A week spent with my children in this very beautiful eco-responsible hotel. Magnificent seabed. Excellent food. Everything was perfect until my son got sick on the 3rd day (gastroenteritis, classic in this kind of country). I contact the hotel reception who sends me back to the Soma Bay clinic... Completely standard medical check-up and I come out with a prescription for medication and a bill for 633.88 euros!!!! To be paid when checking out at the hotel... Negotiation impossible... And if you don't pay, you'll miss your plane, no more, no less... If you don't want your vacation to turn into a nightmare , I hope you do not get sick... It would be appropriate for the hotel to clarify the role it plays in this matter. Regardless, nothing justifies such an amount, it's simply scandalous!!!

My stay at The Breakers exceeded my expectations, I was a solo traveller and was made to feel so welcomed by each member of staff across all departments, I never felt alone and would return for this specific reason and the facilities. I truly felt relaxed on my stay and can't thank the The Breakers team enough.

they removed the kettle from the rooms,the staff not as friendly with Egyptians ,and the food wasn’t the best

staff, tranquillity, location and food was really nice. the access for divers is amazing. The Yoga teacher is amazing. The sustainability project about the hotel is a nice start (water bottle, ecological renovation …)

everything is so expensive ! and you must pay everything and the cost was same in Paris or London (Yoga lesson, drinks) Per night per person is equivalent to a palace without the same quality.

Quiet, and peaceful without loud music etc around the pool . The vi e is sporty but restful with chill out spaces, sauna, yoga etc. Primarily adults when I was there. Beautiful rooms outfitted in natural materials like wood and linen. The food was good, staff were lovely and the view was amazing. The house reef was great for snorkeling and the dive center is located at the hotel. Unfortunately despite booking the holiday for diving I had a bad cold and could not dive so I can’t comment on the dive center. Yoga on the jetty in the evening was wonderful and the Arial yoga was fun too . The beaches were quiet in February and I went horse riding from the local stables at sunset too. Snorkeling trips can be arranged nearby and there are little golf cart taxis to take you to other places in the area like the harbour. I loved it and would definitely go back.

Nothing really. A little bit expensive but on balance worth it

I liked everything! Everyone is friendly, the hotel is small, so there is a warm friendly atmosphere between vacationers too. The design, equipment and modern look give aesthetic pleasure. The food is excellent. A large selection for everyone, including vegetarians. Freshly squeezed carrot juice for breakfast. Regular parties with live music or a DJ. The house reef is amazing! The diving center is gorgeous! Kiting for all levels. It is difficult to leave from there, most of the guests are regulars. Even if come alone, you will be alone only if you wish it

It's an amazing hotel! Very simple and the staff are very nice. The hotel is very cozy, with a spacious room overlooking the sea and you can watch the sunrise every morning from your balcony, or actually from your bed! This was my second visit to the hotel, and it was very hard to leave such a lovely place! I extended my stay 3 times. Having the diving center in the hotel makes it even a bonus and more of a reason to stay and dive more. I highly recommend the hotel!

I love Soma Bay in general, its quite and lovely, its a hidden gem so not crowded and thats what I love about it, I love the location of Breakers because its on the lovely jetty so that you can do snorkeling or diving just meters away from you. It should always be a very good value for money, but I went there for the first time on a season, so it was a little pricey, but overall I love it.

Rooms are quite dated, and food was only good for one night over three nights stay

Beautifully decorated big room, facilities were always clean, staff was friendly. I really liked that you get a metal bottle (no plastic) and can refill it with cold drinking water whenever you like. The food was outstanding. Nice sunbeds at the beach. The hotel is located right next to a dive school and has a beautiful house reef, where you can also go snorkelling.

All the amenities, the eco vibe, all the wooden structures. So close to the healthy and abundant Coral teaming with fish. The food was amazing. The water bottles no plastic. Felt very relaxed and safe. Would definitely think about returning..

Drinks were very expensive. 8.50 € for a cappuccino and snickers bar. 42 each was for their transfer. Maybe look up an Uber ... No kettle in the room so had to wait til going down for breakfast. Will take my own ne t time.
