The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. They are pleasant and are very available. It feels cared for and they take pride in their care. Even housekeeping and the gardeners are friendly. It is simple and clean and with that bit of extra care, it really can feel like a home away from home. We had to stay for over a week and had lots of special requests. They cheerfully accommodated. The restaurant is well priced and the food is fresh.

More variety in the menu would be great. It would also be nice if there was more lighting on the street outside the property. It’s a bit removed so walking down this residential street at night can feel a bit daunting. You can take a taxi and they will happily book them and bill it to your room though. The swimming area is a bit rocky so wear something on your feet in the water. And there is an area quite near where people go to the beach and some party quite late. But High Life itself is so quiet.

We have just had a wonderful break at the High Life. Our room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean and fresh with beautiful views of the garden and ocean from the two arm chairs and balcony. Our bed was clean and comfortable (just a bit clanky..but thats being picky). We were made very welcome on arrival by Eugene and were given service with a smile by Anna at mealtimes. We loved our breakfast, with some great menu options,served at the table whilst we watched the boats sailing into the harbour. It was so relaxing sitting in the sheltered pretty garden by the pool. We have stayed in 5 hotels in Kyrenia and the High Life will always be our hotel of choice. Thank you to Husseyn too. We will see you next year!

Perhaps some newer pillows and bedlinen

Spacious clean room. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Air conditioning worked well. Very quiet surroundings. Room was serviced each day. It felt like an adults only hotel which suited us fine for our 3 night stay at High Life Hotel. The staff were lovely and attentive. Breakfast was adequate and is served to you once you have made your choices. Breakfast is served on the veranda of the hotel with a lovely outlook to the calm sea where you can watch the odd swimmer, and the occasional locals fishing.

The bed in the room was up a set of stairs. Not to my liking having to navigate stairs in the middle of the night to go to the loo. Tried the sofa bed downstairs but too uncomfortable. The location (FOR US) was too far out of the main town centre. You can walk there but it’s along busy main road. Need taxi home later though when dark. As of October 2024 the cost of taxi from near the marina was 250 lira which was about £5.60. Set the price with the taxi driver first because when we got out he then increased from the quoted 200 because he said it was the High Life hotel that was further away.

The staff were extremely helpful, Anna and Victory were there for all your needs. Lovely location off the beaten track to a nice little complex of 20 rooms. Food was freshly cooked and tasty. Good choice for breakfast. Clean large rooms, nice bathroom with walk in shower. Nice pool area with sun beds and cushions. Restaurant area had a lovely outlook over the sea and harbour, also steps leading down to two deck areas and steps into the sea.

The only thing that let the rooms down was the furniture, it was a little dated and tired but the beds were very comfortable.

What a lovely little gem High life is, so secluded and relaxing with beautiful views over to Kyrenia Harbour from the dining terrace. Great to watch the sunset while having a scrumptious dinner. The standard of service was excellent and the food was beautiful, the staff could not do enough for you, and always so pleasant and happy. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. We were sorry we only had 4 nights, this time. Next year we will definitely be staying longer. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

The food was nice, specially the breakfast. Staff were polite, kind and attentive. I enjoyed the cleanliness. The pool was refreshing. But the most authentic experience for me was the snorkeling. If you are going there, have a simple snorkeling device with you. The private beach at your convenience, is a very good spot for snorkeling and enjoy watching fishes and rocks underneath. Very safe and authentic experience.

Lunches had a small room for improvement.

Very quiet and peaceful place. Clean pool, beautiful garden. We had a room with balcony, with living room and bedroom, and it was very comfortable. Low-key service, live-chat with staff and any request was served very fast. Victory, Sarah, Anna and small lady Beek (if I understood correct her name), Eugene - you do good job guys! In the meantime we would like to pay attention to the following issues: 1. Rooms and furniture look a bit tired. Not so well daily cleaning. Bath towels sometimes have not changed few days; 2. Breakfast is not bad, but after a week it’s become a bit monotonous (we stayed 14 days); 3. Most of the guests are senior aged. But they can’t go swimming in the sea because of very steep descent to the water.

Everything about our stay in this hotel was excellent. We had an upstairs double room overlooking the pool; the bed was very comfortable and the room was kept immaculate throughout. All of the staff are lovely and are very genuine - they like working at High Life and there is a real dedication to customer service and attention to detail. The gardens of the hotel are charming, and the lower terrace has a step-ladder straight into the sea where you can snorkel over a shallow reef within a short distance. We spent most of our days out exploring (hire cars are very cheap at around £29 per day) but it was always a pleasure to return to the lovely terrace for a cold beer at the end of the day. We got a good B&B deal on booking.com and the hotel charges very fairly: in context it works out around £2.50 for a beer/£3 for a glass of wine. We like adventuring in restaurants so did not eat at the hotel, but breakfast was always wonderful. We used a fair amount of taxis for eating out, which are easily arranged via the hotel WhatsApp from the comfort of the terrace. Standard fare into the middle of Kyrenia or up to Bella Pais (some good restaurants in marvellous surroundings) was between £3 - £4 one way. Best thing about the hotel: it is small, quiet, and private, and is unlike some of the more resort-style hotels you get closer in to Kyrenia. The hotel works really, really hard to maintain superb standards of cleanliness and service. There are few places we genuinely mean it when we say we would go back, but this is one of them. Dining and sun bathing excellent. Swimming in the ocean was easy and the water clean and clear.

Television didn't work, but in the end didn't miss it.Taxi is the only way to and from property which could add up cost wise after a while. Room's comfortable, but looking a little dated, but perhaps that's part of the charm.

I absolutely loved this place, I discovered this jewel by coincidence . I stayed at different hotels in the area, and this one topped it all. The place is just so beautiful, the view on the mountains at one side the view on turquois waters on the other, the stairs will lead you straight into the sea for a good swim, the room is spacious with very high ceilings and superclean, it smells like sweet flowers from the big garden which is lovely and you will hear the birds singing for you, it's a haven of peace, quiet and peaceful. Everyone working at the Highe Life was nice& helpful, they made me feel like home! Also the food was fresh and delicious from breakfast to dinner. The city center is only walking distance away about 15 mins, I very much appreciated the location with numerous shop and restaurants around. You shoud really visit this place you won't regret ever :) Hope to come back soon again!
