Check in was easy and without fuss. The room I booked was Premium Seaview and that was what I got. What a view! The room was modern and comfortable, a nice basket of fruit was a nice touch. As I arrived late, a cold meat and cheese platter was made for me. The food were really good, tasty and small variation each day. I had no problem with getting drinks and that's before I started giving small tips. I don't tip staff for bad service until a tip is given. The hotel was not full, getting a sunlounger at the front of a well maintained sandy beach was no problem. Many clients were slightly elderly so preferred to be by the pool. This is a smallish hotel, so don't expect pool slides and form parties, thank goodness! Majority of the beach is roped off to stop guests damaging the corals. They are happy for guests to walk along the beach beside the sea, but not to enter. There are designated entrances but still some guests don't think this rule applies to them. This hotel is for guests to relax, unwind, and enjoy peace and relatively quiet during the day. There were some external sports for energetic clients, like volleyball, boules, darts, pools and table tennis. Entertainment in the evenings with good shows for about an hour. I look forward to returning, soon.

The weak free wifi was mainly restricted to the reception and outside the restaurant areas. I think this was a common problem around this area.

We loved this hotel and we think we have found our place now. The size of the hotel is perfect, it is neither too big nor too small. The location was perfect for relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And fortunately, there were no entertainers/animation groups!!! The beach was nice and peaceful. A few steps away from the beach sand, you could easily swim. The water was clear and clean because there were no boats to be seen anywhere. You only saw a wide deserted open sea. The food was really good and tasty, and there were plenty of options. The rolls were always fresh and we had delicious pastries for dessert. The breakfast was always just as pleasant. The atmosphere in the hotel was very positive, the staff was always with a smile on their faces, being friendly and helpful. Our special thanks to the young waiter named Mahmoud 😉! The restaurant was cozy, with enough tables inside and outside. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and calm, and every time it was easy to find a free table. It should also be mentioned that the chief(s) did a wonderful job! We are already planning our next trip to this hotel, we will probably return there in a couple of months. This hotel really felt like home away from home ❤️

Coral Sun Beach is the best location in Egypt that I have stayed at so far. What I liked: My room was clean and spacious, lots of power sockets (make sure you take the right, round pinned power adaptors), rooms are cleaned daily, free 2 litre water bottle daily, a kettle and fridge were in my room. The shower was great, the toiletries pleasant and the bidet worked great. I stayed all inclusive...free food, free drinks. The menu changes daily. On the whole, the food is delicious...best kofta in Egypt (so far)...good options for vegetarians too. The attention to hygiene in the restaurant was of a high standard. The cleanliness in the whole resort was of a high standard. When staff were on duty and carrying out their tasks, very few people were using mobile phones. I liked this because if you're head is buried in your mobile phone, you can't be aware of what is going on around you and you can't adequately look after your guests. I also liked that guests with disabilities received extra care and support. The reefs in the area are awesome, they're free to snorkel in and the marine life is diverse with some BIG shoals. There is guided snorkeling and a dive company on site for enthusiasts. There is also a diverse range of birldlife on site, including resident Kestrel and Osprey. The WiFi isn't free and problematic...you can't always get a connection in your room (not good if you're staying there on a business trip and need to focus on work). Few rooms have access to WiFi, main access is in the reception area. All drinks are served by the glass...unless you're paying for drinks. Sometimes the beer will be a bit flat, as a bottle will stay unopened until dispensed. Given that it's a cheap local beer (which still tasted good to me), they need to just hand over the bottle to the guest). The hotel ride to the airport is $40 or €40...I can't remember which. I booked a ride back from booking.com for about $25.

The facility had many different 'wings" so you can request options to be by the pool and action or off on the side in quieter areas. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The dive center is a minute walk in the sister resort making it very easy to plan and schedule dives. We had a late evening flight and were able to store our bags during the last day and then they provided us access to a shower before we left for the airport. We were one of the very few non-German guests, but that was not a problem at all. We loved our time there and wish we could have spent a few more days.

You had to learn how to navigate the food. We are very adventurist and love a lot of different things. Some of the food was excellent, while other things were just ok. A lot of things tasted the same. But all in all, we learned very quickly how to search out what we knew we liked.

Hotel Rooms Division manager Mr.Peter he was great and smart , he could fix our problems from the second day after the wrong room cause of the overbooking they had , Also Mr,Shenouda at the reception night shift he was great listener and he could deliver our concerns to hotel management, TH e hotel was great and all the staff specially The Food and beverage waiters and their management

The hotel is on a beautiful beach, lots of sunloungers, superb snorkeling. We stayed in a deluxe room which had been recently renovated. Was just like the photos and had a very large balcony. Food was excellent for a hotel buffet. Extremely clean hotel. Very helpful staff. Very quiet hotel , no loud music by the pool.

Essentiel to be able to climb some stairs to restaurant.

- awesome reef for snorkeling and diving - nice sea view, calm area and sandy beach - comfortable beds and clean rooms - tasty traditional oriental dinner (2x/week) - quick response to my email requests

- Booking.com didn’t specify total price after Taxes in the confirmation and receptionists didn’t speak well English - annoying sellers/waiters and boring entertainment program (from 10 years ago) - food was almost every day the same and sometimes even inedible (raw, underdone, over-salted, fake) - TV had only few watchable channels - no specific swimming instruction (tourists don’t know they aren’t allowed to swim in marked places)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, starting with the friendly welcome from the reception staff, especially Tantawi, and of course from Mr. Peter Aziz, the reception manager, who stayed with us until he saw that we were all content and feeling at home in our rooms as a group. Additionally, once he know that I am a vegetarian, he quickly informed the restaurant, and the main Chief there welcomed me with special dishes every day. Of course, I will return to such a cosy and peaceful place. There is a trampoline, a bilrardo table, a Bing bong table, and daily animation. I want to thank the animation team in particular for Mohamed Emad and Mahmoud since they were incredibly kind, energetic, and interested in the guests. In general, I'd want to thank the whole staff for their tolerance, compassion, and professionalism

The location is a little out of the way, the mobile coverage is not great, and I believe the food quality might be higher.

A quiet and relaxing stay. Food is good with small changes for each meal. Friendly and efficient serving staff. A lovely gentle sandy beach. The room booked was a good size and had a great sea view.

Wifi when working was weak.

everything was very good , the room was so clean and spacious, i loved it. the beach is great , u can find the beautiful coral reef if u want to snorkel.. and there are also some areas that you can access the water from the beach to have a nice swim. the staff is super friendly, the facilities are good , it's a small cozy relaxing resort.

the food isn't great , but you will definitely find something you like to eat .. the breakfast is the best. and i can't complain bec it's just convenient considering the price .
