We stayed at the hotel from the end of June to the beginning of July – a total of 7 nights. At first glance, the hotel doesn’t make a big impression, but everything changes once you step inside :) The hotel is located on a hillside that leads directly to the sea. The views from both the rooms and the restaurant are absolutely stunning. We were welcomed by the front desk staff – smiling and helpful – and we received a room with a beautiful view of the bay, with palm trees just below us. It was amazing. The room was quite spacious for this category – we stayed as a family of two adults and one child. Every room had a balcony with a table, chairs, and a drying rack. There was also a small fridge in the room. The bathroom was spacious, and the individually controlled air conditioning worked well and wasn’t too loud. The pool overlooks the bay and is more for relaxing than swimming – water temperature was 29°C :) The only downside of the pool is the finish of the floor and walls – it’s made of a stone-like material that’s unfortunately quite rough, so it’s easy to get scraped if you’re not careful. On the pool level, there’s also a bar with snacks – the staff there was very friendly and helpful, and the quality of the food and drinks was good. From the pool, stairs lead down to the sea, where you’ll find a large concrete platform with sunbeds, umbrellas, and another bar. Entry into the water is via ladder – be aware that it’s quite deep right away. On the water, there’s an inflatable playground for both kids and adults – it’s free for hotel guests, just grab wristbands from the front desk. Our stay included breakfast and dinner – and unfortunately, this was the weakest point of our experience. While the first few days were great, with a variety of products, fish, and meats, from July 1st – the official start of the high season – the food quality noticeably declined. The selection became more repetitive and, in our opinion, lower in quality – which was a pity.

Our holiday at this hotel was great. The room had amazing view as the whole hotel. It was just stunning. was not so many people there which was great for us- no problem with the sunbeds. The food was very good a lot of choice for the breakfast as for dinner, seafood everything was there. The beach was stone, but was very quiet and peaceful. We were with our 5 year old daughter so the pool was more comfortable for us. She loved it. Every evening was short program for the kids. It was nice. For Croatia you can't want more. Would come again any time. Parking is 17 euro per day, but they charged us only half of our stay which was very kind of the guy on the reception. And which was the best even with a lot of kids in the hotel, in the room was very quiet, you didn't hear anything from the room next door. That's rare in the hotels. We loved the holiday on hotel Ičici.

One waiter at the pool bar he was just lazy or I don know what was wrong with him, gave me a wrong bill, other day left my ice coffee on the bar for 10 minutes, it was like water. On the kids menu was always apple missing. And the drinks at the bar could be much better. They were not good at all for that price what they charged. The drinks were was just cheap. So we simply didn't order anymore. The only good one was the sangria (glass of sangria) , but for 9,20 that's price like in Saint Tropez.

Room was spacious, modern and clean View from the room was beautiful Location was perfect, close enough to the centre of town but far enough to be peaceful Great pool The "beach" area was lovely and so close to the sea and the inflatable obstacle course was great fun. Wish the slide had some water running from the top to avoid burns! Breakfast was varied and generous and quite delicious, particularly liked the honey Staff were very nice and the cleaning ladies were efficient and did and excellent job Bed was comfortable and bedsheets were nice

Availability of day beds near the pool and near the sea was poor, even on the 2 mornings we went down before 10, we could only see beds with towels on them, indicating that they were taken. Tried to book the kayak trip at the reception but was told I had to go down to the activities team but sadly by the time we came back from dinner they were all gone.

I had a really nice experience at this hotel. The pool area and private beach were lovely, and the poolside menu had some great options for a quick snack. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast and dinner were fairly standard but always had something tasty to choose from. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and its location is perfect – very convenient and scenic.

A couple of downsides: the parking is quite expensive, and at times, local kids were entering and using hotel facilities. While that’s not a huge issue when the hotel isn’t crowded, it can be a problem during peak times, especially considering it's not a budget hotel.

We really liked our room — the view was fantastic. The area around the hotel was also great for walks. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean throughout. We had half board, and both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and fresh.

However, during our stay, four tourist buses arrived in front of the hotel, and the guests from the buses began eating, drinking, and playing music there. Their vehicles blocked the entrance to the parking lot, but we assumed they were only stopping briefly to rest. Unfortunately, by dinnertime, it became clear that they were staying. The restaurant, which had previously offered a calm and pleasant atmosphere, turned into a very busy and noisy space. This significantly impacted the dining experience, which we had otherwise really enjoyed up to that point.

Beautiful hotel, amazing view of the sea, kind and helpful staff. We really loved the modern look of the hotel, and the cleanliness of the entire premises. The room was clean and modern, and the hotel was so kind to prepare a special surprise for us as we visited during our honeymoon. The hotel has a kids club, outdoor swimming pool, ping pong table, and gym. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would recommend to anyone!

During our visit in mid May, the staff informed us that the hotel was still on central heating and it would only change to cooling mode a few weeks later. This meant that there was no cool air conditioning in our room, and it was quite warm and stuffy. We had to leave the balcony window open throughout the night to allow the cool air to enter our room. Other than that, it was an amazing stay and would definitely recommend anyone to stay!

We liked the hotel itself. The room was huge, clean and modern, the bathroom also. The staff is kind and polite. The spaces are spacious. The pool is also fantastic with plenty of sunbeds. The air conditioner was extremely quiet and very efficient. A huge plus point is that the consumption of drinks at dinner was included in the half board.

Small thing, but the towels were changed every day, which we thought was unnecessary. They were not on the ground, but hung up. Waste of energy and detergent. (Others may like it that way.) Compared to a 4-star hotel, we found the dinner poor. A few main dishes, several side dishes. The dessert section is even less. Only whole fruits, no fruit salad (only compote). Overall, however, it was positive.

The hotel is well equipped with lots of amenities and a good entertainment program for kids. The room was spacious and well equipped with an astonishing view. The food is very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is great - right next to the walk path connecting several nice towns along the coastline. There is a good sea access platform typical for the area but also a small pebble beach nearby.

The parking should be free for the price tag of accommodation and considering that there is enough parking space in the hotel's garage. The quality of service and drinks differs much between pool bar and the beach bar - pool bar staff prepares properly garnished and served cocktails while at the beach bar they are simply mixed and served in plastic cups.

We like the location, the sea view, the stuff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day.

-Smoking is allowed right next to the children's pool - pool's bar and everywhere outside - swimming pool is not very clean -Slippery and dangerous stairs to the sea at the beach -Noisy restaurant, it is more like a canteen, choice of starters is after 30 minutes very limited -breakfast is every day the same, if you stay longer, it could be a problem

All rooms are with balcony and a splendid sea view, big clean room, marvellous lobby bar, location perfect, walking distance to Opatija center (25-30 min walk)

17 euros per day for car parking is a bit too much. Room: A small shower shelf would be nice for personal shampoo etc. Beach: Curtain is not a good solution for the changing cabins at the beach, even the mildest blow fly them. Furthermore, you need hangers when you get in with your towel and dry swimming suit to change.
