This is our 5th visit to Hotel Marina. We look forward to coming every year. I love the comfortable beds and nicely sized rooms with the balcony, superb breakfast (all of the meals are good but breakfast is my favorite), and the proximity to the beach. The staff is also friendly, often wishing you “dobre dan” in the hallways and always helpful reception!

It seems there is a focus on attracting families who have children. The number of children’s activities (clown, sing/dance, etc) and the food choices on offer seems to reflect this as well. It can be a challenge to relax at meal times (kids are unaccompanied to the buffets, which tends to correlate with spills, unsanitary behavior (this year I saw a child lick a plate and then put it back to the stack of clean plates), or running through the buffet areas, to name a few.

Location cannot be any better - the beach is so near, also restaurantas and market. Everything is tidy, clean, all the stuff is kind. Breakfast and dinner were rich, really a nice mixture of different dishes. The room was quiet, also air conditioner worked just fine, not to loud. There were lots of parking spaces in front of hotel (although it costs 11 EUR per day but OK).

The only minor minus was that it was not possible to dry towels and bathing suits. For rooms without a balcony, an additional stand in the bathroom would be welcome.

Great location, cca 50 meters from the beach. The food was great, both breakfast and dinner. All staff members were very kind and polite, and the kids programs were cute (our baby was too small to participate, but loved watching).

We were not satisfied with the cleanness of the room: there was dog fur all over the floor which was especially inconvenient with a crawling baby. We also had ants. The dinner started quite late at 7 pm, for small kids that’s almost bed time. We were surprised by the parking fee (15 eur/night). It is indicated on the website, but we missed this info. And the kids pool could be ameliorated. It is quite small and uninteresting, and tiles are missing from the bottom, so can even harm kids with the sharp edges.

The buffer breakfast and dinner was amazing. The family room was big and comfortable, with a separate space for the children. Bathrooms were spacious and clean (although the dehumidifier did not work). Inside spa is good, also the inside swimming pool.

One elevator for the whole huge hotel and it was also extremely slow. A/C is extremely loud and also did not really cool the room. Dinner starts late, at 7 pm and only lasts until 9 pm. Queueing for food everyday. Hotel bar is extremely expensive. The swimming pool is very small and not too clean.

I stayed at the Marina Hotel for 10 days. It was a really fantastic vacation for me. I must highlight the exceptional appearance and decoration of the hotel. I especially emphasize the tidiness, neatness and cleanliness of all premises: lobby, atrium, corridors, staircases, public toilets, gym, bar, restaurant - and of course my room (thoroughly cleaned and ordered every morning). The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, kind and competent: - receptionists were always nice and at my service, offering advice and answers to my inquiries and questions. It was a pleasure to communicate with them on a daily basis; - waiters and waitresses were very friendly, polite and quick in providing service; - restaurant is a special story since the chefs prepared numerous delicious dishes each day for everyone's taste. From the vege and vegetarian dishes, fish specialties, pasta in various ways, to the large number of meat dishes. I have to emphasize a particularly outstanding salad bar in the central part of the restaurant. A really large and varied offer of salads, again for everyone's taste. I have to admit that I enjoyed these salads every day. That's why I have to express special gratitude to the chefs. Sincere compliments on your work; - last but not the least, special thanks to the cleaners and housekeepers for the maintenance of the hotel premises and especially the neat keeping for my room; - finally, I have to mention every evening after dinner charming performances for the numerous youngest guests. The kids enjoyed very much dancing with performers, playing with clowns, watching different attractive acrobats etc . Although I did not have the opportunity to meet, I want to express praise and admiration to the hotel management for organizing, keeping and sustaining really very high level of service and accommodation in the Hotel Marina.

Everything was perfect!

A very pleasant small hotel, in the lobby and wellness there are vaporizers with pleasant aromas. Neat and clean rooms with modern equipment - kudos to the cleaners. Extremely friendly staff. The food is fresh and deliciously prepared, as well as beautifully presented. The indoor and outdoor pools are well-kept, clean and inviting. In short, a very nice and pleasant stay was ensured.

This is by no means a scolding or a negative remark! Maybe the hotel's exterior atriums could be arranged a little more, as far as the green areas are concerned. Additional watering, arrangement of bushes. Now it is nice, but considering the excellent interior of the hotel, the excellent staff, the surroundings could be added. But there was no trash or litter anywhere. Just a little more attention on the green areas.

The room was nice and spacious, and the breakfast and dinner were tasty. However, you must arrive at the restaurant early to catch the entire offer. There are plenty of hiking trails in the surroundings. The personnel was extremely helpful.

According to the hotel plan, we obtained one of the largest rooms available. For that - many thanks. But in such an excellent room, they have built the connection doors!!! They have spoiled the whole goal of the best room in the hotel since you hear everything from the neighbour's room—from talking to all-night voices! Additionally, the best places in the restaurant were reserved for groups, and the rest were for individual travelers. An unfair separation of the guests where I suppose we have paid for the accommodation more as the groups.

Putovali smo sa pesekom i kućnom macom i nije bilo nikakvog problema. Bookirali smo standardnu sobu a kad smo došli ponudili su nam malo veću sa balkonon, što nas je zaista ugodno iznenadilo. Ponuda za doručak je zaista izvrsna a sva peciva su sviježa i ukusna. Za razliku od nekih drugih hotela koji formalno primaju pse a u biti ne žele ih vidjeti ovdje zaista cijene i poštuju kućne ljubimce i nema nikakvog problema! Bar radi do 23 sati a mi smo došli u 22:50 misleći da će nas odbiti poslužiti jer za 10 minuta zatvaraju ali, nisu, ljubazno su nas poslužili! Osoblje je zaista fantastično, ljubazno, i spremno pomoći. Porcije u restoranu su vrlo ukusne i nisu skupe a najljepše nam je bilo sjediti u vrtu vani gdje se može piti i jesti. Imali smo sobu koja gleda na brdo i na prekrasne cedrove posađene ispred hotela.

Više toaletnog papira a ne samo jedna rola.

We really liked the location, close to the see. Also the walking possibilities even with children (like walking up to Moscenice). And you can buy ice cream, coffee or other foods around the hotel, this is perfect. Both the breakfast and dinner are very fine

In the restaurant we receive drinks for free. This is good. I only would like to have something that is not very cold drink. Maybe you had it and I just missed it. Anyway the restaurant was perfect as usual

Clean rooms, GREAT FOOD ! , super close to the beach. Friendly staff, especially 2 lovely girls at the kids club ! Our daughter 9 loved their activities! Basically, you leave your kid with them, and when it comes back, all it talks about is how an amazing time it had with them ! The beach outside the hotel is always crowded, but if you continue walking towards the Coco bar, you will find more space :) Great place for families!
