This is a great hotel complex located in the village of Kalopanayiotis. The rooms are in different historic houses. We were fortunate enough to stay at Loutraki House, situated on a hill. Therefore, we had an amazing view of the whole village and the Marathasa Winery across the hill. To make it easier to get up and down, the reception staff gave us tickets for a funicular ride. The staff were amazing — they were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room included access to spa facilities, which were also great. Finally, but certainly not least, the restaurants here were incredible — we had dinner at the Loutraki restaurant and breakfast in the Byzantino cafe, which both were delicious.

Parking in the old village is always a quest. And there are many stairs both between the houses and inside them.

The place is magical, beautiful surrounding, great little village, 100 years old houses. Staff is very helpful snd nice!😊 I do have some points though: it should be stressed that there are Many!!! Stairs to the room and it’s not fir everyone, the way to the room at night was dark and all the street lights didn’t work which added to the danger: stairs plus darkness! The shower floor was dangerously slippery!!!! And last and very important: we were at room number 3 (up up and above) , while in the bedroom you could hear EVERY WORD from the next room (4), the lady. Ext door wasn’t loud but we could hear all her phone calls which was disturbing.

I couldn't recommend this hotel any more highly; the surroundings are absolutely stunning, and the room was fabulous. I had the most comfortable sleep on the huge bed, and the balcony with its views was one of our favourite spots. The village itself is beautiful, with lots to explore within and in the surrounding area. We also dined at two of the hotel restaurants, and whilst they weren't the cheapest from our trip, they were worth every penny for the experience. The breakfast spread is also fantastic, including the wide selection of dried fruits and honey still in the comb!

Service and staff were both features that really stood out at this hotel. The attention to detail, explanations, support, friendliness and the shared areas of the hotel were all excellently appointed and well managed.

The quality the food was very disappointing. We had one lunch there and did not bother to try dinner. It was a pity because the site for the restaurant and terrace is stunning… The filo with cheese with hideous balsamic fig reduction was poor and the soufflé did not warrant the name, being more like the slab of rubbery egg you might be served in an aeroplane on a long haul flight. Dips were also disappointing.

I travelled solo and stayed for 1 night. The staff did everything to make me feel comfortable and happy, especially Mr Christos, who offered his help in anything I asked. All the staff members were extremely friendly and attentive. I got upgraded to a suite with the most breathtaking view (of the Marathasa Valley) I have ever seen in any hotel. The temperature outside dropped below zero at night but the room was warm and cosy, with the fireplace on and a very quiet AC. The Loutraki 2 suite was surprisingly big, super clean, well-equipped, beautifully furnished and quiet. I actually heard a rooster in the morning which added to my village experience! The room was situated far from the reception, but to get there I got to enjoy a nice, brisk walk through the village and a fun elevator ride while enjoying more fabulous views. The hotel of course arranged a baggy to drive me to my room on request, which was also lots of fun. I am definitely coming back soon! Thank you!

I did not like that I had to leave :(

Lovely set up of a hotel in this beautiful and picturesque village of Cyprus. Incredible views, great atmosphere surrounded by nature. Great walks along restaurants, cafes, wine bars and historic places. The breakfast had a good variety and the honey they provide is the best! We will definitely recommend it and visit again.

We had a great experience at the spa but we didn't like the fact that you need to use the spa facilities you need to pay extra. If you book a treatment the use of the spa should be complimentary.

The room was luxuriously comfortable and well-equipped. The bathroom was perfect, with a great shower and olive-based products, which smelled heavenly. We had a junior suite with a balcony that overlooked a garden courtyard and over the rooftops up to the mountains. It was quiet, and we slept well in a very comfortable bed.

For the price that we paid (€230 per night) we would have expected complimentary use of the spa, even if limited to an hour, rather than an additional charge of €30 per person. It is, after all, marketed as a Spa Hotel.

Ethos - something really special. Staff - all were fabulous. Setting - beautiful. Rooms - well proportioned and stocked. Food - authentic and excellent. Service standards outstanding. Spa - world class.

Privacy in rooms - many rooms have windows directly onto walkways. As solo female traveller, this was not comfortable. No proper curtains...even with shutters, proper darkness could not be achieved. Lift to upper village - this needs to operate 7am to midnight every day. Better selection of gin required! Bar staff need to be taught how to make a Pimms - mine arrived with no mixer! Breakfast - mediocre - no varietal changes day by day. Lastly - there needs to be a) a pool - at this level / quality of hotel, an outdoor pool is a given. I just assumed there would be one b) an area (around the pool) with sunbeds. More effort with 'green' policies - eg not using plastic straws with drinks

It was not my first stay at Casale Panayiotis, and I will definitely come again. I love so many things about this place; the serene little village, the nature trails, the old stone houses, the exquisite design of the rooms, the cleanliness, spaciousness, comfort! The Bysantino restaurant at the hotel serves great food, and breakfast is good too. Every time I make sure to visit the spa which has very talented massage therapists. So many little details make you fall in love with the place. On top of everything, the hotel is pet friendly and neuters local cats.

I say it as a true fan and hope you can fix these tiny shortcomings easily. The bathroom in our room didn’t lock, same problem at the spa. They forgot to put signature blue cushions on the armchairs on our balcony. The balcony plants need to be watered. And last but not least, I hope you continue spaying cats, as there were quite a few without ear tips. Otherwise, great job!

Nice concept of reviving the old village. Facilities are nice and many things to keep you busy for a weekend. Spa is small, but the booking process ensures that it’s not get crowded or uncomfortable. Food is great in both restaurants. Be prepared for many stairs to walk around. Staff is very accommodating and prompt with any requests.

The mattress in our room was so soft that we could not sleep at all. But this was not the case for other rooms we had, so maybe we just got unlucky. Also the positioning of the AC was directly flowing to your head, so we have to turn 180 degrees.
