Breakfast options are awesome. Heated pools were amazing as well. Easy to get there and location is pretty good. We enjoyed a lot!

The towels that are at the pool are not refilled constantly. At once we were at the pool, my wife went to the lobby to ask for more towels TWICE. We waited for around 15 minutes and nobody came. My wife then had to go to the room for two of those towels. Keep a close eye on that. Also, the windows in our room (external part) were incredibly dirty.

Hotel was close to Multiplaza Mall - within walking distance. Contains four restaurants on site with one open 24 hours, 24-hour room service and a full spa and hair salon/barber. Rooms are big with Byredo amenities. Full catering hotel service, staff are accommodating, helpful, and respectful. Hotel has an on-site atm, gift shop, and pool.

Pillows were very soft so required multiple pillows for comfort. Rooms needed to be air-conditioned because of humidity generally in San Jose, sometimes wanted a cool fan instead of a/c. Ac took time to cool as well. Only viewable hotel facilities are available on the TV, but no requests can be made via the TV except by calling reception. Could not view spa menu or restaurant menus on the TV. Just information on the restaurants and the facilities were available for viewing.

The price of those cans in your fridge. Really hard to understand why a can of Coke could possible cost $5. Breakfast cannot even be compared to that nice one we had in Tamarindo Diria.

The location Escazu is a very nice place to live in. The room was big spacious clean I love the pool sitting poolside was so fun. I love the live music at the lobby it was so romantic being with my partner there I'll always cherish it. The beds are very comfortable.

The market's food unfortunately screwed up my order my seafood was raw and I had to pay the whole thing It was the first time ever i ever had to send food back in my life. I thought it was only a thing in reality tv show.

The information provided at the lobby, no recommendations, no help with inquirings; There was only one person every day the entire day doing his best but overloaded with all.

I requested my room to get cleaned, with the sign on the door, and was told not today. But then I asked again to the same lady, she said someone would come. I had the sign up for service, not sure what else to do.

Extrodinary personal service by staff - especially the service staff in The Market restaurant there. Great reception staff and exceptionally service oriented door staff.

It’s a very good hotel with all the amenities and a good SPA. I accidentally left some of my things in the room and they kept it for me and gave it back the next day!

Everything was great!

Intercontinental was fantastic. Location was just across the street from the beautiful mall at Escazu and my favorite local supermarket. The hotel restaurants were exceptional. We tried the lobster factory, the local market restaurant and the Italian restaurant. All three exceeded our expectations. Staff was very friendly. We took advantage of the breakfast every morning and the happy hour in the evening. Both were served close to our room, which made for a very comfortable stay.
