Breakfast was exceptional, perfectly sized pool, strong A/C, 5 minutes walking from city center and beach, and the staff were eager to help you with anything you need. I am a "type A" planner, and I always worry about booking travel and accommodations. With this one you don't need to worry about anything! I can't say enough about this small hotel. There was nothing lacking and I loved all the hammocks, bamboo designs and the house iguana. Truly felt like you were in Costa Rica and not another standard hotel.

Wonderful, small, secluded hotel (in proximity of the main things, but quiet and not on the main street). Loved the pool - wonderful for a morning or evening dip. Exceptionally delicious breakfast with a variety of mostly European/ American options. Very friendly staff. All in all we had a lovely stay! Especially Steven, who was the waiter during breakfast on our first day, was super friendly, welcoming and helpful 🙏🏻

It seems that the owner of the hotel was at the property, while we were there as well, and at times we could hear and observe business conversations about some challenges, rather critical feedback to employees etc. in open spaces of the hotel. While the tone was alright in itself and it is of course the property of this kind sir, these frequent one-way feedbacks to the employees made us feel a bit tense / uneasy.. personally for us it would have been more relaxing if such conversations were taken in the office behind closed doors (if need be), especially when the hotel area and pool area are not so large and one can hear these conversations clearly.

It was the first stop on our honeymoon and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was great, we especially loved the free coffee and complimentary breakfast. There was construction that woke us a bit earlier than we would have liked but it prompted us to get out and enjoy our day! Would definitely recommend everyone to stay here. The bungalow was very cute, clean and modern. Beds were firm but still comfortable. The location was perfect, it was quiet and we saw monkeys close to the hotel. Thank you for having us!

this little hotel have very nice rooms. Everything was well working and charming. We did not have breakfast included and we did not use the swimming pool, but all the area was nice, well kept and the parking was easily available. A special remark to the staff: I had the misfortune to forget my mobile in the room.....they contact us when we were already on the road, far away, so they supported us in organizing a shipping of my mobile to our next stop, next hotel. Everything was perfect and I got my phone. They staff was extremely nice and helpfull.

this property was fantastic and perfect for what we needed. The pool and lounge area is adorable and well styled. The room is comfortable, cute, and spacious. I like that there was plenty of space to put clothes and plenty of shelving to unpack. The bed was also super comfortable. The air conditioner worked fantastic and the staff was extremely friendly and super helpful with whatever we needed. I liked the location because we could use the gym next-door and we could easily walk to the beach, the local restaurants, and the local grocery store. Our room also had a refrigerator which was convenient for snacks and drinks.

My only complaint about the property is that the breakfast that is included stops at 9:30 in the morning. As someone who likes to work out in the morning and/or walk on the beach (and also likes to enjoy night life and sleep in while on vacation) before breakfast, this was a very inconvenient time and I think the breakfast should go until at least 11 AM.

Excellent, cannot recommend it enough. Stayed for two weeks as a female solo traveler and felt safe. Stayed in a bungalow which was very clean. This boutique hotel had cozy communal spaces. Breakfast in my opinion is the best value for money in town. It is close enough to everything by foot, but far enough from the bars etc to be quiet, which was perfect for me. The hotel is located a little from the center like 5 minutes walking distance and that we liked a lot, because it was guiet. There is a main building and a few wooden bungalows. There is a nice size swimming pool with pleasant area to relax and read. The entire property is fenced and you can hear and see howler monkeys in the mornings. Incredible experience. The room we got was big enough and clean. The breakfast was mega delicious and the staff was very nice and helpful. We love it there and we will choose the same hotel if we will go there .

This was the very first time to Costa Rica and even though we only had a day and a half to stay there due to business we enjoyed our stay the hotel was amazing it was in a good location. The correspondence prior to our arriving was absolutely excellent. They arranged for us to have a shuttle pick up at the airport and delivered us back to the airport Henry at the front desk and Melanie at the kitchen shall I say we're excellent everyone spoke very good English and they were very helpful for anything and everything we needed.

Justin and Freddie were so nice and helpful during our stay! The room was great, very clean, the pool was nice and shady, the breakfast was delicious! It was nice to be a few meters away from the busier area of Tamarindo, it was nice and quiet and we always felt safe walking around the area.

The water supply was cut a few times during our stay due to lack of water supply in the town. Not the hotels fault but was inconvenient at times.

Arco Iris is a wonderful place to stay in Tamarindo. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and lovely, and the staff is so kind and helpful. I had to leave early one morning at 5am and they even had breakfast ready for me to go. The location is perfect - close to everything but just removed enough that it’s quiet at night. Nice pool and lounge area too. I booked this place last minute and was so grateful to land in this gem!
