Close to the airport, shuttle experience was great. Modern facility with hip design, including a small but lovely pool and great poolside side bar area. The main restaurant is great and they had an incredible 3-piece band playing Friday night. If you don’t want to eat at the restaurant, there’s a fun food truck area with great options. We had low expectations staying at an airport hotel, but we really enjoyed our stay! The staff is so warm and friendly, too—would definitely use this hotel again!

We ordered some Bao Buns and a panini at the pool bar and they were terrible, almost inedible, except we were starving. The main restaurant seems amazing, so not sure how that works. The drinks were excellent, though.

The hotel is gorgeous with art placed throughout, lots of holiday decorations, and a rooftop pool/bar with spectacular views. It is conveniently located near the Juan Santamaria Int. Airport. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant, and a very nice breakfast is served there in the morning. All of the staff we met were friendly and conscientious (special nod to Genesis at check-in and Kristy in the restaurant) There is a free shuttle to the airport every hour.

Leonard (front desk) made us feel at home from the moment we stepped foot on property. He was so kind offered suggestions for car rental return, dinner and answered any questions we had regarding our stay. The hotel was very clean - beds were so comfortable -bathroom is modern with sliding door, with a super powerful shower. Neat out door area on property with a variety of food trucks that would satisfy all of your food cravings.

We could hear the people in the room next to us and especially while in the bathroom -they weren’t yelling - just having a normal conversation. Walls are a bit thin. However, this would not stop me from recommending or staying at this hotel Again.

Bed & pillows were so comfy after driving 7 hrs, we decided to spend a little more to sleep well before flight. So clean, modern. Was also very quiet which I loved! Wish I didn't leave at 6am to catch my flight. We went up to 4th floor, pool/ bar area was lovely to watch through world cup final soccer match. Wld stay again for sure!

New property... enjoyed the ancillary stores supporting your property... excellent restaurant in Pura Brasa, but expensive. The paella and the pork ribs are "out of this world delicious".

(1) I was charged for BF, when it was included in my reservation. Then it took forever to get it straightened out with your Staff. (1a) why is your BF so expensive, I failed to see the value add in your BF? (2) why is Wifi not free? (3) Go to the Hilton so you can see what real bedsheets feel like

I liked the cleanliness of the whole hotel. I liked that all of the amenities in the room functioned correctly. I appreciated the politeness and friendliness of the reception staff.

I disliked the asking price for the breakfast, it was almost double a typical meal price in every other restaurant I visited up until the time of writing this review. The only other thing to note was that the shower door leaked slightly making the floor potentially slippery, but I don’t think this is a huge deal, just a downside to the “wet room” design, which is otherwise favourable.

Breakfast was laid out beautifully. I have stayed at the Marriott Belena resort previously and the food there was kept much warmer. Everything here was cold. Would appreciate ability to order fresh eggs.

Floor in room was dirty. Could be cleaner. Bugs all over terrace. Shd be swept before entry or provide a broom in the closet.

Airport shuttle was waiting when we arrived and the driver was really friendly and knowledgeable. We only stayed one night as our flight had been delayed and we had to book in SJO last minute. We were looking for something convenient and comfortable and it met those requirements perfectly. There are food trucks and a supermarket and pharmacy outside as well as a nice restaurant in the hotel itself. We used the gym which was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The pool was outdoors so we assumed it would be heated as we visited in what is classed as "winter" in SJO and it was actually v cold so we couldn't use it.

Probably one of the most wonderful hotel experiences I have ever had. Beautiful architecture and decor, mountain views, and excellent service from the staff. Everything was over the top. They offer an incredible breakfast spread (with many, many juices). Pool/bar area is very luxurious. Adjacent to several shops, a spa, grocery, food truck court (very nice, with a large, collaborative patio area, and restaurants. Also very close to the San Jose airport. We will return to this magnificent hotel again!

A microwave would have been nice in the room but everything else about this hotel was absolutely outstanding!

Modern. Cool set up. Good variety of meal Options. Staff at bar was great and the front desk leader / manager was very attentive.

As a matter of feedback for the hotel I think all employees need to be less robotic and more empowered to resolve customer issues.
