The hotel has a nice view to the sea and it is few walking minutes to the beach. It has terrace on the front where on some nights they had live music. Breakfast is various and rich. The personal was very nice too.

Parking…well parking is an issue from what i saw everywhere in Opatija. The hotel has a parking place in an abandoned yard or something. The place looked a little suspicious, but they have video surveillance, and it s safe to leave your car there. Parking is not free, it costs @20e/day which is a good price for Opatija, but to be honest I was expecting to have the parking included in the room price, or at least to be mentioned somewehere on the hotel description

It is not a 5 star hotel, do not expect that style and service. It is a 4 star hotel and except for parking it meets that level for a hotel. Our experience with staff was very positive. We booked a superior room, but our room was on a corner and was different than the pictures on Booking.com., much more roomy. The downside was it was on the side where the garage construction is happening, so construction noise would have been our morning alarm had we not already been awake and moving. The room and bathroom were clean as should be expected. The interior of the hotel is well appointed, although not Grand. There is a good amount of conversation and sitting space. The room that is used for the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet is very nice. The breakfast buffet was good, but not an overwhelming level of choices. We did not have dinner at the hotel, so cannot comment on that. In conclusion; is it the best 4 star rated hotel in Europe I have ever stayed in – no, however much nicer than many.

Parking; but an issue for all of Opatija. The hotel only has a few actual parking spaces to let, so do not expect to get one. I had hoped to park in the public lot that was immediately uphill from to hotel, but now it is only a hole in the ground where a new parking garage will be built. One day we were lucky to find a street space where we could actually figure out how to pay. The next day I located several spaces, but could not figure out those meter systems. So 34 Euros for overnight in a garage.

The staff at the check-in/reception and at the restaurant was very kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. The room was spacious, with a very comfy bed and a clean and nice bathroom with a bathtub. The minibar was nicely and fully filled. The cleaning service was super. The location of the hotel is central and it has the "K.u.K-Flair", which is anyway typical of Opatija. Park Angiolina is just accross the street and so is the Lido -if you can afford EUR 70 per day for 2 sunbeds, 2 towels and a bottle of mineral water plus a fruit bowl. If your budget is more limited, Plaza Slatina is also close-by, max 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel Bristol has a nice bar with a terrace.

The central location is a bit of a disadvantage from parking point of view: the hotel has a parking place but it´s an open courtyard cca 5 minutes away from the hotel. Unfortunately there´s no gym or any other recreational facilities (sauna, spa).

I stayed at this wonderful hotel in the city center, which exceeded my expectations with its friendly staff, sparkling cleanliness, and cozy rooms featuring plush beds. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options. Plus, the team went above and beyond to accommodate our extra requests, making us feel truly valued. While parking is a couple hundred meters away and can fill up quickly, the hotel's many positives make it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of the city.

Excellent , cosy hotel in the very centre of Opatija. Has all the facilities needed.Lovely, professional and smiling staff, great coffee bar and brunch area, rich breakfast. Highly recommended!! Very nicely renovated 1906 Building with high ceilings throughout. The old grandeur is definitely alive and well here. The architects of the extensive recent renovation have resisted squeezing in more rooms and extra floors keeping the rooms very spacious. Public parking is 50 meters away. The sea view is truly unobstructed from the higher floors.

Lobby is designed for summer use with open access to the terrace, it is somewhat restricted in winter.

Location is just perfect, and so is the breakfast. We had a really big room, which was clean and very much enjoyable.

We were very disappointed regarding the parking. It says on the page that the hotel has a parking, which costs 9,5 EUR per day and it can't be reserved before the arrival. When we got there, the receptionist said their parking is full and that we need to find one the street, which cost us 20 EUR per day.

Very friendly staff, very clean, spacious room with spectacular view from balcony (4.floor) and a fin de siècle flair, large breakfast variety (buffet style). Broken mattress was swiftly replaced upon request.

It was surprising for a hotel of that category that the mattress was dysfunctional (there was a dent in the middle from being too long in use). However, it was quickly replaced the next morning upon request.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach getaway! Beautiful old but renovated hotel. Amazing location. Great very pleasant staff. Spacious room. The view was ok but we booked night before and it was the last room. Very nice and clean bathroom with Rituals cosmetics.

The concept of breakfast is good but We came later and stuff was missing, serving spoons mixed, coffee machine didn’t work, we had to set our own table with utensils.
