Great fun!

The boat rental through the hotel was a disaster, paid over $3k for a private boat and upon arrival it was a shared experience with 20 people: was told it was private. Got scammed!

The location of the hotel is brilliant but like most big resorts it needs a lot of improvement. Mostly with the staff. Some are just plain rude and either shouldn’t be there or need retraining in the art of hospitality!

The food is very mediocre to say the least. When I make a booking in a restaurant for 8.30, I expect to be taken to my table and seated at that time. Not half an hour later. The restaurant barely had anything available on the menu and our food didn’t start coming out until nearly 10pm! Just unacceptable level of service in a high end resort.

So many amenities! The pools were very nice. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. I thought the restaurant options were wonderful! The Casino was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed the Baha Bay water park.The staff was lovely.

The food is seriously over priced, to the point of ridiculous! There should be an all inclusive option at this resort

All were good, not excellent! Choice were adequate. Prices just were very expensive for what you had. Don’t think we will be coming back.. Casino was adequate also. Not worth what you pay for sure, and the staff not very accommodating.

The entire Baha Mar resort is amazing and this was our second time vacationing there. The room was comfortable and a good size, and all of the amenities are fabulous - great restaurants, beach, a plethora of pools, the waterpark, etc. I LOVE how it's only 10-15 minutes from the airport and a quick direct flight from NYC. It rained one day this trip so we booked massages and the Spa experience was GREAT! I'd definitely book again next time even if it's sunny. We had a great time at the new Baha Bay beach club also! (there is a food/drink minimum for chairs but you'll easily hit it and then some...!)

This was my first stay at the Hyatt - last visit we were at SLS. Both hotels share nearly all of the same amenities so you can definitely choose based on price for your dates however I did prefer the SLS over the Hyatt. The Hyatt is more than double the size as SLS so I found it to be more crowded - the elevators, the front desk, etc. I also like how the SLS has an actual lobby whereas the Hyatt is basically just the check in area and then the casino floor. Also be warned that food and drink on site are expensive and subject to automatic service and VAT charges. IMO it's all worth it but can be a little shocking when you're there.

The Grand Hyatt has everything you need. The grounds of Baha Mar are kept very clean and beautiful. We had a basic room but it was fine for our group of four. Everyday we went to a different pool or area of the beach and just really enjoyed the environment. We used the water park and it was very nice. Overall, we loved our stay at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and will be back within the year.

For those travelling with teens and younger, there should be a few more food options in the evenings that are not expensive or long waits. Having all the food trucks on the beach open just a couple hours longer would help. Not everyone travelling wants big expensive meals or to make reservations at the pizza lab. A pizza place shouldn't be a two hour wait for families. By the slice options would be nice at a walk up window near the Pizza Lab. We had several people on the beach come up from other hotels on cable beach trying to sell timeshares or schedule appointments to sit through presentations. Would be helpful for security to have a person at the edge of the property to keep them away.

We stayed at the grand Hyatt. The place was absolutely beautiful. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in the grounds and the lush environment was spectacular. The pools were great and the location was amazing. The few complaints I have are really criticisms was that the room was not spectacular for the price. The pictures make it look way nicer than it actually is basically a regular double queen bedroom. Bathroom was OK. The doors don’t lock in the bathroom and the balcony was just OK overall I think it wasn’t worth the extra thousand plus dollars for a balcony instead of a Juliet. My other criticism is the prices of everything if you’re going here expect to spend a ton of money when we got there our first drink at the pool bar wire $25 each after they add service tax and VAT tax. By the way, these taxes are added to every single thing you buy I wanted to buy my son a small foam football to play with on the beach and it was $49 plus service, tax and that tax. Another example is at the sugar factory and ice cream cone was $16 and my son got a bag of candy that consisted of five Reese‘s peanut butter cups and a handful of skittles and it cost $17. I only give these examples to say that when you go here expect to spend money onstuff you would never spend money on before but it’s vacation and we were expecting it. The food at the restaurants was very good and the service was amazing. The biggest bonus is the waterpark attached to the hotel. It is a very nice size waterpark with great rides and you can basically walk in and out from the beach as many times as you want. We had one rainy day and we spent the entire day at the waterpark in the rain and my kids loved it. There is no shortage of food options throughout the hotel from food trucks to a small restaurants to elegant restaurants. We made reservations for each dinner ahead of time.

Immaculate facilities, water park, pools, beautiful ocean water, excellent food.

The cost of everything is almost laughable. You want a cup of coffee? $15. 2 mixed drinks, $50+. breakfast sandwich, $30. This place is not recommended on a budget.
