The property itself appears to be brand new and well maintained. We booked an “Executive room with sea view”, which was the only one left available and that fact should have raised our suspicion. What we’ve got was a two room, two bath apartment with no balcony whatsoever and sea view for anyone taller than 1,8m. For anyone less than that, the chair beneath the window became a totally new meaning. Two double-beds were prepared although they knew we’re a party of two. In no way that room deserves its designation and we made that clear to the reception. They promised to get in contact whenever an alternative shows up – we never hear anything back from them within the six-nights stay. But to remain fair, the gap in our expectations were the only oddity with the room – clean, functional and nice beds. The same can be said about the entire property – great spa and fitness, nice beach facilities und diverse restaurants. Mostly friendly staff but the service is far below what you’d expect from a Hilton and by the money spent. A little drizzle and the entire outdoor pool area has been closed and the staff ambitiously tried to scare the people away from the beach in order to close that too – what they finally did. Ordering something at beach restaurant is an interesting endeavor too: you handed over a couple of times until someone finally had enough compassion to hear your wishes only to get a lesson in what is considered food you allowed to order – for ice cream a coffee you’re thrown out. All-in-all we had some relaxing days here. Read carefully what you’re buying and assume nothing because of the brand and the money you spend. As first impression counts, we certainly not coming back and you may also raise the question if it’s worth the money. But you may also catch a lucky hunch and depending on what you’re used to, may experience your greatest stay ever – we just felt being pulled over the barrel by a questionable description of the room.

Very poor service with extreme young people not the bar and restaurants on the beach. Should pass a much stronger and better quality education in order to work on a 5 start resort.

Booking places on sunbeds with towels is the first thing, for me it is vulgarity and lack of culture. Ukraine and only shouting and noise on the beach instead of relaxing, they shout loudly,

The view is spectacular. Nature, beach, rooms, bed comfort everything is great. Location is super. I definitely advice you to visit here.

Food quality, diversity and taste could be better.(kitchen restaurant) Also service quality of workers is not in 5 star hotel standard. Some workers are really nice but my overall experience was not satisfying .

At this price point, i was disappointed to find hidden costs everywhere. Parking was outrageously expensive, there was a paid tier for wifi, even spa lockers were 50 cents to use.

Most likelly the best restaurant in Croatia is located on top floor of the Hotel.

20 min wait on the reception for checking in. Empty mini bar, if you want it to be filled, need to pre-order, never experienced that in Hotels of such category. 20 eur daily parking fee. 200 eur deposit for using Hotel services on room charge.

We stayed at the Hilton Rijeka and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the rooms are – more like full apartments, which they call villas. The design is very modern, the bed is comfortable, and the air conditioning works perfectly (a real plus in Croatia, where that’s not always the case). The views are stunning, and the spa and sauna facilities are excellent. Breakfast is a highlight, with a generous buffet offering plenty of choice. You can even park your car right next to your villa, which is incredibly convenient. We also enjoyed the on-site pizza restaurant. The beach is a stone beach but still very nice, with clear water. Overall, a modern, comfortable, and well-thought-out stay with great amenities.

The only small improvement would be adding cushions to the sunbeds for extra comfort.

If I should name this Hotel I would call it “The light Hotel”. Light is the star of this “movie”. Light of the amazing landscape you can see, light reflexed by the sea, light mirrored by the glasses of the building, light entering the spaces inside the hotel, light coloured in a infinite ways of tones and changing moment by moment. So light creates a show in a continuous changing during the day but also the night, with good weather or not, during the day or the night. It’s a spectacular experience with no price. That’s why I recommend a “deluxe” room that are on the higher floors (I did not try the villas …). For the rest everything ok, very clean as you can aspect from an Hotel of this kind, beautiful and very big SPA (swimming pool with water quite “fresh” in my opinion but probably perfect for swimmers …). All the Staff very very kind, anyone taking care of your needs. I was here in December so only “The Kitchen”restaurant was open plus the Michelin star “Nebo”… In the first one the breakfast is served, an other experience… for the good quality of the food and the great variety … by the way waiters passing through tables offering glasses of “Prosek” … So no doubt: this Hotel is to be visited, may be better when temperatures are not too high to enjoy all the spaces and the terraces offered by the place (April, May, June… late September, October). WiFi perfect, parking ok (we left the car to a valet Parker… very nice and kind guy, no extra charge for this “help”…). Room wonderful, one wall is all glass, it seems to stay in a boat … even if in the toiled no bidet …(in such a kind of hotel structure a small lack in my opinion). Room has everything, from slippers and bathrobe, to iron and ironing board, kettle and … coffee machine with capsules replaced every day if used… No way: you must try this amazing Hotel, for me it’s a 10 “Cum Laude”.

Really liked the room and the view from the balcony. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Fantastic private beach which was very accessible. There is a bus stop outside the hotel which takes you to Opatija or Rijeka.

The outdoor areas would benefit from more greenery, it was very white/ concrete like. The juices at breakfast were terrible, I would expect a hotel at this price point to serve actual juice rather than a syrup juice drink. Drink prices were unreasonably high so took the enjoyment out of having a beer by the pool. Parking is very expensive- 30€ per day.

- The sea view - Room size is good and bed is comfortable - breakfast selections and quality ( even if is repetitive during all the 9 days , not much alternative options ) - Cleanliness everywhere ( very good for this point ) - Nice outdoor and indoor pool ( even if open too late and close to early )

- Dinner buffet mains were ok but not that good. ( surrounding area has much much more restaurant options to offer, eat almost every time outside the Hotel ). - parking garage is a bit narrow and has to be paid ( 20 Euro a day ). - The staff is a little bit slow, and looks not very well organized...too many in some area and confuse service, ( not up to 5 level sat hotel, need better Management training ). - limited pool area seating ( many guest reserve the seat using towels), not very good control/checking by the management. - TV has not many programs in English ( beside news channels ). - Only 2 chairs and a table on the balcony ( not any sun bed available in our Villa room type ).
