The property was in the most perfect location - right along the sea front and a few minutes walk from the main “life” of the town. I had a sea view room and it was stunning - I couldn’t get enough if it. The room was very comfortable and a very good size with plenty of storage. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff were lovely! I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Literally nothing - I was really happy with everything. If I were to really think of something, I would have loved a kettle in the room so that I could have a tea/coffee on the balcony and enjoyed the view but that is literally the only improvement that I can think of

The room was very comfortable and clean. Enough space to enjoy and relax. Breakfast was amazing, a high varierty of fresh food and ingridients. The hotel is located in the city center of Opatia. Lot's of restaurants and caffes nearby, all within walking distance.

There is no fridge in the rooms. Parking provided by the hotel is very limited. When we arrived everything was already reserved. So you either have to park on the street somewhere (25€ per day), or in a nearby public parking garage (30€ per day). The hotel has its own beach, but eventhough you are a guest you still need to pay for sunbeds (25€ for 2 sundbends and an umbrella per day).

Nice hotel right by the sea. Good breakfast buffet and restaurant. Nice rooms with very good ventilation and cooling. The restaurant staff were attentive and helpful towards us as we were traveling with a baby.

It seems like there was water dripping below the toilet’s sink and that is were the clean towels were kept. They were all wet. It was unhygienic. It took some time both on check in and check out at reception. There is no parking at the hotel. We needed to take the car to nearby parking garage. The streets are one way and you need to drive circle around to get in and out.

Newly refurbished hotel that has very simple yet esthetically pretty and Scandinavian like lines and colors of the furniture. The bathroom is again simple but with just the right amount od space and options. Very comfortable bed and a nice teracce. Terrace door could use some renovation but thT is the only thing that I could find that could use improvement. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the breakfast is served in a very nice room overlooking the sea. Very well exposed food and variety, it could almost pass for a 4star. The location is very central and the beach is below the hotel. The price was very appealing. I would definitely reccomend it.

basic things are missing from the room: glasses to drink something, tissue, or for example a small fridge (the bar in the hotel is not really open, so if you want to drink something you need to buy, but you cannot keep it cool..). Our room (206) was the closest the reception, and you could hear everything what is happening there from 6:00-6:30 in the morning - so not chance to sleep longer.. The beach close to the hotel is ugly, full concrete everywhere - maybe someone likes it...

The hotel has excellent location, 2 mins walk from Opatija centrum and the beach as well. The hotel is newly refurbished and beautiful. The room was very spacious and had an amazing seaview - just like the pictures. They cleaned the room every morning! The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and has a great variety - although it is the same every day.

The receptionists English language skills are not so good. Same breakfast options every day. There is no direct way to the beach from the hotel - although there is a door on the sea level, it's just not open, so you have to take the stairs. It could be more convenient for the guests to open that door. Hotel Kristal's beach doesn't provide discount for sunbeds for Hotel Lungomare's guests, and there is a cold stream coming from under the hotel, therefore the sea is way colder than anywhere else. We went to another beach from the second day.

The hotel was easy to reach from the bus stop. It overlooks the sea, although my room looked over the main street and a corner of the sea. I really liked the breakfasts and meals. They were good, and also, sometimes solo travellers don't want to sit alone in a restaurant in the evening so I appreciated this aspect here. The hotel fittings are obviously new, of very good quality and signage and essential information is all well displayed. I would happily come back to this hotel and to Opatija - loved this little town and the Lungomare seaside promenade.

Nothing, actually. But I was here in shoulder season (September), so didn't experience the hotel or town overwhelmed by service requests.

The hotel, my room, and the staff were lovely, professional, and pleasant to deal with. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.

The surrounding external perimeter and sidewalks were filthy and should be hosed down daily. I would have liked a restaurant or snack bar on premises; a soda / water vending machine, at the very least. The comforter was too small for my bed. It seemed child-size and didn't fit my bed comfortably. Also, complimentary beach lounges with umbrellas available for hotel guests would be an extremely gracious gesture. Daily early morning yoga classes should be offered seaside; the platform decking would be absolutely perfect!

The room had beautiful antique French doors that opened onto a balcony overlooking the sea. What a treat to walk out to that view! We loved the historic hotel and appreciated the modern conveniences and comfort of the king-sized bed. The breakfast was an amazing buffet with many delicious options in a lovely dining room with large windows looking out toward the beach and the sea beyond.

I was sorry that we were only able stay one night!

Hotel Lungomare exceeded all expectations. The location is perfect—right on the Lungomare promenade and close to the city center. The hotel is spotless and recently refurbished, with cosy room, comfortable bed and beautiful sea views.
