way to get around playa grande

Nice, quiet, nice design, friendly, good to have part of a common kitchen, nice area and small beach village nearby, nice little warm pool, friendly owners. Perfect 4 days for us.

Just to say it's probably best to have a car. It got very bright at 6 inside, so we followed the sun and went to bed early. That was very good for us. The bed was not very wide so my companion slept on the sofa-bed, but that was comfortable.

The serene setting, impeccably clean villas and beautiful landscaping. The hosts are very hospitable. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Playa Grande area.

Every single detail on this property was lovingly co-created - it is absolutely beautiful and pristine.

The design was perfect. The owners are very nice people, really had a good time with them. Gardens are great. It was soooo clean we could not believe it. Super relaxing time even though we were working it seemed like a vacation.

The location was very close to a wonderful beach. The people were very friendly (locals and visitors). Some very good restaurants, in the area.

This was one of the best accommodations in our whole stay in Costa Rica. The villas are super nice and have everything you might need. The common areas and pool are beautiful. We were able to truly relax here. Thanks Jeisha and Marcos for having us!
