Everything was fantastic about the property. Staff, cleanliness, close to the sea. Great restaurants.

It is located in the city center. It is also really close to Lido Beach. The Hotel is really elegant, we loved its atmosphere. The staff was kind and helpful. We rented a parking place of the hotel (although free space is not guaranteed at the day of arrival). The breakfasts were really good, the dinners were fine. We had a wonderful view to the sea. Our room and beds were really tidy.

The air conditioner’s efficacy was low. Some foods of the dinners were not that delicious as expected. Nearly all the early mornings (6 AM) were noisy because something was done nearly every day (street cleaning, etc.)

I loved the staff. Bar staff lovely and helpful. My cleaning lady was sooooo kind. I always left late, and she knew within 2 days to come a bit later. Room ok. Very friendly and helpful front desk people too! Great breakfast. Lovely cakes and ice in bar.

The dinner was pretty bad. Overcooked fish, meat and pasta, undercooked risotto. A real shame to mistreat beautiful produce like that. I was really upset about the gray looking swordfish. 🥺 The hotel needs some maintenance had a leak spot on ceiling in bathroom....room 506. Outside window frames in need of a link of paint, but i'm a realtor so might be a little picky.

It is not a 5 star hotel, do not expect that style and service. It is a 4 star hotel and except for parking it meets that level for a hotel. Our experience with staff was very positive. We booked a superior room, but our room was on a corner and was different than the pictures on Booking.com., much more roomy. The downside was it was on the side where the garage construction is happening, so construction noise would have been our morning alarm had we not already been awake and moving. The room and bathroom were clean as should be expected. The interior of the hotel is well appointed, although not Grand. There is a good amount of conversation and sitting space. The room that is used for the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet is very nice. The breakfast buffet was good, but not an overwhelming level of choices. We did not have dinner at the hotel, so cannot comment on that. In conclusion; is it the best 4 star rated hotel in Europe I have ever stayed in – no, however much nicer than many.

Parking; but an issue for all of Opatija. The hotel only has a few actual parking spaces to let, so do not expect to get one. I had hoped to park in the public lot that was immediately uphill from to hotel, but now it is only a hole in the ground where a new parking garage will be built. One day we were lucky to find a street space where we could actually figure out how to pay. The next day I located several spaces, but could not figure out those meter systems. So 34 Euros for overnight in a garage.

The hotel has a nice view to the sea and it is few walking minutes to the beach. It has terrace on the front where on some nights they had live music. Breakfast is various and rich. The personal was very nice too.

Parking…well parking is an issue from what i saw everywhere in Opatija. The hotel has a parking place in an abandoned yard or something. The place looked a little suspicious, but they have video surveillance, and it s safe to leave your car there. Parking is not free, it costs @20e/day which is a good price for Opatija, but to be honest I was expecting to have the parking included in the room price, or at least to be mentioned somewehere on the hotel description

Great hotel, comfortable rooms, most with sea view, cleaning service very good, nice shower sets.I liked breakfast and dinner not to many choices but quite enough for every taste, meat, fish, pasta and very tasty. The beach is few meetars away.Its my second time in this hotel, and it didnt disapoint me.I would highly recomend it. I am sure I will come back.

Noisy aircon, making a strange loud chirping noise on low fan setting. Dinner options were not always so tasty, some where too dry. Lot of noise from the streets, concerts until 11:30, and lot of traffic on the roads in the morning even with closed windows and shutters.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel in the city center, which exceeded my expectations with its friendly staff, sparkling cleanliness, and cozy rooms featuring plush beds. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options. Plus, the team went above and beyond to accommodate our extra requests, making us feel truly valued. While parking is a couple hundred meters away and can fill up quickly, the hotel's many positives make it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of the city.

We had a brief stay, but what stood out to us was the beauty of the hotel and the attentive staff. Fillip was very helpful, providing a map with recommendations for all budgets. What a great experience! Would recommend to my friends.

Nothing to dislike, perhaps a quibble about the AC. But that is really nitpicking.

The staff at the check-in/reception and at the restaurant was very kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. The room was spacious, with a very comfy bed and a clean and nice bathroom with a bathtub. The minibar was nicely and fully filled. The cleaning service was super. The location of the hotel is central and it has the "K.u.K-Flair", which is anyway typical of Opatija. Park Angiolina is just accross the street and so is the Lido -if you can afford EUR 70 per day for 2 sunbeds, 2 towels and a bottle of mineral water plus a fruit bowl. If your budget is more limited, Plaza Slatina is also close-by, max 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel Bristol has a nice bar with a terrace.

The central location is a bit of a disadvantage from parking point of view: the hotel has a parking place but it´s an open courtyard cca 5 minutes away from the hotel. Unfortunately there´s no gym or any other recreational facilities (sauna, spa).
