The hotel is one of the few cases where my expectations were exceeded. From the moment we entered the hotel and checked in, the reception staff (Mr. Bono and Helena) were extremely friendly, as well as during our stay. This is a great rarity nowadays. In addition, The rooms and bathrooms are large, clean, bright with a great view. Mrs. Paula Loncar, the hotel sales manager, personally asked us several times how our stay was going. The reason we visited Opatija was my mother's 70th birthday. In this regard, on her birthday, she received a large chocolate cake as a compliment from the hotel. The services offered by the hotel were diverse, far from the standard lounges and taxis, such as a boat trip, a tour of the city with a retro car and many other nice and interesting services that one can remember for a lifetime. Well done to everyone, I hope there are more such places not only in Croatia, but why not in Bulgaria as well. I definitely recommend this place, it will leave a great memory in you for a lifetime.

It was a wonderful couple of days, I really enjoyed myself. We chose the place randomly, and I was a bit worried about going with the kids since it seemed more romantic than a classic family-friendly hotel, but the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Every day they had a kind word or a thoughtful gesture. It may seem natural, but it really isn’t, and I truly appreciate that.

It’s not really necessary since the area is full of great restaurants, but having the option of half-board wouldn’t be a bad idea for those times when you don’t feel like going out. That said, the chances of that are slim, as the town is truly charming and inspires you to explore.

The hotel was great, the staff were very accommodating when we asked to move room as the first room was too hot. Being able to use the pool at the hotel next door with a massive bonus! The room was cleaned daily and comfortable.

It seems a shame to use the beach you have to pay so much extra as a hotel guest (unless you book through their website direct and it’s included in your package). It would be good if there was also free available water and fruit like there was at the pool in the hotel next door. We paid extra for the chefs special menu on one of the nights which we didn’t really love, the food wasn’t amazing and it was quite pricing.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the center of Opatija, with direct access to the Lungomare walkway along the coastline. Upon arrival the check-in procedure is very relaxing and friendly. We were offered a free Prosecco, while the receptionist took care of all the paper work. All employees in general are very helpful in case of questions and always very friendly. Underground garage is spacious and you have direct elevator access to the hotel rooms from there (note that you pay directly with the hotel at a special rate).

The hotel is not cheap and you pay for the direct seaside location and view. There is no gym in the hotel, you need to go outside to the hotel next to it (both hotels belong together) to use their gym (which in turn seems part of their wellness spa, which comnes at an additional cost). At least it was possible to use the treadmill for free (on days with better weather you can of course go jogging outside along the lungomare). The underground parking costs 25 euros per night, which is pretty expensive and there is also no reduction or cap if you stay several nights. The breakfast is another 25 euros on top. We did not have breakfast there, however, but went a bit up the hill instead. There are nice cafes along the main street, offering coffee and croissants, or other options.

We could not fault our stay while we celebrated a couple of special occasions in our family. The hotel even provided us with a nice bottle of sparkling wine and cake to celebrate! We had access to the newly renovated pool at the adjacent Grand Hotel, which was wonderful. The rooms were clean and spacious, plus our stay included a wonderful breakfast. Paolo at reception was also very helpful to in providing directions to the many attractions of Opatija. We look forward to our next visit soon!

Nothing, everything was great!

We stayed in the hotel 7th time. Always satisfied. Now we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. And the service was unexpected. At the check-in we were offered prosecco until waiting, we received a cake and a champaign in our room, on check-out they did not allow us to pay for the parking, as there was a construction next door, and there were difficulties to access the parking space. The communication and the client service of the receptionist made our stay fabulous.

It is new, it was clean and beautiful. The beach was probably the best one in Opatija. The view from the hotel is really great.

The staff - disoriented people. Not well trained. They woke me up even when “no disturb” sign was on the door; they told us “we do not have free sun-beds” , but in reality they did have and things like that. The bar -restaurant at the beach is bad. They do not have available even normal tea. The service was slow.

My 10 points for all as it’s a really wonderful hotel! All was perfect, starting with hospitable check-in, accompanied with a glass of Prosecco, provided by charming Paola, continuing complimentary chocolates in the room and ending the general positive impressions from the Amadria and its services. We arrived really early (11 a.m.) but were given a nice corner room with a sea and patio view, equipped all necessary things (a cattle, free water, tea, coffee, robes for going to beach etc.)The hotel is the only one in Opatija with separate access to the sea. Swimming was very comfortable, deck chairs were convenient, we really enjoyed relaxing! The staff was very positive and helpful, thanks to Paola for early check-in and Anna-Marija for help in reserving a table at “Bevanda”. And special thanks for the souvenir after check-out! We will definitely come again!

The staff were exceptionally lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much and they bent over backwards to help us. The hotel itself was lovely and the food was delicious. I had a divine steak in the hotel restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable with a balcony and sea view.

The only thing was that the sea "pool" is right by a little harbour with boats coming in and out. We made some recommendations about easier access into the sea and non-slip flooring in the showers and they were really appreciative of the feedback.

Outstanding hospitality, everybody from reception to the restaurant was so nice and helpful, food and drinks were delicious and unique, all services are at the highest level. We truly enjoyed our stay and we are definitely coming back!
