Close to the centre, quiet location, staff were pleasant. Nice spacious unit with efficient A/C and a super comfortable bed. Small kitchen and a fridge which is always a bonus.

The pool area is pretty bad - unless you have one of the units that go straight out on to the pool there is not really a place to just relax. No big deal for me as I just went for a quick swim each day but if hanging out by a pool all day is your idea of fun then you will find much better in Tamarindo. WIFI was atrocious but I think here it is really the luck of the draw....many bars and restaurants were the same where I tried to work. The kitchen was badly equipped and all I really managed to do was make coffee - again not a problem for me as I ate out.

This space was very clean with plenty of space for one person during my 5 day stay. The balcony was perfect for breakfasts or evening drinks. The location was on a quiet street which was perfect for me, but only a 5-10 minute (slow) walk to the main downtown core and the beach. Toiletries included hand and body soap. I would book this place again.

The wifi was strong in some areas of the studio and not in others. The kitchen in the studio was limited for equipment. Kitchenware included silverware and a spatula, and plates, bowls, cups, glasses. Cooking wasn't possible for me. There was a microwave, an electric frying pan/deep fryer and another cooking appliance but not sure what it was or how to use it. The staff only spoke Spanish, which was fine for me, but may be a challenge for others.

Pleasant staff, always responsive on the booking.com reservation chat. Room well organized, kitchen with all needed for me. Quiet A/C. Quiet location, few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants, as well as the beach or bus station. I didn't have the time to try the pool. Balcony had nice view and had a quiet breakfast there daily. I enjoyed and extended my stay.

Water issues from time to time, but I managed. Some holes in the floor. Weekend price was a bit high.

Place was really nice, staff was friendly and attentive, the room was fully stocked with cooking utilities, the AC and ceiling fan were good too. Last but not least, the balcony was good and has a great view to the city

We stayed with our little dog; dogs are not allowed in the pool neither in the pool area, which is fine because my dog doesn’t like to swim but had to left her in the room to take a little swim

The apartment was really cool inside which was a great respite from the heat. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very dark. The location was good as still really close to everything but far enough away it wasn't noisy which it must be in the places closer to the centre of town.

We were really excited about swimming in the pool but it was so dirty it looked like a pond! The rooms were quite small so it was a squeeze to get down the side of the double bed.

We totally loved this place. Perfect studio, with balcony, air-conditioning, kitchenware, fridge, private bathroom, awesome shower, Flat-screen TV, very good Wifi signal, terrace, astonishing swimming pool, etc. We only stayed one night but we would have loved to have stayed 2 o 3 nights more.

We only found 2 downsides: The parking was not a private parking, just a spot in the street, so it was not totally secure, although we didn’t feel insecure in any moment. The street was not paved Price per night is a little bit expensive. There are other cheaper options around.

I stayed in a room overlooking the street. Had a nice big balcony and the room was cool, even on a hot day without the air con. HEAPS of electrical outlets. Kitchen has a coffee maker, a rice cooker and an electric frying pan. Cutlery, utensils, plates, bowls, coffee cups and glasses included. Excellent shower. The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute walk, and a further 7 minutes walk to the beach. Fantastic value for money.

Unless you're in a room with the pool view, there aren't any chairs to lounge on by the pool. So, if there are guests staying in those rooms, your only option is the concrete. The cable reception is dodgy - full of static, with no options to connect your PC. Would have loved somewhere to hang my clothes (a chest of drawers is provided) and a place to put my toiletries in the bathroom.

Great stay, good location! Quiet area of town but not too far away. The balcony was very nice and a great place to enjoy a meal. Recommend this place for sure!

The room was a bit dark. It was good for sleeping but felt a bit gloomy during the day. There was also a bathroom window without a curtain and it was exposed to the stairway of the room upstairs. Recommend adding a curtain there for more privacy!

The location felt like a very authentic Costa Rican experience. We preferred this over a hotel because we really felt like we were part of the local community.

Lack of hot water. But it was so incredibly humid the cold shower felt nice.

Room plenty big enough, lovely pool, basic cooking facilities and large fridge/freezer. Lovely staff and large balcony where you see birds and wildlife. Quiet location and close to modern Vindi supermarket

Bit too much wildlife in room for a while! Got better lol. Waterproof cover on mattress was hot and uncomfortable. If you’re without a car, it’s a hot, dusty, steep in places and rough road to get to the hotel from Tamarindo and beach.
