10 minutes drive from the airport so perfect for beginning or finishing your trip! Staff were very friendly, place was immaculately clean and in a very safe area. About 5 mins walk away there is a little area with some very nice bars and restaurants too. Some of the nicest food there. Room was huge, we had a king size bed each :) You can get an uber into down for around $7 to explore San Jose and it's about a 30 minute ride. We will stay here again when we leave Costa Rica :) There's a nice, clean looking pool but we were too busy to use it. Also, breakfast was offered but there's a lovely cafe called Moose just 5 minutes walk away we recommend to get breakfast. The French toast there is my personal recommendation.

Clean chill place that would cost so much more in the states. Relaxing. Very clean. We rented a care from the Panama border. Drove all the way to San Jose to fly back to the states because the plane tickets were so much cheaper. The rental drop off happened to be very close to the Hotel. Gas station very close for the fill up. Food, walking distance. Besides they had and excellent kitchen for guest use. 24hr airport shuttle from the car rental place. Was the easiest exit we ever had back to states. TRUMP 2024!

Just an overnight to be close to rental car return and airport to avoid San Jose traffic. Place was sparkly clean and nice but we only spent a few hours there and didn't have time for breakfast. Gated courtyard for the car was nice. The staff was kind and helpful. Abuts a golf course so that was interesting.

Would have liked a luggage rack or two. If we were staying longer would have appreciated some more closet or dresser space, but we only did suitcase storage. Will need to navigate steps for lower or upper level floors. (no lifts)

Friendly and helpful staff. Immaculately clean. Excellent breakfast. Short drive to the airport. The hotel arranged a shuttle bus to collect us from the airport (additional charge) which was very smooth. It’s peaceful with large comfortable rooms. Nearby is Cariari Plaza, a sort of shopping centre/ mall with several restaurants and a supermarket.

Nothing. It’s in the suburbs if you want to go to downtown San Jose, is about a 20 min taxi/ uber.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the pool and surrounding area. We appreciated having a fridge, too. The Wifi was good and staff was friendly. The location felt very safe and there was a strip mall maybe 10 or so minute walk away with a lot of food options. We also walked to the casino :)

The pool, which was one of our reasons for booking, closed at 6. We arrived at 5 PM the first day and couldn't use the pool since it was closing soon. Very early for a pool. However, the next evening a large group was still in the pool at 7:30. We felt annoyed that we were told we couldn't use the pool but that group was allowed to stay late. Also, the water slide and other water features were all turned off. The hot tub is not heated, so its the same temperature as the rest.

Check in staff were very friendly. The pool area was quiet and beautiful to sit around and read. Beds were comfortable. Good Sized Bathroom with very nice shower. The air conditioning unit made a peaceful white noise sound that blocked any outside noises quite well. We were very happy with our one night stay.

If you need to leave early for the airport in the morning it's best to stay on the ground/top floor because those two rooms are right by the front entrance and easy to get your luggage out to the shuttle. There is no elevator and it's a long set of stairs to the one floor down, which are the rooms around the pool. The "top" floor rooms have no views.

Great place to relax. Beautiful pool and gardens. Comfortable rooms and very clean. Good location right between Samara and Nosara (30 minutes to both) with great beaches like Playa Buenavista and Playa Barrigona nearby.

Unless you have a 4-wheel drive that can go through a creek (in the dry season) the longer road to the town of Samara is about 35-40 minutes. Limited close restaurant options apart from the hotel (but the food there is good!) No hot water in our bungalow-not sure about other rooms.

The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. We felt very welcomed, and they were genuinely great hosts. Answered every question, including the ones not related to the facilities (e.g., shops, city access, etc) Breakfast was great. Transfer from the airport worked seamlessly. Close to the airport and has parking, which is a gem.

If only they had (more) rooms with single beds instead of doubles. It is hard to book for a group of travelers who are ok to sleep in the same room but not in the same bed.

I liked that the restaurants nearby were fabulous to walk to. It was safe to walk at night two women. We were able to book a nail treatment and had a great experience with the local nail and pedicure place. We were treated like queens.

The main chef who was a woman had a scowl a lot. She seemed very controlling in nature. I couldn't make her smile. I know she works hard, however it felt a bit like we were stepping into her territory when we walked out of our room.

We stayed here for a short night just before heading to the airport again. The car was safely parked on premises. We had a quick swim in the pool which was nice. The hotel was quite and felt a bit empty, Staff was friendly and explained us how we could leave the premises early morning without staff on duty. We booked the family room which was comfortable. It was a practical location to stay when you need to return your rental car and have an early morning flight.

We had a light, moist, mouldy smell in the bathroom.
