The host did everything he could to make your stay enjoyable . The view and setting was very peaceful . It was quiet and very quaint . Breakfast area inviting . Air con worked perfectly.

The room needed attention, ie door handle to bathroom falling off , cracked sink and floor tiles . Bins were not emptied daily , and room was quite dusty , one bedside lamp did not work , when arrived old tenants water etc in fridge . No tea coffee making facilities in room . The pool was beautifully clean but difficult to access and no place to lounge around , sun loungers need attention as well as the surrounding area. However all this said I still enjoyed it as its not something that really puts me off but definitely will do others . It's very traditional if you want all "mod cons" this hotel is not for you

This hidden gem is perfectly located amidst stunning natural surroundings, offering everything you could need for a peaceful getaway. I visited in the summer and found it to be a perfect escape from the city’s heat, with soft winds and cooler temperatures creating a refreshing atmosphere. The only sounds were the gentle breeze and cicadas, making for a truly tranquil experience. The pool was wonderful for relaxing, and the local breakfast was both delicious and satisfying. To top it all off, the owner is a fantastic person, adding warmth and genuine hospitality to the stay. A perfect retreat for anyone seeking rest and rejuvenation in nature.

While I loved everything about this peaceful getaway, I do wish the village had a few more options for a nice meal or snack to complement such a wonderful stay.

Hotel is as described, rustically authentic,, we enjoyed the hospitality of owner Akis, who could not be more helpful, not a 5 star hotel if thats what you are looking for! If you like peace and quiet in a traditional village Ambeliksos is ideal and for visiting other villages and walking trails in the beautiful Troodos mountains

Beware there is only Ambelikos to eat and drink in village, if you want more 10 minutes drive to Agros

Ambelikos is a cute little, family-owned and operated agrohotel. It's not suitable for those looking for 5 star luxury, but if you're into agrotourism, relaxing in nature with a great view, or even using it as a base for hikes and tours around the wineries and local sights, it's an amazing experience! If you realize in advance that you will get an old (but clean) room, with antique beds and an incredibly friendly, small staff, you will not be disappointed. Twice the staff bailed us out with a quick reservation for dinner. What we had what the kitchen was able to make that day from their own provisions - this is the essence of the tourism experience they offer, and though the variety was not immense, the food was cooked to perfection and very tasty (comes with having fresh ingredients!). Overall, if you're into agrotourism, this is one to visit!

We were happy with everything ... but the mosquitos! There was a huge number of them and they kept on biting. We closed our room balcony, and somehow we still got one in. But the worst part was the yard, where they roamed free. I wonder if there is something that the hotel or local community can do to ... reduce their effect!

The hotel is very cosy kept in a traditional way, which makes it cute. It's located in a really quiet, picturesque area. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very big (could be smaller and a room could be even bigger).

The bathroom was really outdated, yet clean. Breakfast was on the poor side. We received 2 slices of salami, 2 slices of turkey , 2 slices of yellow cheese and 3 slices of halloumi plus 2 fried frankfurters and marmalade for 3 people. Coffee (Nescafe) and packed juice should definitely change.

This place is a time capsule in Cypriot culture. Old family house to become a hotel, this building is built beautifully and organically. Akis, the owner, he is the heart of this place, he runs the place with the spirits of family heritage over there. Very hospitable, loving and caring person with respect towards his guests. This place can easily be your home at home away.

The location was perfect, near to Agros and Kyperounda. The room was very warm and quite big. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice but again I would appreciate a bigger variety of coffee selection.

I really wish there was a kettle in the room or a coffee machine. Breakfast is at 8 o clock and for families that is quite late. Also, we could hear the people from next door even though they weren't very loud.

Amazing view from the hotel room balcony looking out over the village, the mountains and the sunset and later on the moon. Very friendly owner. Wonderful patio for breakfast, with vineyard trees overhead.

Some “hidden”/unusual extra costs for normal amenities: 15 euros sir charge for using the AC in the room, and a similar charge if you want to use the jacuzzi in your bathroom.

The host was brilliant! Gave us a map and lots of tips about nearby attractions which made our trip so easy. We ordered wine and it came with nuts and fresh fruit — such a thoughtful surprise. The host really went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We liked everything!

Very cozy traditional room with a great view and everything was very clean. The fireplace at night is a must and you definitely need to use the jacuzzi.

The tv is extremely small (around 20'' inches) and u can't really use it (maybe only use it to listen to the news). There were noises from the stuff moving some equipment early in the morning which woke us up. the breakfast was the most disappointing as it is not a buffet, but they bring you a tray with set plates (bread, eggs, cheeses and meats) which i didn't find something i like as most of them were cold.
