The location is perfect - secluded, but an easy 15 min walk to Volosko, which has good restaurants and where the Lungo Mare walk starts. The hotel is small, but has all the amenities one could ask for. The views are incredible from the large balconies and the rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. The beach area is very inviting and thoughtfully designed. The water is crystal clear and is beautiful to swim in. One of the highlights was the great breakfast - from fresh fruit to home-made breads and pastries, everything was delicious! Probably the most outstanding thing about this hotel was the service - the staff went to great lengths to accommodate our requests and was always eager to help!

I liked everything about this place - it’s perfect!

Navis is a boutique hotel with only 44-rooms. We stayed in a 1-bed suite on the 4th floor which is the top floor. The room is spacious, has a king-size bed, industrial modern style furnishings and an outstanding view of the sea. We had a bottle of Prosecco, water and a lovely bowl of assorted fruit awaiting for us in the room. I chose to include breakfast with our stay and it was incredible. In addition to the breakfast buffet options like bread, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, assorted juices, coffee/cappuccino fruit cups, prosecco, etc. Navis offers a separate menu with prepared to order options like omelettes, Eggs Benedict, avocado toast, sausage, etc. also included. See menu photos I included in my review. Breakfast is incredible and the chef/kitchen is very accommodating in creating options for dietary restricted guests. We had two vegans out of five people in our group and both were happy with the dinner meals that were prepared for them and the food available for them at breakfast. Lastly, which was pretty cool, our family in Croatia was able to pick us up in their boat from the Navis dock. What was truly impressive is a Navis staff person came down from the hotel to assist with guiding the boat to the dock and lend a hand getting us into the boat safely.

The ONLY thing was having a room key attached to a small block of wood. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owner’s sons, Filip, who explained the Navis = Ship concept and if a key were to drop in the water it would float because of the wood. Anyway, a key card or app based room key system is in the works.

Hotel Navis is a truly magical place—perched like a ship above the sea, with every room offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic and the soothing sound of waves echoing through the air. Waking up here feels like floating on water. The architecture blends effortlessly into the landscape, combining modern design with natural beauty. What makes it even more special is the incredibly kind and attentive staff who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. A peaceful, elegant escape I’ll never forget—and can’t wait to return to.

First of all was the friendliness and attention by all the staff which was first class. Breakfast was a pleasure and often lasted well over an hour with no limit in orders for coffee or cooked items. The views from the balconies out to sea were excellent. The rooms were comfortable and well provisioned. For the first visit we had suites which included walk in showers which were exceptional.

I can honestly say I really cannot think of anything that could be improved.

I loved it all! From the check in till the check out!! Clean and designed room with a personal touch- champagne and fresh fruits on arrival/nespresso/coffee/milk....The Spa was absolutely worth it! The lady who works there is so nice and very professional! Her aromatherapy massage was a dream!!🥰While there,don t miss out on their restaurant!! Delicious fish soup and homemade tagliatellas with shrimps made our evening!! Breakfast a la carte! What do you need more!! Greetings to the staff at the reception! You re all amazing!!

It is a beautiful hotel just above the sea with splendid views over the bay. The breakfast is delicious - you can order a variety of delicacies. The location is perfect if you'd like peace and tranquillity from the crowds. It is about 10 minutes on foot from the centre of Volosko, the closest village with bars and shops.

The room's lighting is very subtle, and I missed a good reading light. It is pretty impossible to read in the room when it gets dark outside.

The staff are exceptionally nice , the service is amazing. Rooms are clean, views are spectacular from the rooms. We wrote a comment after booking asking for a high floor room and our request was taken into consideration. The beach is really nice to swim in with plenty of space through a combination of beds and bean bags . Breakfast is also amazing with a combination of ordering from a breakfast menu along with an open buffet. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay and will definitely come back again!

I liked everything about the property. The view was amazing. The room was spacious and clean. The food was excellent and the staff was so friendly and helpful The only negative for me(and perhaps older travelers) was the bathtub. It was difficult to get in and out of safely. Perhaps a lower tub would help or additional grab bars

Beautiful as the pictures! The locally sourced dining experience was excellent, and the staff expertly guides you through the menu with local pride for sourcing and preparation. The staff care for the guests. The little beach and deck made easy access to the water and SUP’s and kayaks by the hour allow for coastal exploring. Easy walk to Opatija where we are one dinner.

We visited the hotel for the second time, this time in the high season, when crowds can be expected in Croatia - which you can easily avoid with a well-kept and remote hotel beach like the one offered by Navis. 💙 The hotels design is perfect, all rooms have a sea view. Every morning, in addition to the breakfast buffet, there is also an exceptional a la carte menu available - for all those like us, who like to enjoy a good breakfast with a large selection of goddies and a stunning sea view. Kudos also to the extremely helpful staff (Hrvoje, Ivan, Robert...). 🙌😃 All in all it is a beautiful hotel that offers everything you need for an ideal summer vacation - just book it😎😌

We missed the bike room, but otherwise you can safely store them in the hotel garage.
