I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Fenice Hotel in Prague, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The service was fantastic, with the staff being incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every need. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a tasteful and abundant variety that catered to all preferences. The building itself is authentic and beautifully designed, creating a romantic and cozy atmosphere. Overall, La Fenice is the best small hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.

Location was perfect, quite convenient to the Metro and an easy walk to the center of town. The staff was helpful and friendly and always available. The room was a delightful combination of regional charm and modern comfort. Plan to stay ther again!
I liked everything!

The friendly staff, quiet central location, metro access, stored luggage & spacious room with nice view of the park.
Noisy, my room was not properly soundproofed. I heard furniture being dragged across the floor every day, morning and night. Air con temperature was pre- set (23 degrees), I couldn't turn it up or down which for a 4 star hotel was strange. I did mention it to staff, but nothing came of it. I paid for a breakfast as I wanted something hot, unfortunately the beans, sausage and scrambled egg was cold. Blackcurrant juice had no taste as over diluted. I paid 12 euros and I left the hotel for the start of my day hungry, this left me disappointed and had to buy something again.

Its a good hotel, great location, nice staff. Cleaning every day, nice room.
Bathroom - water pressure not stable (5th floor) Every 5 seconds, the water is switching to very hot and very cold and back to normal. It's impossible to have a peaceful shower session. The shower door is not sealed properly, so water is all over the place inside the bathroom and going to the bedroom. Booked double bed. Instead, i had two single mattresses. Not comfortable as you wake up in a hole in the middle. Overall, 90eur per night is way too high, even for the summer season.

The breakfast was great - lovely selection of cooked and cold food every morning. Slight annoyance though was although I paid for my breakfast at check in, I was embarrassingly asked 2 mornings in a row if I had paid for my breakfast! The shower wasn't great as the water pressure wasn't brilliant and no matter what temperature setting you had it at, it went cold/seriously hot back all the time during my shower so was constantly adjusting it. Small things as stay otherwise was excellent, staff lovely, room spacious and quiet etc.

There is a lot to like about this property. The location for me is the biggest tick. Literally a few stops from Tourist Central with a nearby Metro stop minutes away, however in this area, it felt authentic Praha, very rarely heard any other language than Czech which was great - lots of great bars, restaurants nearby. The hotel, super clean from top to bottom, it was rare you didn't see anyone cleaning. The room, decent size for two of us. Beds - absolutely fantastic like a big marshmallow. The bathroom was a good size & the shower was really decent. Good TV with accessibility to YouTube, Netflix etc. Staff were nice.
As much as I liked my stay & I would definitely stay here again, definitely had some drawbacks. Aircon - now, we went during a heatwave, it just didn't go anything really - couldn't turn the temperature down, it just blew the air temperature out, however it had very little blowing power anyway. Noisy - you could hear bin men every morning. If they didn't wake you up, then other guests would, if they didn't; the cleaners would. I have a knee that does dislocate & the shower getting in and out always felt like a daunting affair because it was quite high & those with mobility issues must struggle.

I have only good things to say about our stay! The hotel was a little old-fashioned (in a good, cool way), but it had all the required modernities - including an elevator and AC in the bedroom, which we really needed! The bed was super comfortable and we had two huge pillows, which was great. The bathroom was spatious and modern. The location is amazing, less than 5 minutes walking from the subway and close by car to the bus station. It has lots of nice cafés nearby. The reception was open 24/7, which was really useful as we arrived close to midnight.
It was a little awkward to get to the outlets by the bed, which we needed to charge our phones and one of them didn't work.

The hotel is located in the beautiful area of Jiřího z Poděbrad, which is between Žižkov and Vinohrady. The area is quiet but full of great non-touristic restaurants and bars, away from the touristic bubble that exists in the city center. The hotel could be a little outdated design-wise for some people, yet it has all the amenities you'd possibly ask for, for this convenient price. The staff were very friendly as well. Lastly, the hotel is very close to the city center, about 10-20 minutes walking depending on your pace. If walking is not your thing, there's the metro station very close to the hotel which can take you directly to Wenceslas Square.
Overal, I don't have any complains. I'd recommend some needed updates on the equipment within the rooms and bathrooms. Also, the hotel needs a little renovation, it looks like a hotel you'd find in the 90s, but it has its charm :)

The room is perfect for a staying. The bathroom is huge (really) and the bed was really comfortable. Staff is very helpful, the room was very clean and the room was cozy and warm during a really cold weather. The hotel is easy to find (it's a beautiful yellow building) and easy to reach from airport/downtown by metro/tram, so it's easy to go to places from there as well.
The hotel is a little bit far from downtown/activities, but there is tram and metro nearby so it's not a big deal. It's a little bit tricky to find cheap places to eat nearby as well and staff (even though was absolutely helpful) sent us to some really expensive options (40 euros a meal, common bro...), but you can find cheaper options nearby... just not many. Our room did not have many electric outlets and we had a lot of phone charging to do, so... be ready for that.

Nice neighborhood, but far from the center. Nice building, furnitures and bathroom. Cleaning and tidying after one night. Friendly staff.
Two things was strange in our stay: a. The first day everything was very clean, except from the room floor that we found many long human hair (we didn't ask for cleaning that time so I can't judge staff's reaction). b. They asked us to pay a small amount, the city tax, when arrived, that hadn't mentioned in the booking details (I don't think that was illegal, because we got a receipt, but it was a bit strange).
