Ambelikos is a cute little, family-owned and operated agrohotel. It's not suitable for those looking for 5 star luxury, but if you're into agrotourism, relaxing in nature with a great view, or even using it as a base for hikes and tours around the wineries and local sights, it's an amazing experience! If you realize in advance that you will get an old (but clean) room, with antique beds and an incredibly friendly, small staff, you will not be disappointed. Twice the staff bailed us out with a quick reservation for dinner. What we had what the kitchen was able to make that day from their own provisions - this is the essence of the tourism experience they offer, and though the variety was not immense, the food was cooked to perfection and very tasty (comes with having fresh ingredients!). Overall, if you're into agrotourism, this is one to visit!

We were happy with everything ... but the mosquitos! There was a huge number of them and they kept on biting. We closed our room balcony, and somehow we still got one in. But the worst part was the yard, where they roamed free. I wonder if there is something that the hotel or local community can do to ... reduce their effect!

Hotel is as described, rustically authentic,, we enjoyed the hospitality of owner Akis, who could not be more helpful, not a 5 star hotel if thats what you are looking for! If you like peace and quiet in a traditional village Ambeliksos is ideal and for visiting other villages and walking trails in the beautiful Troodos mountains

Beware there is only Ambelikos to eat and drink in village, if you want more 10 minutes drive to Agros

The hotel is very cosy kept in a traditional way, which makes it cute. It's located in a really quiet, picturesque area. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very big (could be smaller and a room could be even bigger).

The bathroom was really outdated, yet clean. Breakfast was on the poor side. We received 2 slices of salami, 2 slices of turkey , 2 slices of yellow cheese and 3 slices of halloumi plus 2 fried frankfurters and marmalade for 3 people. Coffee (Nescafe) and packed juice should definitely change.

Amazing view from the hotel room balcony looking out over the village, the mountains and the sunset and later on the moon. Very friendly owner. Wonderful patio for breakfast, with vineyard trees overhead.

Some “hidden”/unusual extra costs for normal amenities: 15 euros sir charge for using the AC in the room, and a similar charge if you want to use the jacuzzi in your bathroom.

The location was perfect, near to Agros and Kyperounda. The room was very warm and quite big. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice but again I would appreciate a bigger variety of coffee selection.

I really wish there was a kettle in the room or a coffee machine. Breakfast is at 8 o clock and for families that is quite late. Also, we could hear the people from next door even though they weren't very loud.

Very cozy traditional room with a great view and everything was very clean. The fireplace at night is a must and you definitely need to use the jacuzzi.

The tv is extremely small (around 20'' inches) and u can't really use it (maybe only use it to listen to the news). There were noises from the stuff moving some equipment early in the morning which woke us up. the breakfast was the most disappointing as it is not a buffet, but they bring you a tray with set plates (bread, eggs, cheeses and meats) which i didn't find something i like as most of them were cold.

A tremendous base in the delightful Troodos mountains, this hotel exuded honest charm. It's located on a steep hillside, so some dexterity at the wheel is required to drive up there, especially if you've got a big vehicle, but once you're there you've got the most gorgeous views all around, over the little village, and beyond. There's masses of wonderful walking nearby, and at least five UNESCO World Heritage monasteries are within a 30min drive. Returning to the hotel after a day's walking or sightseeing and cooling off in the pool before a dinner at the simple rustic restaurant and a cold beer was bliss. Antonio the manager was very helpful with advice on the area, and the room was lovely, with a high wooden ceiling and lovely little balcony from which to watch the sun go down. I could have stayed for weeks!

I was traveling with my family and had an amazing stay at this Agrohotel! ❤️ The location was very convenient, close to all the tourist areas. Its located in a stunning natural area with beautiful fruit orchards. 🍇🍉🍑 The guests and the staff were simply delightful, making us feel at home and peaceful from the moment we arrived 😇The rooms were clean and tidy. The restaurant at the place was truly exceptional, with a grape-covered rooftop providing an authentic atmosphere. The food is delicious, featuring many locally-sourced agricultural products. 😋 I can't wait to return to this wonderful place my next visit

an amazing option to stop by for a night when exploring the mountains of the area. a cozy unique place that gives you a real feeling of the village. a nice river for a short walk located just below the hotel is a must too. two reasons for having a half board reservation. - no other options around, and more important - Victoria the owner has an amazing chef abilities, and her fishes are so good. she and Antonio, the owners, are an amazing couple. thanks for a short but great stay!

needs a bit fresh touch, specially the bathroom, but that is some of the atmosphere of the property - so maybe its better experience it that’s way :)

Nice and quiet, staff friendly. Good homemade food and reasonably priced. Excellent choice of local wines. Great Views from the rooms balcony and any information we needed was available from our host. Good base to explore the Troodos region and very popular hotel to stay.

Access to the car park was a little challenging - limited parking. There are no other choices for food or drink in the village but plenty in neighbouring towns if you're prepared to drive the roads in the dark.
