Good location and area. Good starting point to explore Prague. I walked around the city a lot, about an hour and 20 minutes walk to centre of the city, 40 minutes walk to Vyšehrad and more (of course there is metro nearby for convenience instead). Many great restaurants nearby, in particular found one called Mattes Restaurace which I really enjoyed, 5 minute walk from the hotel. Shower was amazing, one of the best hotel showers I've had. Comfortable beds and clean, spacious rooms. I was able to leave my bags in the luggage storage room after check-out and pick them up before my flight that evening, which I really appreciated. Reception staff were always so friendly, helpful and informative with any enquiries I had.

Rooms are not soundproof, so I could hear into the hallway at night, for example when someone was arriving back to their room, or if cleaners were vacuuming. Unfortunately did not get the double bed I reserved with my room, instead got a twin, which even though you "reserve" at booking, it depends on hotel availability. Wi-Fi is open to all, would feel more secure with a password-protected connection, so would recommend using VPN.

Pretty comfortable and clean room, with excellent implementation of the interior space. We liked the shower and the night lighting. The bed exceeded all our expectations! It's large, soft, and fantastically comfortable! There was a tea set and a kettle in the room. It was nice.

Poor noise insulation. We could hear someone walking in the corridor at night, or taking a shower in the neighbouring rooms, and someone's dogs howling in one of the rooms. In the morning, at about 9:00, a cleaner tried to enter the room without warning. She just opened the door when we were about to take a shower. Please note that we still had time until 10:00 to vacate the room.

Very good Breakfast and dinner for the price. The room was clean, beds comfy, for a one night stay there is almost nothing to complain about. Check out was very swift as well. The view from 3rd floor was OK, it would probably be a lot nicer from the higher floors. We have enjoyed it overall.

The AC only works when you are in the room, so it was extremely hot when we entered. (window was closed as well) The check in was done by a trainee, and we booked it just a few hours prior, so it took a long time. Even though we did the "faster" online pre-check in, it did not help, and they copied our IDs again, so I would say do not bother with that if you are asked.

I have not personally been to this hotel, but I have organized this trip. And here are 3 reviews from different people who stayed at this hotel. 1. We spent 5 nights with 3 people in room number 1219 at Occidental Hotel. The room was very clean and was cleaned again every day. The view from the room was good. The staff were very friendly. Although there were three of us staying, the number of items such as cleaning supplies and cups and spoons were for two people. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel. 2. When I was in Prague, I stayed in the hotel in room number 1219. The room intended for 3 people was very narrow. I was concerned about the lack of ventilation in the toilet. And at night they turned off the heating system and the room was very cold. The blankets were too thin. At least they would consider it and put a thick blanket when they turn off the heating system. 3. We were in room number 1219 of Occidental Praha Hotel. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. They cleaned the room well every day. The hotel menu was excellent. The only problem was that they quickly shut down the combo. We were satisfied with the hotel.

As a family we got connecting rooms that was very nice, the bar at the lobby serves a very good food which is convenient as there are no restaurants around. A lot of free parking places around.

Breakfast was ok, nothing very fancy, but we were very much disappointed with the gym facilities - there is nothing, not even a single weight ! The hotel is a 30 min walk from the metro station..

My stay at the hotel was amazing! The breakfast buffet was delicious and diverse. Moreover, the room was extremely comfortable, ensuring peaceful and relaxing nights. Definitely an experience I would recommend to everyone!

While I generally enjoyed my stay, I must mention a drawback during the dinner service. Unfortunately, I wasn't informed in advance that some drinks were not included in the buffet, and to my surprise, the server brought me the card machine for payment midway through the dinner, disrupting the meal. This was a bit unsettling and impacted the overall dining experience.

Everything was perfect, breakfast was lovely and tasty with more than enough options every day, I definitely recommend! Best breakfast I’ve experienced so far! Lovely view from the window as well!

There was a problem with WiFi in our room (couldn’t connect at all), after reporting it the issue got solved quickly but still the connection/internet speed was quite low (but still rather sufficient for watching online streaming services) :)

Huge bed, absolutely massive and comfortable Good location, out of town but 10 minute walk from Pankrac. Plenty of buses, trams, and metro not far away. Breakfast as always at the Occidental is a luxurious treat with a huge selection. Feather and foam.pillows to choose fromirona nd ironing board, tea and coffee facilitiea, toiletries and more Check in/check was extremely fast - much appreciated

There were Spaniards and Russians walking and shouting in the coridoor all night long. Not the hotels fault but ruined our first night away without the kids.

The bed was comfortable and a huge breakfast variations.

Evey time when one of us came to the reception, we had to wait, so that they can finish something in the computer. They could have showed more of friendliness The shower is literally in the room, no real wall and there was no privacy in that bathroom..looks like that tey built it in additionally.

Good hotel with clean rooms, located close to a metro. A breakfast is rich and delicious

As usual a double bed consists of two single beds. The problem is they are on small wheels, so you need to be extra creative to sleep together. The biggest surprise is the view. We had a room on the 7th floor. You cannot see anything because the lowest half of the window is covered. That is uncomfortable, the amount of light is limited. Please remove the cover and hang the curtains instead.
