The hotel looks exactly like in the photos. It is very cosy, smells nice and is very peaceful. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the beach and lovely restaurants. One of the most beautiful beach clubs is also close by. The breakfast in the morning was small but offered something new everyday. Our room also had a beautiful view.

The rooms were quite cold and when you closed the windows the air quickly got stale. The ceilings are pretty narrow and not really suitable for tall people. Also, it seems to be that the shower is only warm during the day and not in the evening. There is no dinner option available in the hotel but also nothing available in the room to prepare something on your own.

Did a late check in without a problem and got welcomed by an incredible host who didn’t fail to succeed this the rest of the week. Always there for help (also outside office hours), to give recommendations, or just for a chat, he always walked that extra mile. On top of that, the room was great, the breakfast fresh and amazing every morning again and I just really loved Stobreč. It’s quiet, it’s not overwhelmed with tourists like Split, it has beautiful beaches and friendly people. We drove to Split every afternoon for a nice walk, some ice cream and a good dinner. Split is a very charming town, where I enjoyed being, but I enjoyed going back to the apartment just as much. I think being here is the best of both worlds (towns) and Split is just 15 minutes away, but being in Stobreč gave me the peace I needed. Very very much recommend!

it was very clean, the stuff was very friendly and helpful. the place is very nicely designed, quiet and it is a huge privilege there’s not too many rooms.

it is not a minus - but if guests could buy ground coffee on the premises that would be great :) there’s instant coffee in the rooms for you, so it’s ok, only i personally don’t like instant coffee and would love an option to purchase regular ground coffee from a coffee machine!

Location - The hotel is situated less than a 2 minute walk from a really nice gravel beach that doesn't tend to get overcrowded despite its relatively small size. The hotel is near a small harbour area which has a handful of bars and restaurants. It's the sort of place that will likely look very different in 5 years time as Stobrec has all the makings of an up and coming mini resort. The hotel was around 30 minutes drive from the airport, around a 15 minute drive into the centre of Split, slightly less than an hour away from the Krka waterfalls and around 15 minutes away from the Klis Fortress (Mereen from GOT). Parking - Plenty of parking out front at the hotel. No faults or issues. The rooms - Part of the appeal of this hotel was the style which it had been furnished to and it did not disappoint. The finishings and furnishings are excellent and I particularly liked the plain rendered walls within the rooms and bathrooms. It is modern and sophisticated but very subtle and there's no chance of you being overwhelmed by anything out of place. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the windows had electronic shutters installed which was a relief as the early morning sun hits the hotel well and the shutters do a great job at preventing any undesired sunrise awakenings! The AC & TV were fine and the bathroom was again very tastefully styled. The rooms are not cleaned routinely unless requested which I'm more than fine with as I find it uncomfortable not knowing when room service are due to arrive. Breakfast - Breakfast consisted of cereals, fruits, pastries, ham, cheese and fresh cooked eggs to whichever style you prefer. There was also a slot that changed daily to add a little variety which I enjoyed the baked zucchini bites. Plenty of variety of teas and the coffee machine produced a great capuccino. Staff - From arrival to departure the staff were all very helpful, kind and attentive. Excellent service overall.

Spa facilities - I did not realise they had a sauna on the premises until I was leaving and I would have definitely made use of it had I known. Perhaps a small note within the rooms might be useful. Finding the hotel - Now I did arrive in the dark but I did have to take 2 spins around the block to actually find the hotel. Apple Maps via CarPlay took me through Stobrec and when I arrived at the junction where it was saying the hotel was located, you actually need to turn left at the junction road and the hotel is located on the left.

Location, very helpful staff and the room’s facilities. The staff were all very kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Maria was very kind and understanding. The beach is a few steps away from the property and then down the stairs and across the road (2 flights of stairs). There is a grocery store and a few restaurants nearby. I managed to squeeze in a kayaking activity on my first night in Croatia. One of the activity’s meeting place was directly on Stobrec beach so when I finished and was completely tired, I felt very lucky to only go up to the hotel and not have to have a 20min ride to Split. They have toiletries and towels as well as a bottle of water with tea making facilities. The balcony/patio in my room was pretty and I was able to enjoy a nice drink outside. The seaview is slightly blocked by other buildings but otherwise very lovely. Breakfast was simple and eggs were being offered to be cooked according to your preference. The selection varies the next day so that was a pleasant surprise. Soundproofing is excellent. I had the best sleep in months!

I found the hot tub’s water temperature too hot (hence, the name). I tried lowering it but it was set to 26C. This is only my preference. Other than that everything is perfect.

The location is great. The main beach is less than a minute walk down some steps. There are many other beaches lovely 10 minute walks away! I was greeted by Dino who gave me a lovely welcome, was extremely helpful in every way and very knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are lovely with everything you’d need, very clean and nice smelling. Breakfast is all laid out in a spread, looks delicious with lots of variety. Dino asks everyone if they’d like freshly cooked eggs any way they want them. He asked the kitchen to prepare me a special dish as I’m vegan and it was beautifully prepared and very tasty….so kind! They even leave a little tray of free drinks in the foyer that you can help yourself to, which I thought was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend Loor Luxury Retreat to anyone wanting a relaxing laid back time. Thank you Dino and all the other staff! You were great!

There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like!

Loor is a wonderful property. Looks just as beautiful and clean as in the photos. The receptionists Dino and Bruno are extremely friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They were always available from providing tips on places to see and restaurants nearby to ensuring early breakfast on our last day. The beach nearby is amazing, with good cafes and restaurants. There is also a small church on top of the hill nearby overlooking the beach, which was one of the most serene places we have been too. Highly recommended!

Everything was really tidy and clean. I felt like I was living in a Zara Home advertisement. The staff was quite pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was also excellent. It is very near to the beach. Because it is not a particularly popular beach, it is ideal for those looking for a calm and pleasant day at the shore. You can also go to Split (I recommend using the bus - 25 because Split is very crowded). Overall, I strongly suggest it:)

There was nothing to complain about in terms of the accommodation or the employees. When you go to the beach, on the other hand, there is a tiny market. Even while it is really convenient, all of the rubbish is put outside, and it stinks. And when I say garbage, I mean a "mountain" of junk. It's really awful to watch this.

Look, this is a small family run hotel with around 9 rooms, but the service and the interesting and nice breakfast was excellent. Its about a 10 Euro taxi ride to the centre of Split, the staff fixed this up for us and followed our journey online to assure our correct delivery. I do warn the cabbies on RETURN were a different story, asking 30 Euro! the hotel staff were not impressed!! So be prepared to negotiate hard !.

Nothing apart from the Taxis, the staff will help you with this one - ask!!.
