Luxury experience (stylish interior), spacious room (comfortable bed), big garage (low parking cost: 15€ for 24h, 2€ for additional hour), tasty breakfast (big variety of food), lobby with white piano (playing in the evening), helpful and always smiling stuff (gave some leaflets of must see city places and a city map), the hotel is celebrating 30years birthday so we got a wine bottle as a welcome gift - that was a big surprise for us. SPA in the highest 12th floor (we haven’t visited, but I get info: opening hours: 10AM - 10PM. Entry per person 400CZK/ 16€/ 120min.). To sum up - we would absolutely come back in this hotel if visiting once more Prague. 10/10.

This is not a minus, because they have a metro station just behind the hotel, but location of the hotel is not in the city centre. We decided to take this a little bit far hotel, but with a safe garage (only 15€/24h), instead of a hotels in the city centre with public parkings (around 25-30€/24h). It takes only 15min by metro (A line - green) to reach the main square of the city (hotel station “Želivskeho”, main square station: “Staromestska”. Metro ticket: 30kč/30min, 120kč/24h). We still think that this hotel is 10/10.

Hotel is located only 2min walk to bus stop, tram stop and a metro stop that takes you to the old town, the metro A also takes you to the airport bus. Whole trip from the airport to the hotel took around 40min and costs around 60 Czech coronas/€2.5/ £2 with a 90min ticket but would recommend to get a 24h or 72h ticket so you get use it while you visiting Prague. Beautiful entrance to the hotel and with an incredible breakfast in the morning best time for breakfast is around 8am. Our room had an incredible view. If you wish to eat in the restaurant downstairs would recommend to seat in the lobby area so you have a chance to listen to live music while eating a 3-course Michelin dinner for 899CZK/€36/£31 per person. If you can upgrade your room to executive room with access to the executive lounge we would really recommend doing this. It has fizzy drinks on draft such as Pepsi, 7up etc. they have red, white and sparkling wine as well as normal beer and non alcoholic beer. Other drinks include bottled sparkling water, bottled still water, orange juice, apple juice, tea and coffee. For food they also have small but delicious sandwiches, pastries and some desserts. It’s also great if your room doesn’t have a view as the lounge has an outdoor patio that is great to get evening shots of the city. Great to come back to the hotel during the afternoon for a snack and it’s included in the price of the executive rooms.

We asked for house keeping once and no one came to clean our room. The beds only have two pillows and no spares in the room. Some staff seem like they don’t wanna be there but let make it clear it’s not all the staff. Most hotel spas are included in the room price or at least with the executive rooms unfortunately here it cost 400CZK/€16/£14 per person for 2h. Sadly the hotel also doesn’t have a swimming pool which is a rarity for 4* hotels. Game rooms has pool table but it costs 250CZK/€10/£8.5 for an hour and 1000CZK/€40/£35 deposit.

Lovely hotel, very nice receptionist. Comfortable rooms, really good choices of food in the breakfast room , easy transport to the center (underground). We got a room 1h before checking in and we stayed a bit longer too ( very helpful for us)

1)Cleaning the room wasn’t good. For our 10 days stay only once bed has been changed ( after me calling reception). Even though we daily put a card on the door “ please tidy up room “ we didn’t get service and on the day when they did only bin was empty and towel changed ( bed wasn’t touched) 2) toilet was cracked, bin lid doesn't work, quite a big hole in duvet cover, water in bathtub goes down very very slow

A great stay at Don Giovanni! We were kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite free of charge, which made our experience even more special. The staff was highly professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and the overall service exceeded expectations. Most of all the breakfast, it had variety of food and you could find tables filled with products everywhere in that floor. Even though we arrived late, they made it possible to order some food in the hotels kitchen ( it was closing). Would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to return!

Some elements of the hotel reflect its older structure, it's clear that it has been about 90% renovated and is maintained with great care and cleanliness, which for us, made all the difference. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend it to others looking for comfort, service, and a warm atmosphere.

Excellent hotel with all amenities and very good service. Breakfast is 5 * there is everything you could think about in a European breakfast, also have lot of options for gluten free and dairy free. The executive lounge is a great facility. And the massage and spa facility is great. Also have access to a massive gym facility across the road which is a huge plus. The reception area with live piano makes it feel five ⭐. Location is absolutely perfect as bit away from the city centre so away from the crowd but public transport like metro and tram stop is just outside the hotel so very convenient and could reach the city centre in about 10mins on the metro and about 20mins on the tram. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Incredible breakfast! Plenty of gluten free options, and many types of bread available (Ctech Bread is delicious!). There is also hot food and someone making fresh crepes! The hotel is very nice and clean. Warm. Great recommendations on what to do in town and how to move around by Alberto!

From start to finish, our experience at this hotel was exceptional. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, always ready to assist with genuine warmth. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay—from the delicious meals to the outstanding hospitality that made us feel right at home. What truly set this hotel apart for us were the fantastic activities for children and the thoughtfully designed family play areas. These made our stay not only relaxing and stress-free as parents but also incredibly fun and memorable for our little one. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to families looking for both comfort and enjoyment.

I noticed the toilet seat was slightly lower than what we’re accustomed to in Ireland, which might be less comfortable for older guests, though I understand this may be the typical setup locally.

The location of this hotel is good. It was easy for us to commute on the metro to the major attraction area for our sightseeing. We had a complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival. The room cleaning service was very good. Our room was cleaned every day with bottles of water as complimentary. The breakfast options were good. The food served at the restaurant tasted great with good value for money. Thank you to the front desk staff, Patrik, who was very helpful when we were struggling to book for a particular activity. He sorted everything out for us over the phone, and we only had to turn up to the place. I will recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Prague. We had a good stay 👌

Nothing to complain about

Really good hotel , it is about 10 minutes by metro from centre of old town (the metro stops that take you to centre are Mustek or Museum metro stop ) . the metro station is EXACTLY next to hotel, as well as bus and tram stops. (really easy to use transportation) And can't NEVER forget breakfast, excellent excellent 👌 great great breakfast. from 6:30 until 11 !!! ( try the croissants !!!) Also clean of course I really recommend 👌

really liked everything , I would of liked a small breakfast box since we left 6:30 ,and my 11 year old wanted a croissant, but maybe I should of informed earlier

Breakfast is amazing, cleanliness and comfort as well. Staff greeted us with a room upgrade and a bottle of wine (we don't drink alcohol so we ended up not taking it - sorry! But it's the though that counts). I saw some reviews of people complaining about noise but we had zero issues with that. It's not close (as in walkable) to the more tourist areas, but there's all kinds of public transport just a few meters away (bus, tram and metro!), so it's super easy getting anywhere and it doesn't take more than 15/20 minutes. Overall, we loved our stay and if we're ever back in Prague, we're not looking for any other hotels to stay in.

The only thing we can comment on here is the delay on elevators. The hotel is huge and packed, and only three elevators, which can then sometimes take a while during peak movement hours. And some people don't help by pressing the wrong buttons (pressing down when they want to go up and vice-versa). But not a deal breaker!
