Awesomely cool hotel vibe - why, decor is Swedish cool, BUT the staff, they created such a great vibe. Hats off to them, even at 2 am in the morning!!

The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a diverse selection, and the bonus was the panoramic view from the rooftop restaurant. We also enjoyed a good dinner in that restaurant on one of the evenings. The room and the bed were comfortable. The location is a few minutes walk from the city's center, where you can find the remarkable cathedral, many restaurants, lively bars, a shopping center, and stores.

The air conditioning system functioned effectively, albeit with some noticeable noise. It is worth mentioning that despite the noise, we could still enjoy a restful night's sleep.

Love the concept of these hotels, the quality of the WiFi, the cleaning, the small but lovely fitness area, the free water at the reception, the offered drinks in the fridge, the shower, the location and the overall interior design.

The staff this time was not kind, particularly one person who insisted in asking for personal details while he had all on Booking (he first said he did not and then that he did). Really weird and unpleasant. Last time the staff was very kind ans smiley. This time there were no cups in the fitness room to allow people to drink water. My husband prefers rooms with two pillows. We'll be back.

Hotel is very clean, silent, stuff is very helpful and friendly. 24hrs reception. Bathroom is in the room, not isolated. Free refreshing drinks in minibar.

Bit of weird sewer smell from ventilation in the room, had to turn it off, smell stopped. We stayed up late into the night in the city and spontaneously chose this hotel. Sadly hotel offered us price 30% more than booking.com and 40% more than official hotel website, so staying at the reception in the night we proceeded with booking.com reservation and it worked perfectly. We recommend hotel to offer fair prices, corresponding to their own website, because for us in this case it felt like hotel wanted to charge us more, based on midnight time and spontaneous arrival.

Quiet location about an eight minute walk from the Altstadt. The Hauptbahnhof is considerably further, so best to get an Uber. The room was an adequate size. The bathroom was a bit unusual, and there was a separate toilet. The breakfast was great, although there was always a queue for the coffee machine!

The air-conditioning was noisy and it wasn't at all obvious how to control the temperature. There was a weird dial thermostat on the wall that had absolutely no temperature marks! I would have preferred the traditional bathroom arrangement.

Rooftop bar was excellent - great view. Was clean, staff were polite, was at the right price - not much more to say really; it was a one night stay so not too much that should go wrong really!

'Free minibar' is just a welcome coke and water. Wasn't really expecting any more, but just say that rather than dressing it up as something more. Parking is expensive, although we did know this in advance so can't complain. Requested one room as a twin room for the kids but were given a double room. Didn't raise this as we were only there 1 night.

We booked the hotel for after a concert - it was reduced in price, so we got a really nice hotel for not much money :) The room was a good size, beds very comfortable, room overall clean. We could unfortunately not use the wellness area due to timing restricts on our side. Note - the bathroom is open, there is only a separate door for the toilet. The hotel is nicely located at the beginning of the shopping streets with some bakeries close by. We choose to have breakfast there, as at 25 EUR it's quite expensive at the hotel. Parking - we just parked on the street, as the underground parking is quite expensive and we left early again. Overall I'd book the hotel again if the price is right :)

We just LOVED everything @Innside by Melia. The kindness of the people at the reception, the excellent food at the "UPTOWN SKY LOUNGE & RESTAURANT" on the 6th floor of the building, the beds, the cleanliness, the decoration and, last but not least the Fitness Area. It was our 2nd consecutive year going as a family to Innside by Melia Aachen (having as highlight the magical Carolus Thermen just 9' walk from the hotel) and believe us we have already started planning our 3rd excursion-visit for the Carnaval period 2026 (February/March). Keep up the wonderful job your are doing!

Maria Sanchez was wonderful at the front desk as there was a long term issue with Booking.com and an error in the booking process. I spend many, many hours trying to correct the situation and had documentation that it was finally corrected only the hotel was not notified Breakfast was wonderful either a fantastic city view

I accidentally booked two reservations by mistake and booking could not refund the duplicate reservation within a minute of contact after the error. Also, the shower/ sink area doesn’t offer privacy if traveling with a friend. We had to plan for someone to leave the room while the other person showered

Room was large and comfortable as was the bed. There was tea/coffee-making facility and a fridge with complimentary water and fruit juices. The hotel is an easy 10 minute stroll from Aachen's main attractions, the Dom and Rathaus. It has a secure underground car park with elevator access to the hotel albeit at a price we were happy to pay! The breakfast is served in a lovely 5th floor restaurant at a price too high for us. This was the best hotel of our two-week touring holiday.
