The front desk staff were extremely lovely to communicate with, especially Valentin. He went above and beyond to make sure me and my friend felt at home, giving us local recommendations, and making sure everything on our trip went smoothly. You can tell he is an extremely hard worker, and takes pride in getting to know his customers. Valentin made my stay feel like home; a very nice and comforting trip. I would definitely book again, because he made my stay so enjoyable. The rooms were nice, and we had a good view of the city as well! Breakfast was great, and the hotel is near the light rail / tram.

Receptionist Yuriy was especially welcoming; as a regular guest, he gave me a lovely room with a view on the third floor. He also explained my way around Prague and the offerings of other beautiful hotels in their group located in different parts of Prague. I really enjoyed the breakfast served in a room that was originally a theater hall. I recently stayed in New York City, and none of the top hotel chains there offered a breakfast as good as this one. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay, as well as a drink at the bar. I’ve been coming back here for years and always enjoy my visits.

We left the hotel with the best experience. We stayed 5 nights and everything was amazing. Despite not being in the heart of the city, it has great access to the center. The trams nearby go to the center in less than 10 minutes. Very helpful staff. A special thanks to Mary who was very friendly and professional!

Staying at Hotel Theatrino was unforgettable!!! The room was very clean and comfy. The staff were thoughtful and understanding enough to provide me with additional comforters. Breakfasts were mouth-watering and really diverse. And the name of the hotel clearly reflects the building's history, we had breakfast in a former theatre audience hall, which looked truly spectacular:-) The hotel is two tram stops from Praga Hlavni Nadraži and a ten-minute walk from the TV tower with Černy's spectacular baby sculptures. Žižkov, where Theatrino is located, is a safe, vibrant, beautiful district, bustling with social and cultural life. Jara Cimrman's Theatre is a twenty-minute walk from the hotel. Theatrino is truly recommendable, very well located and architecturally unique:)

The room was quite small for a single person, but because of the very high ceiling, it didn't feel that way at all. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Delicious fresh food with a slight daily rotation to keep things varied, but the staples are all there. It was also in the beautiful theater hall, so all-in-all it felt really nice. They also offer to hold your luggage which is a nice service. The location is also great. It's quiet despite its urban location, and has a direct tram connection just down the street, so you can get into the center quite quickly. Good value for the location and everything.

The pillows provided were not the most comfortable. They were the kind that immediately let your head sink down to the level of the mattress, so you might as well not have one at all. I personally prefer firmer ones.

we were upgraded to a deluxe room so we had more space for our 5 night stay. the beds were comfy, the room was very clean and housekeeping kept us well stocked with coffee/sugar/etc. good location as was out of the busy area but with easy tram links and metro fairly close at hand. Breakfast was very good - both in the range of food on offer and the quality of it.

the room we had needed a lick of paint as the walls and door frames were quite marked in places. the curtains didnt quite shut and with the number of mirrors in the room the sunshine woke us up most mornings quite early - sleep masks would have been a bonus!

⸻ Very pleasant stay! The hotel was clean, breakfast included tasty and varied pastries, and the location offered easy access to public transport for getting to the city center quickly. A big thank you to Alexandru, the hotel administrator. He was not only kind and professional, but also impressively quick in solving any issue I had. I appreciated his patience, especially when helping me with things like the window and paperwork. On top of that, he gave great local tips that helped me explore more of the city. Hotels are lucky to have people like him – a true asset to the team!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Theatrino. When you walk into the hotel, you discover much more than expected—welcoming smiles and the greatest energy! It was our first visit to Prague, and Yuriy was incredibly helpful and kind. He truly made our day in Prague. We asked Yuriy about the hotel’s history, and apparently, it has a rich historical background—from the staircase and stained glass windows to the theatre room (now the dining hall). Just amazing! If you’re into art, you’ll find plenty of beautiful Art Nouveau details, and it’s really impressive how well Hotel Theatrino preserved them during renovation. Some important things to mention: transportation is very convenient, just a 2-minute walk away. The hotel is close to the city centre—we actually walked there in the morning to explore Prague’s beautiful parks. Having breakfast in that grand theatre room is just incredible! The breakfast itself was also really good and rich —there’s something for everyone. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We truly loved staying at Theatrino! I rarely say this, but the hotel is genuinely amazing and gives you a wonderful experience. I never thought I’d write a whole paragraph for a hotel review, but I just had to! We’ll definitely come back! And if you visit Prague and decide to stay at Theatrino—say hi to Yuriy from us! Cheers!

Location is really good. Close to tram stop (2 mins). Some really nice bars and restaurants close by. Good breakfast with lots of choices.

We were in a room on the 5th floor. Only one lift working and other very slow. Room felt a bit attic like, so if stayed again would ask to be on a lower floor. Booked a double room but it was two single beds apart. I told reception but she just said everyone had checked in so could not be moved. Offered to put a sheet over two beds next day as this is what they consider a double. This never happened but beds were comfy. Just beware if you are expecting a double bed as we were. Room a bit dated and some empty shampoo bottles left from previous guests in room.
