We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Bonavia and we must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel location is superb, offering very convenient access to a variety of restaurants and shops. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual bite or a fine dining experience, everything is just a short walk away. Additionally, the beautiful sea view from our room added an extra touch of tranquility to our stay. Our room was not only clean but also featured a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. The attention to cleanliness was evident, which always enhances the overall experience. The breakfast served at the hotel was another highlight. It offered a nice selection of options that catered to different tastes, ensuring everyone could find something to their liking. Lastly, I cannot commend the staff enough. They were polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcomed and valued. In summary, Hotel Bonavia exceeded my expectations with its prime location, comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfast, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant getaway!

Location. View from balcony. You can walk to most of the tourist areas that are filled with restaurants and shops. The breakfast was pretty amazing.

Very difficult to get luggage up the two flights stairs. One outside and one after you get out of the elevator. You have to park 5 blocks away. There’s a security gate at the hotel entrance that’s super hard to get them to open it. I would not stay here again. You have to get out of your car and leave your car sitting at the security gate and go inside the hotel, which is pretty far away from the gate and ask them to open it and then you go walk back out to your car and then they don’t open it. So then you have to do that whole process again. The entire check in process was so difficult and so inconvenient. I would never stay here again.

The location is right down-town. The room was of a good size and provided all necessities. Staff was helpful

The parking spaces are limited outside the hotel. We were lucky to get a spot arriving early. Not sure what people should do if all the spots are taken. Being downtown there isn't much parking facility. Breakfast had a good choice however it is maybe one of the worst coffees I ever had in a hotel. I personally do not like to have carpet in the room. Doesn't give a clean feeling.

The hotel is well presented, the top floor offers rooms with a terrace and the early morning sea view alone rewards the stay. The room is large, bright, and there is space for a sitting area with a sofa and television. The balcony is perfect for relaxing with what's on offer in the minibar. Spacious bathroom and various bathroom gadgets are provided by the hotel, not to be taken for granted.

The style of the hotel is somewhat dated. There are few plugs in the rooms for connecting one's own devices, perhaps only a couple where there is a desk. Nothing near the bed for example.

Its central location - the room was spacious and comfortable- housekeeping efficient - receptionists very friendly - breakfast abundant - a l a carte restaurant offers very good service and good food

The lift is too small as it does not hold more than 4 persons. When a large group arrives for check in or check out , use of lift becomes congested. The wellness and spa are also a bit small.

We liked everything, there was no issues. The perfect location, everything you need is in the near. The room was big. The breakfast was great, so many options and very good quality. We loved it and would come back to Rijeka only for this hotel and the amazing food in Rijeka itself.

Large room, good and varied breakfast, close to the city center.

Quite small bathroom, few toiletries, I think they have problems with ventilation, the windows could not be opened, the sun is constantly beating in the rooms and you cannot stay without air conditioning, which is not healthy to be used constantly. Although it is an old hotel with tradition and the rooms have been renovated, the need to refresh the rooms is felt.

Top central location - within maximum 10 minutes reach to most of the attractions. Professional, polite and friendly employees. Perfectly set up air conditioning which was very important at the time of my stay.

On the day of my arrival the towels in the bath were not really clean. Issue was resolved the next day. I would also describe the overall design of my room as slightly old fashioned.

Location in the center of the city.

I prefer to have tea and coffee kit in my room, but it wasn’t. Sometimes there were some troubles with car park place in front of the hotel and need to park the car in city garage.

Noises from outside clearly audible on 4th floor. Little tricky to get to parking area, needed to wait until someone looks the monitor and realizes to open the gate…
