We received a very warm welcome from Vaggelis who was on night duty at the reception. Having just turned up out of the blue after a delayed flight and being put in another unsatisfactory hotel, he couldn’t do enough to make us feel safe and comfortable. Special thanks also go to Anna on reception, Agathi who has the most beautiful smile and welcomes you as though you are visiting her home. Giannis, who suddenly had more guests to cater for but did it with a smile. Last but not least, thank you to Emilios who was making more beds up at 2:00 am after the influx from our coach who had also been put up in other accommodation that wasn’t a touch on how great this hotel was. The breakfast choice is amazing! Lots of savory food like eggs, nuts, bread, bacon, ham, cheese, etc. as well as sweeter food like yogurt, fruit, cereal, croissant, etc. The staff are extremely nice and will do everything to help you. Live music at the bar on Saturday evening and good drinks.

Some of the carpet in the corridors is run-down and needs to be changed; the bathroom could use an update too.

The hotel was modern, light and bright and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet was superb and the staff at the buffet were very thoughtful and hospitable. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning was cool and quiet and the shower was huge and the water pressure was fabulous. There was a lovely cocktail bar / restaurant in the hotel but we didn't have a chance to try it. There is no on-site parking but the hotel arranges parking at a safe public parking lot only 2 minutes walk away and for a fabulous rate of only EU4 per day. What a lovely hotel in the centre of the old town.

Excellent little hotel, we enjoyed the stay in every detail! It had every thing that we needed for a quality stay in Nicosia. Excellent position few minutes from the bus station. The surrounding neighborhood is a little shabby but this only highlights the elegant interior design of the hotel, especially if the hall with colorful works of art. The breakfasts were tasty and presented full range of sweet and savory. The room was silent and nicely decorated, I liked the illuminated photo panel with wild flowers over the bed, it gave a feeling of calmness. Having the tea in the room was very useful in the evening when we were tired after long walks. The personnel was al at friendly, giving information and helping with all kinds of practical needs. I even used the sauna to warm up after a chilly evening.

The bathroom is small and that could be a problem for larger or taller people, but for us it was ok.

Very nice service. The room was not particularly new, but it was clean and good-looking. The breakfast had different options. The location is the best - walking distance to everything in the centre.

If you travel by a car, consider that the hotel doesn't have its own overnight parking. However, municipal (paid) parking is 4 min walking distance. The hotel offers a card to reduce the price for parking.

Our room was on the first floor. Very spacious. Huge comfortable double bed. Plenty of room to walk around. Big comfortable sofa in front of tv plus extra sitting. Walk in closet +coffee machine and mini fridge and his and hers bathrobes. Huge bathroom with all amenities. Everything from shaving to dental care to sewing kit to shower cap all available. Tissues and water provided. Spotlessly clean. Very nice minimal aesthetic. Designed for comfort!! Breakfast was rich with many healthy options available all food high quality. It is not a brand new hotel but everything is kept in beautiful condition and you can tell attention was paid to every detail. Location is within walking distance of all known shopping streets and the Freedom square. Staff super helpful and pleasant.

Without this being a problem the hotel does not have its own parking. The municipal parking is literally 1 minute away. There is space to park to unload heavy luggage and you can then park in the municipal parking where there is virtually always space. The staff provide you with parking cards to allow easy access to the parking so nothing to worry about. The location does not afford any amazing views but you can go out and about for that.

The Classic Hotel is a beautiful hotel located in the centre of Nicosia. The rooms were cleaned every day, the restaurant served a very good breakfast and once we also had lunch there and everything was very good. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel as a whole is full of many facilities including a restaurant, a wonderful bar serving delicious cocktails, a gym, a spa, a reading room and a beautiful courtyard with a beautifully decorated interior.

Excellent location. Very close to the Main Bus Terminal. Very convenient even we did not rent a car. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance. Many good restaurants around the area. The full breakfast is super. The staff are very friendly. Good size room. Comfortable, except sometimes quite noisy as loud people talking outside, plus the traffic noise too. We had some trouble with our room's key, not work every time...But the hotel replaced one quickly. We enjoy our stay. We particuar like the breakfast. Good value for what we pay. Will stay again when visit S. Cyprus again.

The noise from out side

Everything perfect. Great location in the old town. Breakfast super. Nice personnel. Just the walls too thick so you hear everything of other rooms. But still a very good hotel!

Excellent location. 4 minute walk to public car park. Very friendly staff. Brilliant air conditioning which was necessary bad it was 40 degrees! The breakfast was very nice with a huge selection.

The en suite bathroom was a nightmare. A step to go in, and two high steps up to the toilet. The bath is high, so challenging to get into the shower. Minimum space and my husband stumbled down the steps when getting out. The full length window on the main road has no privacy curtains. I’m sure the firemen across the street at the fire station have some laughs!
