Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and of a good size. And the included breakfast buffet is a tremendous value with a great variety of fresh and tasty items (even a few things for vegans). But the best thing about Hotel Taurus is its location just one block away from a metro station and in a neighborhood with many restaurants, pubs, and shops nearby.

The bed pillow was very soft and formless. I asked the front desk if they had a more firm pillow and they said it would be delivered to my room. When I returned to my room later that day, I found two soft and formless pillows on top of one another. I would stay at Hotel Taurus again but perhaps bring my own pillow next time.

The room was spacious. The bathroom facilities were great, it had a powerful shower, good amount of towels and toiletries available. Tea and coffee facilities were available and a small fridge and safe in the room. The mattress was very comfy. Breakfast times were from 7am until 10 am and there was a wide range of both hot and cold food available, we ate early and late once and there was always the same wide choice available. The location was great for local transport into the centre by tram or metro. Staff were helpful and the airport shuttle service they organised was comfortable and reliable. .

Striking old building, very well placed away from the centre but in a lovely area. Good sized room, comfy bed, useful chair and desk area. Tea and coffee facilities very welcome. Spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water and toiletries. Tasty breakfast.

Larger towels please. Quite noisy as people made their way to the lift at 3am (we were not as close to this as some rooms) but I think that is the other residents being inconsiderate rather than any fault of the hotel.

It's a very pretty hotel with kind staff and beautiful rooms. The receptionist has helped us a lot by allowing us to checkout an hour later, so that we could have enough time to visit the city center. The metro station is a quick walk away and I recommend everyone to visit "Magical Sova" a Harry Potter themed cocktail bar which is right around the corner.

This may be limited to our room, but since our window was aimed towards the street, there was a lot of noise from traffic (cars and trams). The room was also quite warm so I highly recommend booking a room with air-conditioning if the outside temperature is above 25 degrees.

The bed was good, but it could be a little more comfortable because it was a little hard. Breakfast was delicious, you can find something salty or sweet depending on your mood. Coffee machine did the trick perfectly.

Not a single complaint. But because I have to write something... next time we visit I will request something on a higher floor to avoid the street noise, and to leave the window open at night.

The location is perfect, near to the metro and tram station and in a nice neighborhood close to many restaurants, grocery stores and Flora shopping mall. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. The check-in process was fast. They have a nice parking lot in the backyard and the daily price for parking is not very expensive like in some other hotels in Prague. Breakfast is excellent. Everything is clean and there is a daily room cleaning. The beds are comfortable for sleeping. There is an exchange office at the reception which works 24/7. The rates are fair, but not perfect. When I visit Prague next time, I will probably stay again in this hotel.

We booked two rooms. One with a double bed and one with twin beds (for my children). The room with twin beds was ok and like in the photos we booked. But our double room was not. It was room 111 which is not on a classic floor but on a mezzanine with an extremely low door and an unusual staircase leading down to a room that is smaller than the other room we got. The bed is not a double bed, actually, it was 2 connected twin beds. Rooms have no A/C (there are fans in the rooms). For us, it was not an issue because when we traveled the daily temperature was a maximum of 25 degrees C. But, I do not know what would have been feeling if it was 35+ degrees C. Without these negative impressions, I would rate this hotel with 9.5.

Once again (and not the last:) ) I prefer this hotel for my trips for any purposes to Prague and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. Great internet coverage, impressive and yummy breakfast (personnel in the restaurant are amazing and really warm to everyone ♥️). Many thanks to Anuar for good organizing the check-in at the hotel and to Vladimir for the exceptional check-out. Despite the fact I said quite late about my need for early breakfast, during my departure, I wasn't left without food for a long way ^-^ This is really nice and proves a very respectful attitude of this hotel towards guests.

Stairs. Looots of stairs. Despite the fact of the existence of the elevator, it wouldn't help you to reach the restaurant for breakfast. It's a big problem for people with any previous or current traumas.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Taurus in Prague for five days last week, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful part of Prague, on Vinohradská Street. The room we stayed in was spacious and exceptionally clean. The housekeeping staff tidied up our room meticulously every day and provided us with fresh towels. The room was well-equipped and even had a kettle for hot water, which was a nice touch. The daily breakfast was served buffet-style and was incredibly diverse, ranging from scrambled eggs to grilled sausages, various fruits and vegetables, an assortment of pastries, and a selection of juices and coffee. The breakfast spread truly deserved a perfect score of 10/10. The hotel's staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were impressed with the level of cleanliness and the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The quiet location provided a relaxing atmosphere, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful city of Prague. I highly recommend Hotel Taurus to everyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Prague. The excellent breakfast options are definitely worth the additional charge, offering a great start to each day of your stay. We had a fantastic time and would gladly return in the future. The hotel is located in a picturesque neighborhood of Žižkov/Vršovice. The metro station Jiřího z Poděbrad is very close. The hotel itself was great, staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding. Btw., the morning walk through Vinohradská Street, around the Czech Radio, and towards the Museum, is beautiful.

Nothing in particular. Two very minor things: the single room was surprisingly small, and for breakfast, I was looking for Wiener Würstchen/párky, but they only had Bratwürstchen/bílé klobásky (which are quite rare in Czechia).

Location ... fantastic . Not very far from the metro. Central place for anything in Prague. Room ... Rather ok. Had to walk / climb stairs with bags for the room. Thats the only negative part. Room size was good, facilities were decent. Breakfast - Wonderful to say the least. Full spread breakfast - loved it. Restaurant - Apart from breakfast no coffee as well though they have kettle and coffee sachets in the room.
