Overall a beautiful resort. You can see macaws flying overhead on a daily basis. The golf course has lots of wildlife as well. We saw many tropical birds, Iguanas and a Capuchin monkey.

The resort didn't have any lounge chairs at the beach. The water is murky, and there are apparently crocodiles in the ocean, coming from the river inlets. The beach was not usable. Some of the staff can be a bit short and less than enthusiastic about their jobs. Others are very nice. For the price of the resort, there should be better staff training.

Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of room, and facilities. Surrounding nature is gorgeous.

Beach is not very suitable for swimming, restaurants could be cleaner.

The gardens are just amazing — full of nature, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax without crowds. The daily activities are a most. Great! Our stay was made even better thanks to our room cleaner, Diana Navarro. Every day she went above and beyond, leaving the room spotless, creating beautiful towel decorations, and making sure everything was perfectly comfortable. Her effort and kindness truly stood out and made our stay unforgettable

The black sand and stones are not my favorite but the property the Marina and pool area compensates it

I loved that the property was so well looked after, very green, lovely swimming pool, I also used the gym (there is a hot tub, sauna and steam room in the female changing room - which was great). I appreciated how friendly everyone was - genuinely makes the difference and makes you feel welcomed. They have a playground and a kids play room indoors - you have to sit there and watch your child, so not a classic “drop your kid and enjoy your cocktail” scenario, but my 2 yo loved it and so did I. We stayed in room 203 - the view was gorgeous.

Would be nice to have sun beds on the beach itself. Otherwise the property is great. Also, I personally didn’t like the food there - out of all the restaurant I preferred the one near the lobby, breakfast and the restaurant near the pool wasn’t very tasty in my opinion.

The Hotel was really nice. The rooms, the facilities, the pools, amenities, everything was nice, what you would expect from a regular resort. The service was ok, it has been better an other places I have stayed in Costa Rica, but again , this is what you would expect from a resort. The food at the restaurant was very Americanized… I honestly would recommend you to drive to Jaco and go a plethora of better restaurants with more affordable and authentic food( which is what we ended up doing after being disappointed with the food the first day). Overall it was a nice stay, would I come back? No Would I recommend my friends and family to stay here? No

Service Food

This is a very kid-friendly property and is a great place for families with children. The highlight for my daughter (age 6) was the kids' club and playground. They also have nice free activities organized each day for kids and adults. The staff were exceptional. I had a 90-minute massage at the spa and it was a stellar experience all-around. For our budget, it was a little expensive, but all of the amenities and services made it worth it! The morning breakfast buffet (which was included in our rate) was excellent as well, as was all the food at the different restaurants (there are several and there is a lot of variety).

The beach was poor.

This was a fantastic hotel for my trip with my little daughter. The hotel is huge and the pools, offerings and beach were amazing for us. For my daughter and me it was a wonderful time we spent here. The enjoyed the beautiful sunsets at the beach or on our balcony. The staff was very professional and kind.

The selection and quality of food at the restaurant was ok but we looked for a bit of a fine dining experience. This we didn't find. Would be the only thing the hotel could improve as food selection was very American.

Everything was perfect and exceptional. The staff and hotel were great. The only comment I would make was the bed was uncomfortable (a little too firm for our taste), so a good night's rest was a little difficult. However, the rest of the experience more than made up for that discomfort. Everything else was amazing, thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The property was gorgeous, clean, and relaxing. It was close enough to get to Jaco and excursions with a short Uber ride, but still felt remote. Food at all of the restaurants was tasty, we tried all except the steakhouse. Golf course was lovely, one of a kind.

Things were all about 10-15% overpriced, from golf to food.
