Fantastic hotel! It deserves 5 stars. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, as if from a movie, unreal, it takes you back to the time of sophistication and elegance. The lady who plays the piano adds a special charm. The staff is very professional and ready to help you with anything. The cleanliness of the hotel is at a high level. Every day of the week there is a different dinner theme and different food. The food is of high quality and tasty. The largest selection of cakes I have seen in hotels. The beach is large and the deckchairs are very comfortable, the water is clean and gradually deep. Palm trees on the beach at sunset are something special. Every night is a different show, an interesting program for both adults and children. If you want your room, they will clean and change the bed linen every day. I would recommend the hotel to anyone, we will definitely be back.

Second time by Palm Royal, which developed even since 2021. Really nice staff, especially Marua with kindness and Hakim with help. WIFI is much better compared to our last stay. Food excellent, clean rooms, there were some renovation in process, but well organised, no brother. I can only recommend it to anyone!

All stated below is benchmarked against other hotels in Egypt I stayed (~10 incl. Sheraton Soma Bay, Kempinski, Hilton Marsa Alam, Gemma and similar ones). -great spot for kitesurfing. Perfect wind and water conditions. -great greenery; grass, palm trees etc - way above the average -dinners were also above average. Mexican theme dishes were better than in Mexico :) Also kudos to pastry chef. One of the best sweets selection I have ever experienced. I just missed there was no baklava. -large swimming pools, long stretch of beaches. -quite „oldy”, but very well equipped gym. Special shoutout to Ahmed Hakim. This Manager was a bomb! Not only he was able to fix some minor problems, but overdelivered greatly. He was not only fast and up to the point, but also pro-active. One of the best customer-facing managers I met, not only in Egypt but globally. I really felt he wanted to make my stay exceptional!

-some room equipments like cupboards were visibly heavy used. -water was only delivered to the room 25% of days. Thats not a problem as bottled water was available during meals, and flavored water in the lobby, but I would expect it comes always with the room cleaning service. -there was no „smoking free” outside breakfast area. Of course inside was „no smoking”, but outside was all filled with smokers.

Overall food was pretty good, good variety and selection! Love the different different themes each day. Staff was really friendly, kind and engaging. Love the beach but no corals to be seen. Lots of facilities to be enjoyed at the hotel!!

Animation team is friendly but activities were average, could be more entertaining. Food at Italian restaurant could be better, but Asian Delights was amazing. We booked a boat trip from the beach, was promised fishing but there was none. At check out, we had to carry our luggages to reception on our own, would be nice if hotel offer to pick us with the gold cart.

I had the pleasure of staying at Palm Royal in Soma Bay, for second time and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The staff were incredibly attentive and always went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering stunning views of the Red Sea. The private beach was pristine, and the crystal-clear waters were perfect for snorkeling and other water activities. The dining options were superb, with a variety of restaurants serving delicious international and local cuisine. Each meal was a culinary delight, and the chefs were accommodating to special dietary needs. One of the highlights of my stay was the array of activities available. Whether it was lounging by the pool, engaging in water sports, or exploring the nearby attractions, there was always something to do. Overall, Palm Royal in Soma Bay exceeded all my expectations. It’s the perfect destination for relaxation, adventure, and unparalleled luxury. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable vacation in Egypt.

Absolutely amazing resort! The ocean is crystal clear and brilliant for swimming and snorkeling. Staff are super attentive and makes the all inclusive element really worth its money. The food is so tasty and so much care and detail goes into ensuring everything is 5* quality. No shortage of places to eat and drink, and we never found ourselves searching for food or drink. The pianist in the evening is incredible and brings a really classy aura to place. The pool is really clean and the loungers are very comfy with good shade available. The cleaners do such an amazing job at this resort, groundskeepers also keep the area immaculate.

The laundry we found to be quite overpriced (e.g. approx. $1.50 per item of underwear) so we decided not to do it. A map would be useful upon arrival so that you can find all the facilities. We were still discovering areas after 6 days. A wonderful cleaner was pushed around by a couple of managers at the bar sometimes, it really upset me to see some 'bully' culture in staffing and is inappropriate.

Hotel location, working staff, especially. Mr. ahmed and zaki at the reception, David at the beach bar, shaaban at the main restaurant. The pool was clean, the sea was exceptional, beach sandy, cozy and elegant reception, Mrs Elena and nice piano at night, rooms clean, wide, classis furniture, Night show, animation team.

Food is average or below average, esp. main course and salads. However, they have nice bakeries and tasty desserts. Rooms have some issues like minibar refrigerator old ammonia, which is not good at cooling. There is only one snack bar with the same items every day..

Large buffet with everything you would like. There was also additional restaurants you could book in the all inclusive deal that served amazing a la carte. Beautiful hotel with large rooms! They offered many activities so you had always something to do. Beautiful garden and very good pool with pool bar. They had live singers many nights and performances. It was a great experience. They had good kiting for my partner and I could ride horse on the beach.

We had issues with the air conditioning in the room and they were not able to fix it in a timely manner and we needed to go to the reception many days in a row which took time from our holiday. In the end we didn’t want to waste more time on asking for the janitor to come again because every time he came to fix it (4-5 times) it didn’t get solved anyway. Also the mini fridge was not working and he had a look at it one time and he said now it works,, but it didn’t either. So basically, we only had problem with the janitor and maybe that the receptionists could have followed it up a bit better and made sure it was fixed instead of letting us find out every day that it didn’t, when we came back to the room.

Everything was great, service, staff, location and food.

The windsurfing facility in the hotel could definitely use some improvement. The equipment is quite outdated and not well maintained, which affects the overall experience. Additionally, charging extra for wetsuits doesn’t feel fair, especially when all the available ones are damaged or in poor condition

Nice resort with very beautiful gardens and a lot facilities. Very specious rooms with spectacular views. Mini bar with a lot of choices of cold drinks. Hotel decorated with nice Christmas decorations. Cosy lobby with nice round bar. Staff at the reception very helpful especially Walid I came only for 1 night he made his very best to facilitate check in to my room as soon as possible. The staff at lobby bar also very friendly. I also appreciated the driver who took me to the airport very friendly fantastic driver. Nice location 45 minutes away from HRG airport -shuttle was inclusive in a room price fast internet nice quiet beach and a lot of facilities swimming pools with warm water SPA restaurants a la cart I had really nice stay. Great choice of food a variety of options

Not much to say I was disappointed in service of the staff at the restaurant was not as friendly and helpful compared to staff from reception and lobby bar its big difference in service. Alcohol drinks and wine not really drinkable only beer was ok
