Wonderful two night Hotel stay in the sea view room. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a central and good location. I received a handwritten note and chocolates in my room which is a really nice and personal touch which I appreciated. The woman checking us in, I think it was Anita, was so friendly and helpful. A great asset to your hotel as overseas visitors appreciate a welcoming, friendly face. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great selection of food and the staff there also friendly. There is a restaurant however we did not eat there but food looked nice as we walked past. Was provided with parking directions and instructions beforehand which was great as may have been a little difficult to work out. Ample parking spaces in a parking lot behind hotel.

This place is so beautiful . The hotel is a well renovated palace and has the charme of bygone times. Everything is perfectly organised and the staff is lovely. We had a beautiful room with seaview and enjoyed the restaurant two times, which I can recommend in off-season, when not everything opened yet. If you arrive by car, ask for advice to find the garage, it is a little bit complicated, but if you once found it, it is very convenient to have a parking space there. I just loved it to stay there.

Excellent location, the building gave us the sensation of Austro-Hungarian classic fitted to modern days.The room was clean,had everything we needed. Plenty of good restaurants around to have dinner. Above all, the staff did everything and above for us, to feel like home Thank you Patricia and Anita for everything!!! And now about the breakfast: 3 stars hotel offered a 5+ stars hotel breakfast , thanks to Tanija!! Tanija, you are amazing!! All in all, good value for money We recommend it, really good place !!

No things that interfered with our stay.

We stayed for one night in a sea-view room and had a great experience. We were lucky to get a room with two separate beds, just as we wanted. Upon check-in, we were welcomed with champagne, which was a lovely touch. We also got a complimentary late check-out until 1 PM, which was fantastic and really helpful for us since our transport from Opatija was later in the day. This allowed us to rest after being out all night for a concert. The room was clean and nicely furnished, with a balcony offering a genuine sea view. Breakfast was also very good and included in the room price. Overall, everything was excellent and we truly enjoyed our stay.

There were no drinking glasses in the room.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with cold fresh water and perfectly sparkling Prosecco. Mrs. Patricia at the reception was highly professional and she ensured our stay there to be pleasant, comfortable and unforgetable. She was even happier than us finding the best room for us, with a small balcony with a view to the sea. The room was spаcious. The bed was big and very comfortable. In the bathroom were available all the amenities that anybody can need. Mrs. Fatka was responsible for the great cleanness of the room and for everyday change of the towels and bedsheets and arranging our room. She was very helpful and extremely pleasant. The breakfast was wonderfull with big variety of food. Location was great, close to evrything, to the beach, restourants, supermarket, pharmacy, bus station. I thing we liked Opatija so much due to the our stay in the best hotel there. We will come back for sure.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The staff was amazing! Some of the most helpful staff I've ever encountered! Big props to them. Location is great, rooms are large and clean and the bed was comfortable.

The shower had very low water pressure. The minibar was empty.

Hotel has very good location, breakfast was very good. Rooms are bih and with high ceiling. Old and impressive building. The coffee shop below is very nice and with nice terraces all around hotel. Staff is super nice and useful.

Hotel is a bit outdated. There are no clean markings how to get from hotel parking ( paid parking for 25€/day; BTW penalty for parking on street is 25,5€) to hotel reception. Quite confusing. Bed mattress is too soft ( personal opinion). Rooms are a bit boring. They could use some touchup.

Staff is amazing and hotel is in right place just in center near the sea

Everything! I love an old grande dame hotel (that has been updated/renovated). The rooms are spacious, with tall ceilings, the hallways are wide, and the atmosphere and decor are gracious and welcoming. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have had in a long time! The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The staff, especially Anna, are top-notch. The location is excellent, and there is a paying garage in which to park.

Centrally located in Opatija.

Breakfast not included in the price. Did not eat at the hotel. Air-con did not manage to get the room down to a comfortable temperature. Our room was not in the main building but in adjacent building. I was charged for city tax (Euro 12,-) at check out. I had already paid for tax when I booked through Booking.com. I will get back to Booking.com in a separate communication.
