Hotel is a little bit far from downtown, but still is very walkable friendly. I will say that it is strategically located as you can walk literally down town or up town to explore more! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Hotel feels safe even though there's no one at reception at night. I can say that it is also the first hotel I've been that blankets and towels smell so good ( good job in choosing such a great washing powder soap that smells so good and so clean!)

Be aware we were there during summer, therefore there might be some insects like mosquitoes that get into your room (bathroom window remains open as it is in a high spot), this wasn't a big deal for us. Also, if you are a woman walking at night be careful of your surroundings as going up to the hill coming from downtown( not in the hotel street as there it felt safe, it was nearby the main avenue), you might find drunk men walking by and that makes the walking feel unsafe.

The hotel called me a cab daily on my way out and the neighborhood was okay/safe enough in the light of day. BUT, after dark the streets are very isolated and dimly lit!! The location was so- so for a female solo traveller...too far away from Old Town and difficult/ expensive/ time- consuming to hail a taxi/uber/bolt as you had to have the supper restaurant order it for you, rather than just catching a random one on the street...they do NOT stop. It involved a lot of convincing of Czech persons who were reluctant to do this, in their language on the phone. How would a non Czech-speaking tourist do that?! It was a bit stressful knowing you could be stranded once you are out for the day!!! I'd rather pay more for convenience and safety than be in the darkness dropped off at some bus stop or tram stop and still have to walk blocks to the hotel amongst the isolated, dimly lit streets or through the roaming drunks!!!

That all my suggestions were listened too and responded too very quickly. Eg. workman blocked bottom of stairs due to wet paint with taped plastic. I asked about options of a fire escape. Turned out no alternative- very quickly acted upon. Also the area of Zikhov is underrated, we found the pubs and restaurants very friendly and reasonably priced.

To be honest for us nothing however it would be helpful to know it's halfway up or down a very steep hill with typical prague pavements of mosaic tiles which if wet or wintry could be problematic.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent and very well presented breakfast particularly strong on salads, cheeses, cooked meats and home made cakes. Bedroom featured useful features including a fridge and safe. Comfortable bed. Seven minutes to very frequent tram service and 15 mins to main train station.

No air-conditioning in the rooms.There is a noisy bar close by with people standing outside talking until late although thank goodness the hotel has good windows to suppress noise. Not much else really.

It was OK. Quite close to the tram to get to the old town centre. The breakfast was good! Great value for money, the staff were lovely and helpful, the housemaid was lovely also. There are plenty of great places to eat and supermarkets nearby

We had the unfortunate timing of the road outside being re surfaced, which made it impossible to have a nice lie in. There is a cocktail next door open until 5 a.m., so can get noisy on Fri and Sat .. The mini fridge was warm, so it needs replacing.. A bit of an update in the bathrooms is in order.

We were given a family room for some reason (i don’t recall booking one) but that turned out perfect for us as we had 2 big luggages which I imagine would’ve been a squeeze in a regular room. The breakfast was genuinely great, we were so excited for it every morning - good spread and some items changed every day. The rooms were cosy and comfortable. About an 8 min walk to the closest tram stop which was then only 2-3 stops to the city.

Stains on the carpet.

Great cozy room with good internet speed and a great bathroom. Excellent location to reach any place in Prague. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very fast check-in & checkout process. Breakfast options were adequate and food good. All in all, great deal & stay.

Some spots at the entrance carpet were dirty/had spots on them, and on one place next to the wall. But nothing that cannot be quickly solve and might've been a very recent thing. A nitpick from my side.

Thank you for nice stay in your hotel, great location,helpful and charming receptionist who offered us welcome drink and refresment cause of celebration of hotel anniversary. The bed are comfortable,the bathroom enough for comfortable use and clean. The Windows have acoustic double glazing for whole night sleep. The hotel is in walk distance to some pubs, restaurants, shops nearby or tram station to get you to the city center. I like the Zizkov district for its atmosphere and nice architecture. Even the breakfast was fresh, variable, for vegetarians or those are hungry. Soeciality are pan cakes. The only missing espresso was disadvantage...

Very good breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff. Great location, with public transportation five minutes away. Good 2-bedroom appartment.

Very difficult to get a parking spot in the hotel´s parking (only four spots available) - at the time when we travelled the street was also closed because of roadwork. Scratches/cracks in the walls not representative of a 4-star hotel. A/C would be a great addition.

Breakfasts were delicious. Variety of meals, both normal and vegetarian. Parking was small (only for few cars) there is a need of reservation before arrival. I've done that , so haven't got any problems. Hotel is located near tram stop. Additionally in near distance there are: food market, restaurants (chineese, italian and most imporatntly Chech restaurant "U Houldka" where you can eat traditional meal and drink beer for a reasonable price).

TV was not connected to the internet, so if you would like to watch some streaming apps you should at least take a laptop with you.
