This is the second time staying at the Mercure this year because the location is convenient for me. The supermarket on the ground floor is open till late and you can buy water and fruit to put in the fridge which is in the hotel room. There is a small mall and eating places within walking distance. Public transport is nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Berlin.

The room was a bit small. It would have been nicer if there was an armchair instead of a chair.

Location is near train and very easy to get everywhere else. Loved the fact that hotel has market on the first floor, restaurant on second and has also gym.

Breakfasts as not included. But it has cafe on the first floor.

When we said, that it wasn't our fault that the booked room was not available, they gave us the suite with no extra charges. Employees where helpfull. The staff were very helpful. The gym was well equipped. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. Good secure parking. A very large Supermarket downstairs. Underground station minutes walk away.

The first room we were allocated was a fantastic family room with a room divider, twin beds and a double bed, two bathrooms and two tvs. However the double bed was a sofa bed which was very flimsy and noisy in our opinion. We were given another room with 4 proper beds, all very comfortable but it was a down graded room. We were given an apology and a gift basket which was lovely. The restaurant doesn’t offer kids meals so as we arrived in Berlin late at night on a Sunday we didn’t have any other choice and this was a problem trying to get something to eat before bed. The location is a little far out but the underground station is very close.

The breakfast buffet was well done. They had fresh squeezed orange juice and carrot ginger shots available. They had a great waffle station that my 8 year old would look forward to every morning. When we checked in the sofa bed for my 16 year old had already been set up in bed form. So this was nice especially after a long day of travel. The room and bathroom were pretty clean. There is a supermarket on the ground floor where we were able to buy snacks for our boys and water. (Beautiful supermarket). The U train was just a block away for ease of transportation.

A really fabulous hotel with an amazing and modern reception area and rooms. The room layout was spacious and comfortable. Room was cleaned and replenished every day which was great. Very close to Birkenstraße U stop which was convenient. Also really liked having a super market on the bottom floor which was very handy!

Unfortunately in the upstairs section of the suite the air conditioning didn’t work. We reported this on arrival and the maintenance team came to look at it but it still was very hot upstairs.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Something for everyone’s taste. Spacious five-story parking lot, with the fifth floor connecting directly to the reception. A very convenient hotel if you’re traveling by car. The U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations are conveniently close, making it easy to get around the city.

Some rooms face the street, while others overlook the indoor courtyard with a view of the reception. I’ve stayed at the hotel twice, and I preferred the room with windows facing the street – it had more natural light.

Breakfast was nice and fresh orange juice and food and the staff at the breakfast was always really nice. Hotel room was very clean, quiet and bed was comfy. It was easy to take the nearby train to the city centre. Breakfast had options such as fresh orange juice, fruits, pretzels and omelettes.

A bit poor customer service at the check-in. The breakfast was a bit too focused on ''English breakfast'' :( If you are a vegan, there is basically only few options for you to eat. Fresh coffee would be a nice deal what especially travelers from the Nordic countries would appreciate, as the coffee machine's coffee was very very bad :(

spacious room, hotel located inside a small shopping centre with a large supermarket just downstairs, the location is close to 2 metro stations

the entrance was not easy to spot and instructions no clear - you would either use the small entrance in the street or take the escalators inside the shopping centre, although the location is OK for public transport, there are not many decent restaurants/cafes/bars nearby to choose from - we simply chose this hotel because it was closer to our work event venue

The staff was so professional and polite. The size of the room was exactly what we needed. The hotel was in a great location with a supermarket below. It was in a great location near the U9 stop. The hotel communicated clearly and often leading up to our stay.

The AC didn't work well at all. We needed to open the windows for the room so as not to feel like an oven, but then heard every sound made on the street below.
